Combined Beings (xiv)

“Baby, remember, if you see anyone following you in any way, let Jae know okay? He will be right next to you while the other two will stay from afar—Duri and Jihun—and you already saw their faces so, you can make sure to differentiate them between others, got it?”

You smiled at Jimin’s words and nodded, hearing Ari and Eunji giggling like schoolgirls over his words. You playfully rolled your eyes as Jimin grabbed your hands in his, Yoongi intervening once he saw that he wouldn’t let go.

“Okay, Jimin, let her go,” he mumbled, taking his hands away from yours. Jimin let go without much of a choice, a smile still tilted on his lips as if he was a statue. Yoongi turned to look at you as you continued to stay quiet, glancing between them. “Be careful, angel. You have our phone numbers.”

“I’ll be careful, Yoongi, don’t worry,” you chuckled to yourself, finding the situation a bit amusing since they were acting as if you were moving away. You were simply going to the mall. “Now, I’ll message you guys when I get there if that reassures you.”

“Please!”

You watched as they all said that in synch, heads bobbing up and down. They didn’t seem like ruthless killers they made themselves to be. Not when they looked at you like they were puppies and you were their owner, leaving them.

“Okay, we’re gonna steal her away for a bit. Bye!”

Ari grabbed you by the shoulders, making you wave to them over your shoulder. They waved back and they watched you get inside the car, watching it retreat away before they saw it disappear.

“The people are already in the room, sirs,” the second in command of the guards told all 7 boys who had been watching you. Namjoon hummed as the others glanced at one another.

“We need to get answers out of them,” Jin mumbled and the others stayed quiet, their silence telling everything. “In the meantime, Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook, go with the women. The rest of us will go to the men in the basement.”

“Is it because we’re younger?” Jungkook pointed out and the older ones simultaneously gave a look before Yoongi flicked his forehead. “Alright, alright, we’re going.”

Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook walked towards the room containing the women who were accomplices. They were with the men who fought, but they also fought one another to defend their man.

“Hmm,” Jimin hummed as soon as the door closed behind them. Jungkook was currently sporting his stoic expression on his face while Taehyung was wearing his, too. Jimin was sarcastically smiling as the women looked at them. “So, you fought at my restaurant?”

The girl with the pink hair couldn’t even think as she looked at Jimin. He was wearing a black, baggy, long-sleeved button down with black, tight pants that showcased the muscle on his thighs. Rings adorned his fingers and a bracelet remained on his wrist, a really shiny one that the others were wearing, too. The other girl, the brunette one, was also ogling them one by one. Especially Jungkook who was wearing a black, right shirt that displayed his arm filled with tattoos. God, she could jump him.

“He asked you a question,” Jungkook softly spoke with a stern tone. The women seemed to not be paying attention to their words, but they both knocked out of whatever trance they were in when Jimin grabbed his gun from his guard and placed it on the back of his pants.

“We-we didn’t start the fight,” the pink-haired girl answered with a shaky voice. “We swear.”

“Yeah,” the other girl agreed with her words. “We didn’t start anything. Our boyfriends fought and we were stepping in to stop them. But, they then told us they were hired by someone who gave them 10 grand to start a fight in the restaurant so a girl could be hurt. They said the girl was dangerous, having killed many people and they needed to eliminate her as self-defense.”

The men glanced at each other as they silently thanked Jimin for killing Nabi whose reason to kill you was pretty much crazy. You could barely kill a fly without crying and he was told by Eunji during a meeting with the supervisors that you are in fact very sensitive when it comes to animals. Even crying to seeing a dog across the street.

“Now,” Jimin spoke as he squatted in front of them, “that girl… is very, very dear to us.” The women now noticed his change of demeanor and they could see his true colors coming to light as his eyes darkened. “If anything had happened to her, even a single scratch, I would’ve killed you both! Honestly. But instead, you left her scared. Do you think I should let you live?”

“We didn’t know,” the brunette breathed out, starting to panic as she processed how scary the men seemed to be. The three in front of her wore black clothes and their guards behind them blocking the door seemed to do so, too. They had guns, she could see the outline of it under their jackets. “We swear! We didn’t know. We would like to apologize to her, please.”

“We would agree with that,” Taehyung spoke, arms crossed over his shoulders as he leaned against a desk, having been in a room they all used to do business in. “But, we don’t want you two to see her at all after your actions made her anxious, scared, paranoid. She will be out of this.”

“I have a question,” Jimin started and the girls turned to look at him as he raised his hand mid-air, a small smile on his lips. “How important are your boyfriends to you both?”

“We’re best friends,” the pink-haired girl answered, “we started dating them because they gave us money. We needed it to pay off rent.”

“Then you wouldn’t mind if they end up disappearing right?” Jungkook questioned and they both looked at one another before shaking their heads. “You know, we’ll let you both go. But if we ever come across you two ever trying to hurt our girl again, your bodies will never be found.”

The brunette started crying at the threat, scared for her life. But, she shouldn’t be crying when the guy she was dating was currently screaming bloody-murder for a finger of his was missing and his knees was shot.

“I can do the other one,” Namjoon taunted him, placing the gun to his other knee. “But, it’s fun knowing how scared you are. You feel that anxiety, huh?” The raven-haired man nodded. “Good. That’s how our girl felt when you two fought. You were planning on causing everyone on that restaurant to fight until someone reached her, didn’t you?”

“We promise,” the brunette man beside his bleeding friend shakily said, “that woman told us she was dangerous, saying she deserved it.”

“Why would you believe a random woman?” Yoongi asked, his mouth opened a bit as he raised an eyebrow at him. “Huh? Now you can’t speak? Is it because she gave you money that you two believed her? Is that all it takes for you two dumbasses? Money?”

“Please, we didn’t know the girl was anything to you,” the brunette pleaded before he glanced at all of them. He was the only one that knew who they were. He was in gang after gang and they never dared cross the Tan mafia. “We didn’t know. We wouldn’t have started anything.”

“I’m more annoyed that a random woman offered you money and you believed her lies just because she gave you something,” Namjoon scoffed. The two men could only shake their heads at their idiocy, knowing that today would be their last day walking on Earth.

You, on the other hand, watched as your friends chose whatever they wanted. You could only watch with a smile, happy that, despite it wasn’t with your money, you got to spoil them. They were running off the buy themselves some clothes and they went to get you some things they could find. You appreciated their efforts, but you simply didn’t want to spoil yourself without feeling bad at the amount of money you would be spending on yourself.

“Ooh,” you let out as Jae walked beside you in the jewelry store. You gaped at a necklace with a lock, the diamonds shining under the light. “This suits Hobi. Do you think he’ll like it, Jae?”

The older man curtly nodded. “Yes, ma’am.”

You continued moving as a worker stood not so far from you, grabbing the necklace you had pointed at. You looked around and then did you started noticing things for each boy, grabbing necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.

But Jae couldn’t help but mentally note your figure stopping by a beautiful necklace, a Diamond butterfly adorning the neck of the mannequin. He knows that if he told any of the boys, they would buy it for you in an instant.

Ignoring your wants, you paid for the things you chose, and the look on people’s faces once you showed Jimin’s black card was humorous to you.

“I love you so much,” Ari leaned against you, slightly tipsy since you three, add Jae, had gone to a store that provided drinks and snacks. “We are going to spoil the fuck out of you now because you spoiled us.”

“I deserved this shopping spree,” Eunji sighed, a relaxing smile on her face just at the thought of the clothes she had bought for herself and son. “I haven’t gone out shopping since the munchkin was born.”

“And I’m just happy we managed to get Y/n to spoil herself a bit,” Ari pointed out and you snorted at her words. You continued to look over your shoulder, making sure the other guards were right behind you. They were. “I’m so happy they treat you so good even though you’re not dating yet. They look like they’ll jump your bones if you let them.”

You chuckled and shook your head. “Shut up.”

You four continued walking, heading towards the food court that awaited you all, stomachs rumbling with hunger. But once you saw the food court coming to view, a voice called out for you, one you dreaded.

“Y/n! Is that you?” You turned to look and there they were. Your sister and your mom, a much older woman in between them, staring at you. Your mother had gasped, her hands covering her mouth very dramatically. You withheld your sigh of disappointment. Of course life would be throwing you a bunch of bullets just when it was getting better. “Oh sweetie, it’s nice to see you! Why haven’t you called me?”

You turned to look at your friends. “Can you guys find us a table please?” They nodded, understanding that this was a personal matter, and turned to leave, leaving you alone with your mother who was surprisingly with your sister. The two never got along.

“Is this your boyfriend?” Your sister asked Jae who looked at you, waiting for your approval to answer. You nodded, of course.

“No, ma’am,” Jae sternly said before he continued. “I am a married man. I am just the bodyguard of Ms. Y/n, so could you two step away?”

Your sister and mom did so, following his tone of voice. But your mom couldn’t hide her interest when she eyed the bags in your hand and the bodyguard.

“So, you have money now?” You sighed and ignored her words, not trying to let her have the benefit of the doubt that you have so much money. You have an income that allowed you to have a house and you were just thankful you had a roof over your head. “But Y/n, I’m wondering even more why you haven’t answered my phone calls.”

“Mom, I haven’t received any calls. And if I did, I’ve been extremely busy with work, I barely have time for myself except today.”

“I should’ve called, but we don’t have your number, just your house phone’s number,” your sister stepped in before showing her left hand where a ring was displayed on her ring finger. “I’m getting married and we were trying to invite you.”

You and your sister treated each other like sisters at a young age. But, during your teenage years, you were getting bullied for not being the weight everyone at school had been. Your sister did nothing to defend you. If anything, she laughed alongside her friends who harassed you. She apologized, but when you didn’t want to forgive her, she distanced herself, saying she deserved to be forgiven since she apologized. You cut her off.

Now your mom, she was a great mom. She listened to you and she even came to you for advice on her own life. But she was a cheater, which drove away your dad since he was tired of her denying it when there was evidence. She even got you to meet the man she was cheating on your dad with and you, unknowingly, stayed quiet which had caused guilt. Why would she do that to a 16-year-old who simply needed a ride to school? And yes, despite her flaws, your mom was a great mom. But she was also a bully who went on extreme diets to lose weight which she then took it out on you. You were her punching bag—mentally—and you didn’t want that in your life anymore, so you cut her off, too.

