The funny thing about always thinking about an AU is that I always keep in mind the characters that only exist there and that wouldn't exist if the idea hadn't occurred to me…
Don't mind me, I'm just having a moment of introspection XD
do mk's kids have any friends?
Hehehe, well of course (ouo)
1) Dishi has a small study group related to school; although it is a public school, they are more classmates than friends and usually meet when they need to do group tasks. Typically, Dishi occupies the role of leader, and each task done by his group receives a good grade. Meanwhile, outside of school, he has developed a kind of brotherhood with the housewives association of his community. Here, MK moved with the children to a bigger apartment, so he usually shares some interesting gossip with the ladies when he sees them on his way home, whether he's returning from school or has gone to the market for supplies.
Here I highlight the fact that he helps MK with household shopping, cleaning, chores, and sometimes taking care of his own siblings.
2) DingBang is almost a social butterfly and has a group of friends both at school and outside of school. However, in reality, this boy is nosy and usually does almost anything to be on the same page with any group of interest to him, whether it be hanging out with the cool kids, arcade kids, or even adults who show some kind of overlap in his interests. So I would say that this child has "friends", although I would call them "casual friends" and not so much true friends.
But he still doesn't realize that.
3) Hao has classified Jin and Yin as his friends, and according to him, they meet weekly to hang out and play while he waits for his dad to pick him up / rescue him. Outside of them, unfortunately, Hao does not have any friends; according to him, it is difficult for him to interact with children his age, and this has caused him to be somewhat bullied at school. Although the others don't know the latter.
He prefers to be with his family because, at the end of the day, it is with them that he gets along best.
4) Mao doesn't have a good reputation since he was caught stealing in class, but somehow he always has some classmates that he "deals" with, and somehow he passes that off as friendship.
5) BaoBao has her school friends and the monkeys at Flower Mountain. We could also include MK, her brothers, Mei, Red Son, Pigsy, etc. The only person she does not consider a friend is Wukong. She has her reasons.
Which kid will kill for her/his friends and family?
Dishi, Mao and BaoBao.
And these are my arguments:
1) Dishi is the oldest and most likely to act quickly in defense of his family if the situation requires it, although it is possible that he will be scarred for life after the event if that were to happen.
2) Mao, the fourth, would do it instinctively; he just needs an opportunity and to feel desperation fill his heart to drive him to strike. But considering that he is only 8 years old, it is possible that, in the end, he will not manage to commit any murder.
3) BaoBao, as the younger sister, feels a deep love for her family, and like her older siblings, she would want to protect them at all costs. Although she is only 5 years old, the chances of her being successful are almost zero.

I started doing this comic after the end of season 4 and before special 4, sooooo… without warning because we already know what MK looks like XP
For children, MK is still MK (ouo)
I hope you like it!
P.S: This comic also partly answers a question I was asked about MK's monkey form -> (OvO)/

How does the timeline work in the mkdadau?
An interesting question (owo)
As I previously established in the introduction to the MK Dad AU, the events in this universe occur after the defeat of Lady Bone Demon, with the only variant being that at the end of that year, the Monkey King disappeared, leaving MK in doubt about his whereabouts. And consequently changing the course of the original line of the series.
Previously, I spoke with @melancholialapelada7, the co-creator of the AU, about whether to follow the future events of the Lego Monkie Kid series, and what we decided was to include them slowly at our discretion. So I am free to exclude or include certain events at my convenience in this AU.
So the events of season 4 along with Special 4 will still occur, just with a delay, with these events falling in succession along with the return of the Monkey King.
As far as I have raised the issue of MK's monkey form and the chaos that will be generated in heaven, it will happen, just in a different way... like, for example, the issue of who will open the scroll. That's going to change.
And in addition to other events, such as the topic of Azure Lion's late presentation and the doubt about the man from the underworld, they will occur simultaneously, as if they were waiting to start after a long pause.
Although of course, with the inclusion of children.