“Congrats,” you smiled at your sister as she eyed the bracelet you matched with the boys. “Just give me your phone number—”

“If you’re seeing anyone by the way,” she cut you off, “invite them. I want to meet whoever you’re with.”

“Here,” you ignored her words, passing her your phone. As she typed down the numbers, you saw all the boys’ names pop up in suggestions, making you nervous since you knew she eyed the hearts. She’s gonna think you’re messing around with more than one person separately when they’re already in a relationship with one another. “Okay then, I’ll text you for more details.”

“Also, y/n,” your mom started as soon as you were to bid them goodbye, “this is my friend, Haneul . Call her, Ms. Kim.”

You bowed to the stern looking woman. “Nice to meet you. I would love to chat, but I have some people waiting for me so I’ll talk to you when I can. Bye.”

You didn’t care if you were rude or not, but you could not bear being in your mother and sister’s presence. You couldn’t believe you were related to them.

“They’re okay… people,” Jae commented beside you as you two headed towards the food court where you could see Eunji and Ari already eating. Your appetite was gone.

You snorted. “You could say that.” You sighed. “I didn’t think I’d see them today out of all days. Now they’re gonna think I’m made of money and ask me for money. Especially if my sister is getting married.”

“I’m pretty sure if you let the boys know, they’ll help you,” at the end of his words, your head was already moving side to side. “I’m being serious.”

“I know you are,” you chuckled as you sat by your friends, “but Jimin already lend me his card. I can’t ask for more. I’ve had enough.”

“So, mom and sister, huh?” Ari questioned, her hot dog in her hands. You nodded while a sigh escaped your lips, slouching on the chair. “Mommy issues. It’s weird to see the face of the woman we’ve been talking shit about.”

“I’m sorry guys, but can we go home?” You breathed out, eyebrows furrowing. “I can’t be in the same place as them.”

“Yeah, we should go because they’re hanging out with that old hag,” Eunji muttered angrily, eating her food. You and Ari glanced at her, even Jae had looked at her. The older woman eyed you three. “What? You know whose mom that is, right?” You shook your head. “That’s Iseul’s mom.”

“Of course it is,” Ari mumbled, eyes wide as she realized Iseul’s mom and your mom were friends. “Wait, that means she’d know your family!”

“Oh, my God,” you placed your elbow on the table as you rubbed the skin on your forehead. “Let’s go or else I’m going to start panicking.”

It didn’t take long to get home. The driver had thankfully dropped off Eunji and Ari, who had gotten picked up, and was now driving you back home to the 7 boys. They had gotten notified of the situation from Jae, who had strict orders that he should update them.

“Hi, baby,” Taehyung greeted you as soon as you headed inside, his body on the couch in the family room, having been waiting for you. He stood up and grabbed the bags from the driver’s hands, guiding you towards the dining room. “How was your time at the mall?”

“It was great,” you replied with a smile on your face. “I bought you guys some stuff that reminded me of you all.”

“Ooh, what did you get me?” He smirked, nudging your shoulder with his arm as he grabbed your hand, intertwining your fingers together. “Did you get me a necklace?”

“Tae,” his smile widened once he heard the nickname escape your mouth, “I’m not telling you until we see the others.”

“Alright, alright.”

You two walked into the dining room where the boys were talking amongst themselves. They stopped, though, once they heard you and Taehyung laughing after God-knows-what.

“Flower,” Jimin stood up, hugging you. “I missed you.”

“I was only gone for at least 4 hours,” you raised your eyebrows while your smile was still tilted on your lips. “But I got you guys something!”

They all watched as Taehyung passed you the bags that contained their gifts. They all watched with smile as you passed Namjoon a Diamond bracelet with a pendant that had a quote of his favorite book; Jin a ring that he had been talking to the boys about because the design it had reminded him of his youth, something you wouldn’t have known about; Yoongi a necklace with a music note; Hoseok a necklace with a lock that had a small dance figure in front of it; Jimin a bracelet with a pendant flower, one that had him smiling because it reminded him of you; Taehyung a charm bracelet that had charms of things he liked; and Jungkook a bracelet with purple diamonds adorning it since he mentioned the color brought him some type of peace.

“We love them, baby, thank you,” Jungkook kissed your head as he was beside you, his smile not leaving his lips as he looked at his gift.

“I know I spent it using your money,” you looked at Jimin, “but I had to buy these for you.”

He smiled, too before he looked at the others. They all nodded and you were too into watching the jewelry being placed on their skin to notice the action.

“Come on, flower,” Jimin mumbled, throwing you a smile once you looked at him. “You need to see the garden at night.”

The sun was setting, but you didn’t mind it one bit. When you taken to the garden, he was right, you needed to see it.

There were fairy lights that you had seen during the day. There were some on some trimmed bushes by roses that were growing. You couldn’t help but stare in awe as it seemed it came out of a fairytale story.

“It looks beautiful,” you commented and he chuckled, taking your hand and leading you both to a bench nearby, a small pond in front of you two with koi fish. “Why did we come here?”

“So, I heard you saw your mom and sister with Iseul’s mother?” You sighed at the reminder and nodded.

“Yeah, it ruined my mood,” you answered with pursed lips. “I cut them off for a reason, you know that. I couldn’t stand to see them, especially the two acting as if they’ve never hurt me.”

He nodded and grabbed your hand, placing it on top of his thigh. “You know we’ll always be here to protect you. That’s why we’re going to the wedding with you.”

“Are you sure?” You frowned at him and he nodded, placing an arm on the back of the bench, turning his body to look at you as you did, too.

“We’re sure, flower.”

“Why are we here, by the way?” You questioned. “I wanted to show you the outfits I had gotten.”

“And I bet you look beautiful in them,” he smiled and you snickered, waving him off. But silence consumed you both as you heard the sound of crickets nearby, alerting you of the nature surrounding the two of you. “Baby, I need to tell you something…”

You looked at him. “What is it? Are you okay?

He couldn’t help but smile at the concern laced in your voice. He nodded before he grabbed both of your hands, scooting closer. “I’m okay.” Your silence let him continue. “In the time I have met you, I have gotten to know the most beautiful soul that belongs to this beautiful girl.” He placed a hand on your cheek. “I have fallen in love with you, flower. I have. That’s why I wanted to have that date with you yesterday, to tell you what I’ve been feeling, and Nabi found out. I have fallen for you, hard, nothing compared to what I’ve felt with her, just what I’ve felt with the others and you. I’ve felt so comfortable and confident when I’m with you, so happy and excited to wake up because I get to see you, and you’re everything I’ve been thinking about from the moment I wake up until I go to sleep.”

“You’re in love with me?” You breathed out, finding this moment way too surreal and he nodded.

“I don’t want you to feel pressured into telling me you love me,” he reassured you. “But I do want to know if you like me and if you’re willing to fall in love with me, with the others. They’re willing to bring you into our relationship and they are excited for what the future will bring with you with us. Jin wants this.”

You let out a shaky breath and staring at his eyes under the lights made your heart beat against your chest at a pace it was concerning. You felt his hand move against your cheek and nodded, even placing against his own cheek.

He smiled and brought your foreheads together, breaths hitting each other’s lips.

“I love you and I’m willing to fall even more in love with you, Jimin. You and the others. I want you all. I want this.”

He grinned at your words before delving in, lips hitting yours. Your face and body burned, his fingers tracing the skin of your waist, digging themselves into it as he brought you closer, almost as if he couldn’t get enough of you.

His lips meshed against yours perfectly, sighs escaping his mouths as neither of you wanted to catch your breath. You didn’t want to let go and neither did he so he pulled you close until your legs rested against his own, his hand moving behind your head so it will be intertwined with the strands of your hair.

When you two backed away, your chests heaved up and down, allowing yourselves to catch your breaths before he kissed your lips one time, then a second, then a third, his eyes closing and yours, too.

“Fuck, I love you, flower,” he muttered against your lips and you smiled. “I can’t wait to show you off as ours. I honestly can’t.”

“How long have you been in love with me?” You asked and he smiled, his smile reaching his eyes as he held you close, eyes glancing at your lips.

“When we met.”

You slightly giggled at his dazed look before smiling, your thumbs rubbing the skin of his cheekbones. “I love you.”

“And I love you,” he mumbled, glancing behind your shoulder. “Let’s go tell the others. They were nervous what you were going to say.”

You nodded and he grabbed your hand, leading you towards the group of boys who were in the kitchen now, biting their lips out of nervousness. They looked up once they heard footsteps and eyed the way Jimin seemed way too excited, his face breaking out in a smile.

“So…?” Taehyung asked.

“She wants this,” Jimin answered and your face burned as they all simultaneously turned to see you. “She wants us all of us. She wants to fall in love with us all and she wants us…”

Jin looked at you. “Do you want this?”

“I want this,” you nodded in confirmation and he smiled. “Do you want this?”

“I’m willing to fall in love with you just like they have all fallen for you,” he answered and you eyed the way he played with his rings. “I want to try for you and for them and I accept you into our relationship. I’m excited for our future with you and I’m happy I don’t need to protect our hearts anymore from heartbreak.”

“We want you.”

Combined Beings (xiii.v)

“Jimin.”

Silence

“Jimin.”

Another beat of silence.

“Jimin!”

Said man groaned at coming back to consciousness, swatting away the person at fault who was trying to wake him up from his sleep. He snuggled his head closer to the pillow by his face and was falling back asleep if it weren’t for the fact that his blanket was taken off.

“What?” He snapped, looking at the culprit. Taehyung stood there, glaring at him for his attitude. “I’m sorry. What’s wrong?”

“We have the day off today,” Taehyung told him, sitting on the edge of the bed while he faced him. A sigh escaped his lips as Hoseok words lingered in his head. “So, Hobi told me what happened.”

Jimin groaned as he sat up, his eyes adjusting to the sunlight peaking through the gaps of the curtains. “Fucking Nabi got on my nerves, threatened to kill flower if we were even seen going out with her. She deserved it.”

Taehyung chuckled and shook his head. “I believe so, too. But, hopefully, you did it when nobody was in the building?” Jimin nodded. “Okay. In the meantime, I’m sure you have to apologize to someone in the garden.”

“She’s still here?” Jimin breathed out and Taehyung nodded. “Why didn’t you start with that one, Tae? I need to apologize.”

“You immediately gave me attitude!” Taehyung retorted with a loud tone, a scoff escaping his lips as he watched Jimin’s hands splattered with dots of blood. “wasn’t going to give you the satisfaction of letting you know that she was still here. If you kept giving me attitude, I would’ve gone back out there and cuddled the shit out of her, which reminds me…”

Taehyung glanced at Jimin before running out of the room, heading towards you. Jimin stared after his retreating figure, rolling his eyes and going to the bathroom to shower to get rid of the blood still stained on his skin. He would’ve showered last night but as soon as he saw his bed, his body landed on it and then did he fall into a deep slumber.

Now, though, he couldn’t stop thinking about you. He hasn’t stopped. Not when Nabi threatened to kill, not then could he stop thinking about you. He loved thinking about you.

“You guys have such a beautiful garden,” you breathed out, watching the greenery in front of you since Jin decided to show you it. “It’s so gorgeous.”

“Want to help me?” Jin brought up some garden tools and knowing that you two loved the feeling of dirt, he didn’t dare bring gloves. Not right now. “Come on.”

You smiled and followed after him, getting to business.

Jimin finally headed towards the kitchen where everyone was silently eating, laughter heard from afar and the sound made his head snap towards where it came from.

He got closer and stood by the door leading to the garden, eyeing you and Jin as the two of you laughed in synch. He leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest as he admired the way the sun illuminated you both, smiles shining even brighter.

“She looks so beautiful, huh?” Jungkook appeared next to him and Jimin hummed. “You not being there hurt her, you know?” Jim stayed quiet as Jungkook continued to speak. “Namjoon and I had to bring her back here because someone was watching her home and some people fought in your restaurant when she was alone.”

“I know, Nabi let me know they worked with her,” Jimin frowned at the mention of you being in danger. This was another reason as to why he was grateful for the fact he killed Nabi. “Did you find out who the people were?”

“They’re being brought in.”

Jimin nodded before he looked at you again, his frown still evident as he mentally beat himself up for not being there for you. He should’ve been there. You would’ve been much safer and he would’ve been able to kill those who made you feel in danger and even put you in danger.

Jin glanced at him, noticing that he was thinking hard while his eyes were set on yours. He stood up from beside you, excusing himself, and heading towards the youngest.

“This is your chance now to fix your mistake,” Jin softly glared at Jimin who didn’t need to be told twice, already making his way to you as soon as the words escaped his mouth.

“Baby,” he mumbled, catching your attention. You looked at him as soon as you heard his voice and he could tell that you didn’t feel like talking to him by the way you paid attention to the flowers more than him. “Flower, I’m sorry.”

“I don’t even know why I’m mad at you,” you muttered, gaze stuck on the flowers in front of you. “It hurt so much that after we made up, we wanted to go out, and I don’t get a single message from you when I waited for hours. Instead, I get a message from Nabi telling me you’re with her after Jungkook let you know what she told me. It’s almost as if her words came true.”

He stared at the way you didn’t dare look at him. He sighed. “Baby… I had to kill Nabi.” You stopped your movements. “I wouldn’t have told you but, I need to explain why I wasn’t there with you and was with her instead.” You still hadn’t moved. He took it as his chance to continue. “She threatened to kill you if we hung out with you and that’s why a fight broke out in my club and why there was someone in front of your house. She had her people look after you.”

“She wanted to kill me?” You breathed out, a frown now appearing on your face.

“If I hadn’t killed her, she would’ve killed you first,” Jimin explained before he grabbed your dirty hands, making you turn to him. “She found your phone number because she had found it on the work website, which reminds me that I need to tell Hobi to get rid of that. We can’t have you in danger now, can we?”

“Does she have any family?” Jimin shook his head at your question and you couldn’t help but still feel bad for the woman. “That’s… sad.”

Jimin hummed before he placed a hand on your cheek. “I am sorry. I was looking forward for our date and just to hang out with you and spend time with you. Nabi ruined everything I had planned because… We just need to talk tonight. Me and you, okay?”

“Okay, Jimin, I forgive you,” you smiled at him and he smiled, too, leaning in to give you a kiss on the forehead. But, your smile wiped from your face when you remembered something. “Actually, I can’t tonight. I have a “date” with Ari. She wanted to hang out yesterday but, I told her I had lunch with you.”

“Why don’t you invite her over?” Jimin suggested, shrugging his shoulders. “We have a movie theater or I can give you my card so you can go to the mall.”

Your eyes slightly widened at his words and shook your head. “I am not taking your card.”

“I’ll just give it to Ari because I know she’s a great friend who’d want you to spoil yourself,” Jimin chuckled and you gave him a playful glare. “I’m being serious. You’re taking it.”

“I’m not.”

“Then, I’m calling Ari,” Jimin said, grabbing his phone. You looked at him confusedly and he hid his smile, “and I have her phone number.”

You gasped before trying to get rid of the phone. As it rang, Jimin looked at Jungkook who came over. “Jin wanted me to—”

“Grab her hand so I can tell Ari something!” Jimin rushed out and Jungkook nodded, hands coming to grab yours from behind. A single hand held both your wrists while the other slithered around your waist.

“Be still, baby,” he mumbled in your ear and you followed his words, both of you listening to Jimin.

“Hey, Ari, it’s Jimin,” he smirked at you as you stayed quiet, knowing that arguing would make him spoil you more. “Mr. Park? Yes, it’s me… I’m calling because I want to take flower out but she let me know she has plans with you… No, I’m not stealing her, no, you know what? I am! But, I’m willing to make you an offer.”

“Is he trying to spoil you?” Jungkook whispered in your ear and you nodded, listening. “Good.”

“I want her to spoil herself,” Jimin continued, “and I told her that she can take you to the mall or bring you here to our house. But, if you do go to the mall, you will be given my card… Yes, it’s a black card… You want to talk to her? Okay.” He innocently smiled at you. “It’s for you.”

Jungkook let go of your hands, but still kept the one around your waist as you grabbed the phone. “Hello?”

“Get the black card!” Your friend automatically yelled. “It’s a once in a lifetime and It’s time for you to spend some money on yourself since you always spend money on me.”

“It makes me feel like I’m using them, though,” you mumbled and the two men glanced at one another before looking at you.

“Babe, they know you’re not using them,” Ari reassured you. “They know that. They’re offering and that means they want to spoil you. They wouldn’t have called me if they don’t want you to spoil yourself using their money.”

You sighed and looked at Jimin from under your lashes, shaking your head. “Fine… Call Eunji, too. That woman needs a shopping spree.”

“On it.”

“Tell them they need to come here,” Jimin said, making you pause. “My security will take you and be with you. We have to be careful still. We don’t know if there’s more people who Nabi hired.”

You nodded and Ari hummed. “Jimin said to tell you and Eunji to come to their house, he’s going to send the address, because security is going to take us and be with us.”

“Oh, my God,” Ari breathed out, “we’re going to have security come with us…?”

“Yes.”

“We’re gonna look so intimidating!” Ari exclaimed and Jungkook, who was still behind you, heard her loud voice. “Okay, okay. Eunji said she’s down and we’re gonna get there in a bit. I’ll get ready. Bye! Love you! And let Mr. Park know I said thank you.”

She hung up before you could let out a single word and passed the phone to Jimin. “Thank goodness I packed clothes.”

“I mean,” Jungkook spoke with a teasing tone, “you could’ve borrowed some of my clothes. Jin told me how you were wearing my shirt and even sent a picture. I loved it.”

Your face heated up and Jimin chuckled, watching as you immediately walked away towards the kitchen. “I’m going to go eat and then get ready…”

Jungkook smirked to himself as he saw your retreating figure, eyes raking themselves up and down. “If you don’t admit your feelings, I will. I can’t stand not being able to kiss her and feel everything.”

“No, I’ll confess first,” Jimin playfully pushed him before their pushing turned into trying to see who dropped who on the ground first. “I want to go eat with her!”

“You could never compare to how warm she is when we cuddle,” Jungkook smiled, playing with his lip ring as Jimin continued to push him. “Also, what happened to Nabi’s body?”

“Hobi burnt it,” Jimin answered and they both completely stopped in their tracks during that moment. “He was awake when I let him know what I had done so he dealt with it.”

“Also,” Jungkook placed his hands on his hips, breathing in and out a little as he bit his bottom lip, “we need to deal with the new worker.”

“Why?” Jimin furrowed his brows.

“He touched her,” Jungkook explained, the two of them eyeing you as you spoke with Yoongi and Hoseok, laughing with them as you three shared food. “When she tried to leave, he grabbed her wrist, wouldn’t let go until Jae noticed and then did the bitch let go.”

Jimin hummed and hid his anger when he and the youngest entered their house. “We can’t fire him. But, we need a background check, everything. I want you to call Mr. Jeong from the police station. He owes us.”

Jungkook nodded. “Results are coming in later. It was hard to track down the man’s past. Almost as if they got erased.”

“What does flower think about him?” Jimin asked, making sure you were okay with what they would do to the guy or not.

“Well, she was actually the one who let us know about him,” Jungkook answered, scratching his tattooed bicep. “Said she felt uncomfortable being around him or just seeing him. He made her paranoid.”

“I want him to be checked on,” Jimin instructed, continuing to watch you. “I’m being serious. We can’t let her get hurt. She’s very precious. I know we can’t exactly prevent any small accidents, but we could at least prevent others from hurting her. I don’t care if we have to kill half of everyone in our company, either. As long as she’s in a safe place.”

Jungkook nodded his head, agreeing with his partner’s words. “I’m just thankful she cooperated well and our security, too, and we got to bring her to a safe place. Knowing how crazy Nabi was, she might’ve hired more than one person after her.”

“And ruthless people, too,” Jimin mumbled. Namjoon stood next to them.

“We have the ones at the restaurant who fought in the basement and the one who watched her house is also there,” he told them in a low tone, not to cause any type of suspicion from you. “They’re already talking but, we need to get her out of here just in case they realize she is here.”

“We can’t hurry up,” Jungkook said, running a hand over his short hair. “Then she will be suspicious.”

“Listen, we have to keep them shut a bit longer,” Jimin said with an annoyed look on his face as he couldn’t enjoy s but more time with you. “She’s going to get ready, go to the mall, and she’ll be gone for a while. We can keep their mouths shut more than a couple of minutes. I do not want flower to know we are killing people right under us.”

“So, in conclusion, we kill those who try to hurt her?”

“Yes.”

“Good. Now hurry up and tell her you like her. I want to be next and just touch that as—”

“Jungkook!” Namjoon scolded the youngest who simply shrugged, not seeing anything wrong with his words. “Do not act so nonchalant. She’s a person, not an object.”

“I’m not saying she is,” Jungkook raised his hands mid-air. “I’m simply admiring how beautiful she is and how her body is just… oh, my God. So breathtaking.”

“I stand by that statement.”

“Get out. Both of you.”

Combined Beings (xiii)

“Dinner tonight?”

You turned to look at Ari as she spoke but you smiled a little at her. “I have dinner with Jimin later. If you want, you can come over tomorrow, watch movies, and just catch up. I miss you and I’m sorry.”

Ari chuckled at your expression. “Yeah, we need to catch up. We’ve been so busy and you,” she flicked your arm, “don’t need to apologize. I’m just happy getting your attention tomorrow.”

You shook your head at her word’s and continued doing your work, your phone buzzing here and there, knowing that the rest are probably trying to get your attention since Jin took it yesterday.

It was during the night that Hoseok had called, taking away your attention from Jin who was messily cutting away the vegetables needed for your noodles in order to make you laugh.

Let’s just say, they were all a little jealous at not being there and witnessing your shenanigans in person. You and Jin laughed and laughed and even Jimin and Jungkook had grabbed their keys in order to leave their house, going to head to yours, if it weren’t for Namjoon stopping them, claiming that you and Jin needed time alone to bond more. They agreed. So that’s why your phone kept buzzing and you didn’t mind it, it just made you work even harder so you’ll have the chance to message them back.

“And your desk is over here. If you need anything, don’t be afraid to ask me or anyone here.”

You and Ari both turn around at hearing your friend’s voice, coming to find Eunji talking with a man who bowed to her. His back was faced towards you two, but it didn’t stray away the fact that the back of his head was attractive.

When Eunji was heading towards her office, you and Ari glanced at one another before chasing after her.

“Who is that?” Ari asked as soon as you two got inside her office and Eunji looked at the two of you with an amused look, hanging up the phone she was just using. “Is that Dae-something?”

“Daeseong, Ari,” Eunji chuckled and nodded her head. “Yep, it’s him. He looks even more attractive in person than he did on photo.”

You three glanced at the man whose head turned around during the exact same time your eyes landed on him.

“He’s fucking hot!” Ari exclaimed in a hushed voice and you chuckled at your friend’s words.

“He’s cute,” you nodded your head a little, not finding any interest in the man. But, you couldn’t not admit he was attractive because he was.

“I want him,” Ari admitted and you and Eunji raised your eyebrows at her words. “I said what I said and I stand by it. He’s handsome.”

While your friend went on a tangent about wanting the poor man who didn’t know what was coming to him, Eunji looked at you.

“Mr. Park wants to see you by the way,” she said, glancing at her computer. “Says you’re not responding to your messages so he called me before you two chased after me.”

“I’ll be right back then,” you smiled at them, heading towards the elevator so you could come back and finish work while listening to Ari fan over the new worker.

As you made it to Jimin’s floor in a matter of time, you went into his office and came to see him talking to Jin and Jungkook, who smiled at you.

“Hi, flower,” Jimin stepped closer to you, kissing your forehead.

“Hi, baby,” Jungkook stepped in next, kissing your head. You smiled back at the two before waving at Jin enthusiastically, turning to stare at Jimin as he spoke.

“You weren’t answering your phone,” he explained, “figured you were busy so I called Eunji and told her to tell you to come up when you’re free. I didn’t think she’d do it as soon as I hung up.”

You chuckled. “We had went inside her office when she told me that’s why. But what did you need?”

“We actually have a present for you,” Jin spoke, sitting on the chair in front of Jimin’s desk, a smile still on his lips. You frowned.

“For me?”

“Yes, you, dummy,” Jimin snorted, a teasing smile on his own lips. He grabbed your hand and stuck his hand out towards Jungkook, who passed him something they hid from you. He looked back at you and kept his smile, placing a cold object on your skin. “We all have the same bracelet, wanted us all to have something matching. But, because of our line of work, we all promised to keep you out of danger so, the bracelet has a tracking device. Though, if you feel uncomfortable, we will take it out.”

It was your turn to smile at their gesture, eyeing the piece of the jewelry. “As much as I want to scold you all for spoiling me, I really appreciate it. I’m fine with the tracking device, too.”

Jimin’s smile reached his eyes and he patted your hand. “I’m happy you like it, flower.” He glanced at Jin. “Also, Jin told me that you two had fun yesterday.”

“We did!” You happily said. “We gardened together and then we were feeding stray cats. I wanted to make him food in order so he could feel comfortable, but he wanted to help so, I let him.”

“You two are going out tonight, right?”

“Yeah,” you nodded before glancing at the time. “Okay, I have to go. I have to continue some more documents while listening to Ari talk about the new worker and how handsome he is, so wish me luck.”

“New worker?” Jimin questioned, a frown forming on his face. You nodded again, unaware of what your words were doing to him and Jungkook. “Handsome?”

“He’s a bit handsome,” you admitted, still naive to the feelings coursing through Jimin and Jungkook’s bodies. “But, anyway, I’ll see you here during lunch or, do you want me to meet you over there?”

“Meet me over there, flower,” Jimin gave you an uptight smile, hiding his jealousy behind his words. “I have everything set up and my guards will be waiting for you in the main lobby. When you head to my restaurant, they already know who you are and they will take you to the table. That okay?”

“Yep,” you replied before turning around and heading towards the door. “Please don’t be too late. I don’t like being alone in a place you all know but I don’t. It makes it more intimidating and makes me more anxious.”

Jimin only gave you his usual smile. “I’ll be there, baby.” He didn’t seem to realize the new nickname he called you. “Don’t worry. I won’t be late.”

You hummed before waving, closing the door behind you. As soon as the three heard the door shut, they all turned to look at one another.

“Who hired the new guy?” Jungkook immediately asked. “I know for a fact it wasn’t neither of us.”

“Isn’t Namjoon in charge of choosing some new workers?” Jin questioned, making Jimin and Jungkook sigh in synch. “Wait, no. It was me. My bad.”

“Is he really attractive?” Jimin eyed Jin who thought about it and nodded very slowly. A sigh immediately fell from his lips. “If he tries anything with her, I’ll kill him. I’m not even joking.”

“You can’t exactly be jealous,” Jin pointed out, causing the youngest to look away from his gaze, knowing pretty much he would be intensely staring at them. “She’s not yours.”

“He’s right,” Jungkook breathed out. “We can’t exactly be jealous of a guy just because she claimed he was a bit handsome. She’s not ours.”

“She will be,” Jimin said, looking away from their gazes. “I’m planning on finally telling her tonight about my feelings. I can’t just see her without wanting to kiss her or literally get on my knees and tell her that whatever she says, I’ll do.”

“I understand that,” Jungkook nodded in agreement. “I swear, I want to buy her every ring or any type of jewelry. It’s become an issue. I can’t even take Tae with me because he feels the exact same way.”

“I’ll tell her tonight,” Jimin shakily let out before chuckling humorously. “I kill people and here I am, nervous about admitting my feelings.”

“Just do it right,” Jin hummed, advising him. “But don’t fuck it up either and you can’t let her down. Be there.”

Jimin nodded and he thought about the events that he wished will happen. He also thought about events that he wishes won’t happen, like you denying your own feelings and telling him you don’t feel the same.

When you appeared on your floor, you headed towards your desk where Ari was staring at the new worker. You chuckled and shook your head at her actions before sitting down.

“Stop staring at the poor guy,” you softly slapped your friends arm. She shook her head. “He just came in today and you can’t stop staring at him. I’m pretty sure he can feel your stare.”

“Good, I want him to stare at me once.”

You continued to laugh a little at your friend, turning to continue working on your computer. It wasn’t long, though, before Ari eyed the new piece of jewelry adorning your wrist.

“What?” You smiled once you saw her teasing smirk.

“They really called you up to give you jewelry,” she said. “They like you so much, it’s sickening and cute at the same time.”

“It’s so pretty,” you mumbled, playing with the bracelet. But your words fell to deaf ears once someone cleared their throat behind you. You and Ari turned around and came to face your new handsome co-worker. You smiled a bit. “Hi, Daeseong, right?”

He chuckled and nodded. “Yep. Y/n and Ari, right?” You and Ari looked at him confusedly after he told you your names. “Oh, sorry, Eunji talked about you two and how I should ask you two for some questions if any.”

“Oh,” you dragged out the word before a small smile tilted on your lips. “Okay, then! What did you need to ask?”

“Um, I’m having trouble accessing the documents needed for this week,” he scratched the back of his head nervously. “I don’t have anything coming up on the website.”

“Let me help you,” Ari immediately stood up, heading towards his desk. But he looked at you one more time, causing you to frown with a smile still on your lips, goosebumps appearing on your arms in an unpleasant way.

He walked away before smiling at you, bowing his head. He gave you one more glance but the way he kept glancing at you made you feel uncomfortable, the pit of your stomach burning with such an iffy feeling.

You shook your head to snap out of it before going back to do your work, wishing that time went by quickly so you could spend time with Jimin.

And much to your luck, time went by very quickly.

When you walked towards the main lobby and saw Jimin’s guards, about to head towards them, you were stopped by the same figure who made you uncomfortable not so long ago.

“Hi?” You questioned as Daeseong smiled at you, holding onto his bag. “Did you need anything?”

“Oh, yeah,” he nodded his head out of response. “I was wondering if…” he seemed to struggle letting out his words, “if Ari is seeing anyone since you two are friends.”

“She is single,” you smiled, feeling a bit relaxed but still having that feeling. You glanced at Jimin’s guards and they spotted you, heading your way. “But, I have to go. It was nice meeting you!”

You walked away but his hand reached for your wrist, stopping you. Jimin’s head guard immediately stepped in, taking away his hand from you. Daeseong eyed the guards before turning to look at you again, a smile forming on his lips.

“Sorry,” he backed away. “Just ask Ari if you can send me her number. I want to get to know her better.”

“She comes early for work so you can ask her then,” you gently told him, feeling less anxious now that you knew someone that Jimin trusted was by your side. “I would ask her right now but I have to go somewhere. Though, it was nice to meet you! See you.”

You walked away hurriedly with the guard and he looked down at you. “Are you okay, miss?”

“Do you get a weird feeling from him?” You asked, frown deepening more as you glanced at the figure over your shoulder, seeing him standing there, watching you.

“I do,” the guard nodded and you remembered his name as Jae, knowing that Jimin had called him that over the phone. “I’ll let Mr. Park know about his new employee.”

You hummed and he and the others led you to the car waiting for you. You went in after he opened the door and he headed towards his seat in the front.

Heading towards Jimin’s restaurant, you let out a sigh, worried now about why you were feeling that way about Daeseong even though he’d only been there for a couple of hours.

But you waved it off, shaking your head to get rid of his face from your mind.

You cleared your throat, looking down at your hands. You eyed the jewelry that was given and relaxed a little, breathing in and out.

“We will take you inside, Ms. Y/n,” Jae spoke, glancing at you. You looked at him. “Mr. Park doesn’t want us to leave you.”

“Thank you.”

As you arrived at Serendipity, you got helped out of the car like Jimin usually does. You headed inside the restaurant, ignoring the looks of those waiting outside for their turn.

You got taken to the table for you and Jimin and you continued to block out the stares of men and women situated in their own reserved tables. You sighed and rubbed your palms on your thighs, hoping to calm down your jittering hands.

“Hello,” a waiter appeared and you smiled at noticing that they seemed a bit calmer than usual. “Mr. Park wanted you to try this dish while he comes here so you won’t wait for too long.”

You nodded and got served a plate. “Thank you.”

But you sat there after a while, looking down at your phone to glance at the time. And you sat there and sat there, sighs escaping your lips once in a while, until a fight broke out. A couple against another couple, fists and slaps thrown here and there until security had to step in. But for your sake and safety, Jae and another guard came to get you.

“We need to go,” he rapidly told you. You nodded and got out of the booth and were back to being surrounded by security. “Mr. Park isn’t answering. Guards went to check on him so I have to wait for a response to know he’s okay. I’m sure he didn’t mean to be late.”

“I hope so,” you breathed out and got inside the car, staring at the restaurant and the people kicked out.

They drove off and headed towards your house, making sure to leave a couple of men behind to keep watch as they eyed a man not so far staring into your home.

There was too much going on and you were worn out, mentally and physically. You just needed Jungkook and Taehyung, who always were there to make sure you were okay while talking about their childhood.

“Hello?” Jungkook answered as soon as the phone rang.

“Hi, Jungkook.”

“Hey, baby,” he greeted, a smile on his face as he remembered Jimin’s words and how he was going to admit his feelings to you. “How was your date with Jimin?”

“Well, he didn’t show up,” you admitted and there was a pause, his breathing not even heard. “Is he okay?”

“He didn’t show up?”

“No,” you shook your head before shrugging. “I mean, I don’t mind as long as he’s okay. I had to be taken out of the restaurant, though, because a fight broke out and I don’t know if Jimin might’ve appeared.”

“A fight?” He frowned, his face hardening at the thought of you hurt. “Did you get hurt?” He let out a sigh of relief, though, when you let out a small ‘no’ at his question. “Okay, then. I’ll head over. Taehyung is… dealing with some business so it’ll be me. That okay?” You hummed. “Okay. I’ll let you know what happened to Jimin as soon as I hear what happened, okay?”

“Okay.”

“Okay, baby,” he hurried to put on a shirt and putting on his shoes, slipping them on while the other hand held his phone. “I’ll be there in a bit. Make sure the guards are taking care of—”

A buzz made you pull your phone away from your ear, a number appearing. You would’ve ignored it if it weren’t for the name after.

You opened it, ignoring Jungkook’s calls for you.

And there it was, a message from the dearest Nabi. A simple, “Heyy, Jimin let me know you had a date today but, I had to keep him behind for some stuff. Hope that’s okay :)” made your chest hurt.

“So,” you spoke, your throat closing up and you cursed yourself for feeling so emotional. Jimin could do as he pleased, “Nabi just texted me saying that Jimin is with her.”

There was silence again and Jungkook let out a harsh sigh. “I’ll be there asap.”

He hung up and you ignored the message, getting to cleaning some parts of your house as a way to distract yourself. You couldn’t let Nabi get the satisfaction that her message hurt you in a way. Jimin isn’t yours. Yes, you like him, but it wasn’t something that you should let affect you.

So when Jungkook comes over, you’ll cuddle with him and watch movies and go to sleep, maybe order out.

“Miss,” the door opened and you saw Jae there, a stoic expression on his face. “Mr. Jeon advised us to keep you some company inside so no one will get in.”

You nodded and continued cleaning, his presence not bothering you in the slightest, but the silence was indeed bothering you.

“Mr. Jae,” you spoke, “do you have a family?”

He was caught off-guard by you speaking to him but he nodded. “I do. I have a wife and two kids, a 15-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy.”

You smiled as he answered your question, and then did you create small conversation with him, getting go know the one who took care of all the boys, rotating between the 7 and today, it was Jimin.

You two continued to talk, getting to know the personal life of the man and eyeing the way he seemed to lighten up when he spoke about his wife and kids.

A knock broke you two out of your thoughts and mid-convo and Jungkook and Namjoon walked in, heading your way, and you waved at Jae as he walked out, giving you three privacy. But, Namjoon had stopped him, wanting details as to what happened, and they both went outside.

Jungkook hugged you as soon as he reached you, his hands traveling down the back of your legs to prop you into his arms, your legs wrapping around his waist.

“We’ll go on a date tomorrow, yeah?” He whispered in your ear, you nodded as his hands rubbed up and down your thighs. “I’ll spoil the fuck out of you. Whatever you want.”

You chuckle and shook your head. “Stop spoiling me.”

“But, my love language is gift giving,” he whined a little and you snorted. “It will make me happy. Don’t you like it when I’m happy?”

“You can’t use that against me,” you groan, pulling away as he placed you back on the floor. He smirked at you and then did you give in, trying so hard not to eye the way the shirt he was wearing hugged him so tightly and his arms flexed simultaneously as he still had them wrapped around your waist. “Fine. I’ll let you spoil me if… I get to give you gifts, too.”

He smiled in satisfaction, hands traveling underneath the hem of your shirt, thumbs rubbing the skin.

“Deal. We’ll go tomorrow.”

You two stood there for a few seconds before Namjoon came back from being outside. He looked like he had been woken up, face swollen, and hair disheveled.

“I’m sorry for Jimin leaving you alone, beautiful,” Namjoon said, hugging you next. You hugged him and you had to ignore the way you could feel his muscles under the shirt, too, relishing in the warmth of his body. “We tried calling him but he hasn’t responded. We have to wait until he comes home, which you’re doing. You’re coming home with me.”

“I-” You looked at him with a confused. “Why? What’s going on?”

“I want you to be better protected tonight,” Namjoon answered. “All of the things that have been happening, they shouldn’t be a coincidence. Nabi, the restaurant, the person staring at you outside. You’re coming with us so we could protect you more, okay?”

You sighed and nodded slowly. “Okay.” You, however, thought back to your co-worker. “Wait, what about the new person working in my division?”

“What about him?” Jungkook immediately stood straight at the mention of the man.

“It’s just… I get a bad feeling about him. He stopped me from leaving to tell him if Ari is single or not. When I tried to leave, he grabbed me until Jae had to step in.”

“I’m gonna kill him,” Jungkook breathed out, running a hand over his hair. “I told you, double background check.”

Namjoon glanced at Jungkook before eyeing you. “Hey, I’ll check in on him, again, okay? But I can’t promise you anything. I’ll up your security. You’re going to need it, especially since you’ve been seen hanging out with us.”

“This is all just overwhelming,” you admitted and they both nodded, agreeing that if they were in your shoes, they, too, would be incredibly overwhelmed.

“Listen, let just go and grab anything you need, okay? We’ll take you to work and we’ll drop you off wherever you need.”

You nodded and went to grab your things, heading towards the two as soon as everything was packed securely in your bag.

It wasn’t long before you made it to their home. You were shocked per se, as their house was huge, especially the garden they had. The gate in front was heavily guarded by so many men. You were shocked but you were also heavily tired so you left off the comments out of awe for later.

You don’t remember much but you got taken to a room, where Jungkook had carried you in, laying by your side. Namjoon had also stayed, his body much more warmer than Jungkook’s.

When Jimin came home, he was fuming. He was angry and it was with Nabi and himself.

“Where have you been?” Hoseok asked as soon as he eyed the person coming into view in the living room. “You left Y/n alone.”

“Nabi threatened to kill her,” Jimin spat out, taking off his blazer in an angry matter and throwing it against the couch harshly. “I had to stay behind while she spoke all this shit and saying she knows where she lives and that if I left to be with her, she already had someone in my restaurant looking for her.”

“Where’s Nabi?” Hoseok asked as Jimin continued to throw off everything out of rage. “Jimin.”

“I killed her,” Jimin replied. “I had to. She fucking ruined everything I had planned just because she believed she still owns us? Yeah, I wasn’t going to let her live. Not when she threaten Y/n and you guys.”

“Where’s her body?” Hoseok questioned, standing up as he prepared to make sure no evidence was left behind.

“It’s in the back of the car I came in,” Jimin said, fists clenching and unclenching. “It’s still in the front.”

Hoseok nodded before he looked at Jimin. “If you explain the situation to Y/n, she won’t be mad. But, let her know it had nothing to do with her.”

“I’ll go tomorrow to her house.”

“She’s actually here,” Jimin’s head snapped towards Hoseok who was already heading out. “She’s sleeping with Namjoon and Jungkook. Try to convince one of them to switch places with you.”

“I will.”

“What do you want, Nabi?”

Jungkook kept his composure as he stared at the woman in front of him smiling at him. He wanted to grab his gun from behind, shoot her so he won’t see her face ever again, but he had to keep you safe. He had to keep you away from Nabi’s eyesight and words because she will try to belittle you.

“Hey,” she tilted her head to the side as she looked you up and down and Jungkook stood in her way, making her stare at him with amusement, “I’m Nabi.”

“Do not talk to her,” Jungkook snapped and Nabi rolled her eyes, sitting down in front of you two. She glanced at Jungkook.

“Are you going to sit down or not?”

You watched as Jungkook’s hand reached behind him and saw the gun under the light of his office he was going to reach. You grabbed his free hand that was formed into a fist, making him stare back at you. His eyes softened at remembering he and the others promised not to display violence in front of you. He knew he had to keep everything in him in order for you to be safe. You had to be safe.

Nabi watched the interaction. She couldn’t help but feel annoyed at how he was protecting you, his hand finding its way to your thigh. She hurt them, wounded them, so why were they getting closer to you? Did she not leave much of an impact on them?

“I’m surprised you got access to get in,” Jungkook said, his tone calm as he gripped your thigh. You softly cleared your throat as you watched Nabi and the way she eyed you. “What are you doing here?”

“I just wanted to visit,” the woman answered, hiding her feelings behind her lies. She turned to look at you again. “What’s your name?”

“Do not speak to her,” Jungkook sternly said and you glanced between them, knowing it was best to stay quiet unless the boys told you it was fine. You didn’t know what type of person Nabi was, they knew her better. “I’m not kidding, Nabi.”

“I’m not going to do anything, Jungkook,” she rolled her eyes. “Relax.” She looked at you again and Jungkook scoffed. “What’s your name?”

You turned to look at Jungkook and he nodded. “My name’s Y/n.”

“Are you a worker here?” She asked and Jungkook glared at her, a deadpan expression on his face to showcase that he wasn’t kidding about how he was feeling about her talking to you. She smiled in a mocking way. “It’s very cute how they protect you. Are you sleeping with them?”

You noted the way she kept smiling, dragging out words that were clearly lies. She was such a beautiful girl and if she wasn’t such a bad person, you wished you had her as a friend. In the meantime, you could only show her that her words weren’t affecting you. You couldn’t show her that you were being affected by her words and will be affected if she speaks more.

“I’m not,” you smiled a little at her, placing a hand on top of Jungkook’s own so he could grip it instead of the skin of your thigh. But, he had his own thoughts as he continued gripping the flesh, hard enough for him to feel and soft enough for you to not be hurt. “I’m simply someone that got to know them.”

“Well, honey,” she got closer as if she were going to tell you a secret, “be careful. If you work for them and they find you attractive, they’ll sleep with you and try to fire you later when they’re done using you.”

Jungkook’s fingers shook as Nabi continued to speak, clearly trying her hardest to affect you and affect him.

“Jimin got closer to me first,” she went on. “He took me on friendly dates that then turned into dates, he called me pet names, protected me, and when he finally asked me out, they asked me out, too. It’s crazy, huh? To withhold such power knowing that your boyfriends, who are CEOs of the biggest company, can make anyone disappear in a flash if you ask.”

“Nabi, that’s enough,” Jungkook said, his lips then tightly pressing against one another to not let out any more words.

“I genuinely liked Jimin,” Nabi held eye-contact with you, glancing down at her freshly painted nails. “He was a good guy, a good boyfriend, but… they all started to ignore me, getting bored of me, and they will with you, too. They have one another and they have for years, they will realize soon into the relationship they don’t want you, they have enough. They’ll ignore you until you will leave.”

“Did that happen to you?” You asked and she snorted, shaking her head.

“They started ignoring me,” she answered. “I didn’t care. But, don’t let them fool you, Y/n. They’ve been in a relationship for years. They’re not gonna know how to handle a person they just met.” She eyed the way Jungkook grabbed you. “A word of advice, though, don’t let them touch you like that if you’re just their friend. That’s how they start.”

Jungkook’s hold loosened and you mentally sighed. You just fixed things with Jimin and now your overthinking was coming into play, and you knew that it will make you distance yourself.

“Get out,” Jungkook grumbled out, knowing that her words affected you. He stood up and headed towards his desk. “Get out before I call security.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Nabi waved him off and she looked at you one more time. “I’ll see you soon, Y/n. It will be nice knowing you in the future.”

“You’ll never see her again, Nabi,” Jungkook didn’t spare her a glance as he spoke, but he did arch an eyebrow once she turned her head to eye him. She rolled her eyes.

“Be careful with them,” Nabi spoke loudly as she walked away, “they have never dated anyone that has your body shape.”

The door closed behind her as she walked out and the only thing heard was yours and Jungkook’s breathing. He looked at you but your eyesight was on your fingers, fidgeting with them.

“Y/n,” he breathed out but you shook your head and smiled a little at him, hoping not to worry him too much.

“I’ll get going,” you said, standing up. He walked towards you. “I have dinner with Ari and her mom and I can’t miss that dinner. I’ve missed enough.”

“Don’t listen to her,” he mumbled, grabbing your hand. You smiled sadly at him.

“It’s hard not to, Jungkook,” you said under your breath, knowing he understood you by the look on his face. You dropped his hand and walked away, hearing him sigh.

The person who talked to you was Nabi. Nabi their ex-girlfriend. The one who hurt them. So, why were her words getting to you? Because you knew that no one would like you because of your weight? Because you knew that men in South Korea preferred those who fit the beauty standards? It’s hard when someone tells you that you can’t have what you want after your friends have told you the opposite.

“Flower, you okay?”

Too into your thoughts, you had waited until the elevator’s doors opened, waiting for your turn, that you hadn’t noticed Jimin in front of you. He stared at you with a look of concern, worried.

“Don’t worry about me,” you mumbled, keeping a smile on your face. His brows were furrowed, fully knowing your words were lies. “I have to cancel our plans. I just… I hope you understand.”

He couldn’t say much but, he watched as you kept your gaze on the floor, pressing the button to the floor you worked on, and then the doors closing right in front of his face. He turned to look at Jungkook’s assistant who looked anywhere but him.

“Who was here?” He sternly asked and the woman looked at the papers in front of her.

“A woman named Nabi.”

That’s all he needed to hear to know that something went wrong. He hurried towards Jungkook’s office, opening it, and heading inside. He closed the door behind him and saw that Jungkook was sitting by his desk, face burried in his palms.

“What happened?” Jimin questioned and Jungkook sighed loudly. “Your assistant just told me Nabi was here.”

“She was,” Jungkook said, leaning back on his chair, staring at the ceiling. “She told her all these horrible things. I couldn’t say anything. I couldn’t defend us.”

Jimin couldn’t say anything, either. But, he walked towards Jungkook and hugged him, knowing that was all he needed.

They stayed in the position they were in for 20 minutes or so, having headed towards the couch, before the door open, the others pouring in. Jin came in first, followed by Namjoon, followed by Taehyung, and followed by Yoongi and Hoseok. Jin was seething, especially by the way the tips of his ears glistened with red and the way his eyes looked everywhere for the certain figure of the woman who hurt them.

“Where’s Y/n?” Yoongi asked, remembering from Taehyung’s words that you had been taken away by Jungkook.

“She left,” Jimin said, eyeing the clock and knowing that you already left the building. “Jungkook said Nabi told her some things.”

“I told you we should’ve killed her as soon as we caught her in the act!” Jin exclaimed, running a hand over his hair before taking off his blazer. “She’s not going to let any of us, any of you, be happy with Y/n. This is a good example on why we should’ve killed her.”

“I agree with Jin,” Yoongi piped in, nodding his head along the man’s words. Hoseok hummed in agreement, too.

“I don’t have any feelings for her and she deserves it.”

“Yeah and it’s a shitty one,” Namjoon said, giving them glares. “We cannot kill her just because she did us wrong. That’s not the type of people we are.”

“She’s done worse, Namjoon,” Jin argued and he sighed. “You know what? Fine. But, this time, I’m going to talk to Y/n. You assholes need to think about this and how Nabi is going to ruin anything you all want with her.”

He walked away and everyone stared after him, silence consuming them once they realized what his words. Namjoon sighed.

“Nabi didn’t just hurt us,” he started, glancing at each one of their faces. “She stole from other people. Single mother’s, homeless people, whichever. We’ve been focusing way too much on how she’s wronged us, we didn’t realize that her actions have impacted others very harshly.”

“I’ll call who we know that if they see her to bring her to us,” Yoongi spoke, grabbing his phone before leaving the room. The others then turned to look at Namjoon again as he was going to start orders.

“In the meantime,” he said, staring at Jungkook, “what did she tell y/n?”

“She started off by saying that since she’s someone who works for us and if we find her attractive,” everyone listened to Jungkook’s words very closely, “we’ll sleep with her and try to fire her later when we’re “done using her”. She just went on a rant about how she needs to be careful letting us touch her if we’re just going to keep her a friend and even said she’ll see her in the future.”

“I want to kill her,” those words escaped from Jimin’s lips, a serious expression on his face as his chest heaved up and down to calm himself.

“This is where y/n changed,” Jungkook went on. He took a deep breath. “Nabi told her that she needs to be careful because we’ve never never dated anyone that has her body shape.”

The silence was deafening. If anyone listened too closely, they would hear a pin dropping. If anything, they could hear the emotions bubbling in each one of them, especially Jimin.

Jimin was seriously going to kill Nabi. He was going to kill her if no one stopped him right then and there and held him back. He was going to kill her. He really was.

Taehyung immediately went to grab him from behind, noticing his change of features and attitude. “You need to hold yourself, Jimin.”

“She can’t be far,” Jimin scoffed, referring to Nabi. “I need my gun.”

While the boys calmed Jimin down, Jin was on his way to your house. It took a bit of convincing from Yoongi (he made him tell him “please” and then he would get the address) but Jin successfully got it. It wasn’t that far from your house.

When he came to see the house with the right numbers, he eyed the amount of plants littered on the front. There were even some cats eating some food obviously left out for them. He walked right up the stairs, fixing the sleeves of his shirt before knocking on the wooden door.

“What are you doing here?” He turned his head to the side and saw you there, holding some plants in your hand. Your professional clothes were long gone and you were wearing some shorts and a shirt that Jungkook had left behind. His guards immediately their guns at you and you glanced at them, groaning under your breath. “I’m the owner of this house.”

Jin watched you, nodding his head at the ones taking care of his back. But, he remembered you had talked to him. “I just wanted to come by and see you.” You frowned out of confusion and nodded your head slowly.

“Well, now you saw me and you can leave,” you walked off and he stared at you with a mouth agape. He quickly followed after you. “Who even gave you my address? I specified that I didn’t want you to know.”

“Don’t worry about that,” he waved you off but he grabbed your wrist, stopping you from moving forward. “We need to talk.” You have him a deadpan look and he continued. “Jungkook mentioned that Nabi talked to you.”

“Ah, yes,” you breathed out and you continued to do your thing. You got on your knees and looked up at him. “If you expect me to answer to you, you can help me.”

He thought about it and he went with it once he knew he couldn’t catch your attention. So he too got on his knees, his pants and hands getting dirty. He helped you plant some things you needed, glancing at you once in a while once he saw you were obviously thinking about something.

“Nabi… is not a great person,” Jin started and when you looked at him, he dodged your eyes once he felt your stare. “It was true what I told you at the restaurant by the way. How it ended, I do feel sorry about that.” Now it was your turn to ignore his gaze. “You shouldn’t feel hurt by her words or whatever she told you. That’s her goal, that’s what she intends to do.”

“What hurt the most is that…” You debated whether you should be honest with him. “I’m not the standard. I’m not. I don’t normally feel insecure, but it’s just bullying after bullying as if my body shape isn’t normal to have.” He watched as you stopped what you were doing, taking a seat. “Nabi is beautiful, she is. She’s insanely beautiful and I understand why the guys fell for her, I would even fall for her.”

He chuckled lowly and nodded his head slowly. “Good to know.”

“It’s just hard,” you admitted, letting out a sigh. “Sometimes it’s hard to live here when even my own mother criticizes my own body or I can’t go somewhere by myself or a guy tries to grab my ass. I’m either sexualized or hated on. It’s hard.”

“And Nabi didn’t help?”

“I fell for Jimin,” you admitted, chuckling sarcastically as you found the situation ironic. “For everyone. Well, except you… You’ve done nothing but hurt my feelings.”

He looked at the way your cheeks heated up and he placed a hand on your arm. “You’ve done nothing but been nice to me and I apologize for hurting you when you only wanted to get to know me.” You watched as he leaned against his hands. “It’s hard taking care of 6 boys whose hearts have been broken by a girl who had just come into our relationship. It’s scary to know how easily they can get hurt by other people brought into our relationship, and it’s up to me to take care of us because I can handle heartbreak.”

“You were protecting them from me?” You asked and he hummed.

“I didn’t know your intentions, and I know it’s not a right excuse,” he snorted and continued, “but they become attached very easily. Their hearts are kind and it’s funny since, you know… what we do for work.” You chuckled at his words. “But, I needed to be there to keep them in check, to let them know that they’ve been hurt and they shouldn’t make the same mistake as before work Nabi.”

“We could’ve talked,” you whispered to him and he nodded.

“I know,” he mumbled. “But it’s hard for me to express my own emotions since I’m always so focused on the others emotions. I don’t really care for mine.”

You eyed his sensitivity and the way he couldn’t make eye contact with you. He was fidgeting with his fingers, nervous and anxious.

“It’s going to be a long road of me forgiving you,” you admitted and he nodded, “but I’m willing to start a new friendship with you.”

His head snapped towards you and a small smile tainted his lips. He took out a dirty hand and you did, too, shaking his.

“Now,” he started, looking around, “why are you planting when the sun is setting?”

You snickered. “When I get stressed or I’m just angry, I just plant. Plants are very much alive but, at least, they don’t have mouths to piss me off even more or to make me more anxious.”

“Are you the type of person to compliment them?”

“I-” You immediately sat up. “They grow more! Do not judge. If I want to call them pretty, they shall be called pretty. I will give them all the praise if they need that in order to grow.”

He chuckled at your defense. “Good to know. I’ll make sure to buy you more plants then?” You raised an eyebrow his way. “I have a lot of money, I can give you any type of plants. Just tell me which ones you want and I’ll buy them for you?”

“Are you sure?” You asked and he nodded.

“As long as we plant them together, it seems calming,” he answered and you smiled at this new him. You were just happy now he was opening up to him. “But, I also wanted to add… You’re honestly beautiful, Y/n. I’m serious. Nabi is pretty on the outside, but she’s nothing but trash in the inside. You are beautiful on the outside and inside and that’s what makes you stand out. I speak for the boys, but they’ll choose you over her any day and any time.”

You smiled a bit bigger at his words. “Thanks, Jin. But, if my feelings ever make you feel uncomfortable, I will stop hanging out with them. Just tell me the word.”

He laughed at your expression, so serious. “Y/n, I’m not worried. If anything, it would be a privilege to fall for you.”

You noted the way his gaze didn’t stray away this time you looked at him. “I promise I won’t hurt them and I won’t hurt you.” He simply looked at you and you couldn’t look away, either. You couldn’t. “Thank you for being here.”

“I will take it as long as you go to dinner with Jimin tomorrow. He’s mad at what Nabi told you.”

You smiled at his words and nodded. “I’ll call him later tonight while I make you dinner.”

“I’ll help you.”

What the hell did you do?”

Jungkook and Taehyung appeared into the kitchen where Jimin, Namjoon, and Jin were talking in, conversing about the issue that had just happened not so long ago.

Jimin knew that the two would eventually found out what had happened since you texted them regularly, too. He could only imagine how shaken up you are, freaking out about what had happened and the way they killed people.

But the people they killed weren’t innocent. Not when they had kidnapped children for the benefit of their own boss who had wanted money out of the children’s parents. That’s why they had to do what they needed to do when they found out who had made reservations.

“You put her in danger!” Jungkook exclaimed before glaring at Jimin. “You can’t say you have genuine feelings for her when you do this.”

“I had to do this,” Jimin sternly spoke, slamming the counter. “It had to be done. I planned everything for her in order to make sure she was safe, I didn’t plan for her to see me kill someone.”

“It’s not about her seeing you,” Taehyung said, shaking his head. “It’s about her being caught in between of whatever business you two had when she simply wanted a genuine apology from Jin.”

“I did mean my apology,” Jin breathed out, staring at his partners. He couldn’t help but go back to Jungkook’s words, glancing at Jimin. “You like her?”

Jimin sighed and closed his eyes, rubbing the skin of his forehead with the fingers that contained the rings you always played with. “Why are you two even awake? You’re usually asleep by this time.”

“We’re going to see her,” Jungkook answered, picking up a jacket he had left on the couch. “She doesn’t want to be alone, especially because someone followed her home.”

“Someone followed her home?” Namjoon asked, his brows furrowing together and Taehyung hummed. “I warned you both if she was seen with any of you, she will be targeted. I warned you, did I not?”

“Look, at least we managed to get some of them,” Jin defended himself and Jimin. “We have been on their asses for so long and we needed to do this in order to get what we lost. We cannot let a girl step between us and our business.”

“That’s the problem,” Jimin breathed out, placing his hands on the counter that allowed him to set his weight on them, “she’s not just a girl to any of us, Jin. She is so much more. Namjoon is right and you know it, too. She could’ve been hurt, or worst, dead. You saw how kind she is… I saw it when you easily conversed with her.”

Jin didn’t say anything. Namjoon glanced between everyone before he let out a sigh. He turned to look at Jungkook and Taehyung.

“Be careful,” he raised his brows with a stern voice. “I’m serious. Take your weapons and have guards guarding her house. I don’t want you three to be in danger.”

“We will.”

Jimin could only feel such a heavy weight in the pit of his stomach, turning around to head towards the bathroom as quietly as he could since Hoseok and Yoongi were already cuddling and sleeping.

“Is it true?” He looked up and saw Jin’s figure behind him on the mirror. “You like her?”

Jimin knew he couldn’t get away with it so he nodded slowly. “I do… It’s nothing compared to what I felt for Nabi. It’s much more stronger and the connection I have with Y/n isn’t forced at all. I feel as safe with her as I feel with you all.”

“Listen,” Jin mumbled, stepping closer, “just be careful, okay? Do not pressure her into telling you anything. She will most likely not tell you her feelings since she knows you’re with us and she might not want to make any of us uncomfortable. Just be there for her just like you’re already doing right now.”

“You liked her, too,” Jimin smiled at him softly, rubbing the moisturizer on his face, eyeing Jin. “You have to admit, she just radiates such energy.”

“I liked her,” Jin agreed, nodding his head. “She’s a good girl. You see, I agreed with the plan because I didn’t like her and I didn’t care about her, but I see what you see in her. She’s very kind and she’s a great listener, too. I do regret what happened, but it’s better we did what we did or else more children were to be hurt and more people would be dead.”

Jimin couldn’t help but let out a sigh. Jin was right. But he still felt guilty about what you had felt and the feelings you were going through. He can’t shake away the way you looked at him after he found you. He never wished for you to see that part of him so early on when you two had gotten so comfortable with physical touch. Now, he already knew you were going to avoid him or, you won’t talk to him anymore.

He grabbed his phone.

Minnie ❤️ : I’m sorry for what you had to see today. I don’t want to apologize over text since I want you to hear it from my own lips and I want to explain it all so, let’s talk whenever you want ❤️

You stared at the message and you felt such pain in the pit of your stomach. You couldn’t help but already feel bad for telling them to leave you alone but, it was scary what you had witnessed. And it sucked that Jin didn’t mean any of the words he had told you.

You recounted what you had gone through on your way back home and you shuddered, immediately locking everything in your house at the idea of that person coming back.

When you were walking home, then did you notice that Jin’s restaurant was very far from your home. It was turning dark and your heart hammered against your chest once you heard pattering footsteps behind you. You didn’t think much of it but it started making you anxious when you would cross a street and the person behind you would quickly follow. You didn’t need any of this crap since you just saw a person you were close to kill someone right in front of you. You didn’t want to deal with a random person stalking you.

That’s why you called the second person you were close to.

“Hello?”

“Hey, Jungkook,” you said very loudly, glancing at the person behind you. “Hey, so you have my location, right?”

“Yeah, I believe so,” Jungkook hummed and he furrowed his eyebrows once he could tell that you were purposely talking out loud. “What’s going on?”

“There’s a person following me,” you mumbled, loud enough for him to hear. You cleared your throat before speaking loudly again, “But, yeah, just meet me at this restaurant. They know me very well so just meet me there.”

“I’ll be there in a bit. Stay on call with me until you’re in a safe place, okay?” You hummed and silence was heard. “Wait, weren’t you just with Jin and Jimin?”

“I was,” you continued to talk while walking, making sure you were aware of your surroundings. “I just… I just witnessed Jimin and Jin kill people. I don’t care if you’re in it or anything, if you’re in a gang whatever, I just feel very, very scared.”

You heard the silence and heard him letting out a mutter of curses. “Those assholes… I’ll be right there with Taehyung. Please be safe, I’ll still stay on call.”

You could hear him moving on the other line, rustling heard here and there. You could see a restaurant coming up and you recognized it as the one who was close to your house, hurrying your steps in order to reach it and get away from the man who quickly followed behind.

Thankfully, you had seen one of your old friend’s from school. It seemed almost like a miracle when she recognized you and introduced you to her boyfriend. After catching up, you had asked them if they could give you a ride, which they so kindly agreed to. Jungkook wasn’t on call since he heard you with people you clearly knew, but he was still watching your location very closely, making sure that your location was now in the safety of your home.

He had told Taehyung to come with him, both of them heading your way when they encountered the men who put you in a bad situation.

After that encounter, they headed your way. It didn’t take long and they both told their bodyguards to guard the house while they went to be with you, their guns on the side of their waists, waiting to be taken out if they needed to be.

“Angel,” Taehyung knocked on the door, alerting you.

You quickly went to open the door and they looked at you, eyeing your expression and if you were in any type of harm. As Jungkook opened his mouth to talk, you cut him off, your arms going around his neck as he was the one closest to you, giving him a big hug.

He could feel you shaking in his arms and he knew you wouldn’t let go, so he raised you in his arms, your legs going around his waist with his hands resting underneath your thighs.

Taehyung nodded at the look he was given by the youngest, closing the front door, and opening the door to your room since it had a pendant on the front that alerted them it was yours.

“Hey, you’re okay,” Jungkook rubbed the skin of your thighs, the shorts that you usually wore to sleep riding up a bit. “You’re safe. You have us.”

“It was so scary,” you mumbled into his neck, feeling him place you down on the middle of your bed. Taehyung followed after, taking off his shoes and sweater as he went to sit by your side, pushing away hair that fell on your face. “I just wanted to enjoy dinner with Jin since he’s your guys’ boyfriend and I wanted to make sure he was comfortable around me.”

“I know, baby,” Taehyung muttered, running a hand over your hair softly. You ignored the way his new nickname for you made you feel. “Listen, we want to explain everything but we need all of us to explain it to you, okay? I know you don’t want to see Jimin or Jin but you’re going to have to talk to them in order to understand what’s been going on.”

“I want to give you a warning,” Jungkook spoke as he was also taking off his sweater, his tattoo sleeve catching your attention as you didn’t think his entire arm would be filled with art, “Jimin will try to talk to you. Yes, he’s going to tell you he’s sorry and he’ll give you time but Jimin is very… attached. He will come to you personally and apologize.”

“Should I be worried?” You frowned and Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head, laying down next to you.

“No,” he said. “Also, um, Namjoon was there so, expect him to apologize to you, too.”

“I just want to ask something,” you breathed out and they both looked at you since you were sandwiched between them. “Are you guys in a gang…?”

Taehyung snorted and he shrugged. “I will say this but I need your phone.” You gave it to him and he shut it off, you three watching it shut down. “We’re in a mafia. I know it’s not an easy thing to say or to process, but it’s been something we’ve been part of for years now and that’s why you saw Jimin and Jin kill someone.”

You stayed quiet and they leaned a bit forward in synch to make sure you were okay. You looked off in shock, mouth agape while your breath moved up and down.

“Oh, my God,” you whisper, glancing between the two. “Oh, my God!” You ran a hand over your face. “Are you guys going to be killed?”

Jungkook grabbed your hand. “No, angel. I’m pretty sure we’re not going to die. Listen, we’re telling you because the man that followed you might’ve seen you with one of us and took the chance to get you. From now on, you’re coming with either one of us, okay? We’re not going to let anyone harm you, especially if it’s because of us.”

“I could’ve died?” You exclaimed and Taehyung grabbed your other hand, kissing the back of it, something he would usually do to the others if they were ever stressed. “I’m going to die.”

“Don’t think like that,” Taehyung hummed, softly glaring at you. “You’re not doing to die. But please, take some guards right now to check on you and your house. It’ll help us feel better or we’ll sleep here and take turns.”

“I’m still processing the news you just dropped on me,” you muttered, looking at him from under your lashes and he softly smiled at you. “You look like you don’t harm a fly.”

He chuckled. “I’ve done worse. But, I don’t want you to see us in that light, okay? Jimin and Jin did a big, big mistake by allowing you to be in that situation, vulnerable. I know all you wanted was an apology from Jin.”

“Well, yeah,” you nodded, looking straight ahead as they situated themselves in a position where they could fully pay attention to you. “It made me uncomfortable being told that I made everything up just to get money from you all. I had been dealing with Iseul’s harassment since I started this job and at the end, it got out of hand because she saw me with Jimin.”

“Iseul was and is a bitch,” Jungkook huffed and you looked at him, his eyes meeting yours. “Sorry, it’s just… we have known her for years. She used to bully half of us but she took it out on me and Jimin the most. When we started growing our business more and more, she wanted to be included in our relationship, which is why her stepdad compromised with us.”

“We didn’t want Iseul to work in our company,” Taehyung continued. “But, her dad’s own business was lacking and no one knows this but, he started going bankrupt. He’s a nice guy, a nice mentor, so we gave his stepdaughter a chance to work with us while he was given some of our shipment to sell.”

You sighed and got closer to Taehyung, your face resting on his chest. He smiled at your affectionate side, glancing at Jungkook who had a faint of a smile on his lips.

“Go to sleep,” Jungkook whispered in your ear. You nodded and he wrapped an arm around your waist, their warmth lulling you to sleep. “We’ll talk more tomorrow if you want. You dealt with a lot today, angel.”

“Goodnight, baby.”

It wasn’t long before you went to sleep, soft snores escaping your lips. Jungkook watched as Taehyung moved, trying to grab his phone.

“You’re going to wake her up, Tae,” Jungkook said, continuing to watch his movements with amusement. Taehyung simply didn’t respond, letting out a small “aha” once he got the object he was looking for.

He stuck it out in front of him, taking a picture of his chin and you sleeping on his chest. He grinned once he saw how cute you looked, chuckling a bit deviously as he sent it to Jimin.

My love ❤️: your fuckups made me a lucky man. I get to cuddle her haha 🫵🏼🤣

Jungkook laughed a little at his words, his eyes trailing down your face. His slender fingers moved the strands away from your face, smiling a little at the way you scrunched your nose when your hair tickled it.

“She really is beautiful,” Jungkook mumbled as if he and Taehyung were sharing secrets amongst themselves, bodies molding with yours as if they were missing pieces of a puzzle. “I don’t even want to taint her with the evilness that comes with this job.”

“As kind as her soul is,” Taehyung started, “I know there’s a crazy spirit inside of her. After telling her what we are apart of, she didn’t look at us like we were monsters. If anything, she’s worried about us dying instead of us killing others.”

Jungkook nodded and let out a breath, continuing to watch you. His hand ran itself on the skin of your arm, noticing the goosebumps rising in its wake. He just watched.

Yes, you two have texted, but it was never enough in his opinion. There were sent here and there on an occasion, but it wasn’t a lot. He could tell you preferred talking because as soon as he would be in Jimin’s office and you were there, you would chat and it was enough for him.

He knew your troubles, personally. The mother who shouldn’t have the title of one and the sister who lived in the States. Your father, he knew, wasn’t one to be in the picture, but you had told him that despite your father having another family, he reached out once in a while to check up on you.

He also knew your favorite color. You wore it as a nail polish that he noticed you always chipped. You wore the color usually on Friday’s and you usually wore your hair down on that day, too.

He noticed you but Jungkook was quiet. He eyed details and let his mind run but not his mouth. He enjoyed everything around him in silence and wore a face that showed no emotion in order to not let people break him away from his thoughts. You didn’t know that he noticed such things, but that’s why he always stared at you.

He loved staring at you.

And that was his last thought, the thought of wanting to know every single thing about you while his fingers itched to touch every single part of you.

You woke up the next day to such warmth. Your body was heating up and the blanket over your body wasn’t helping.

You opened your eyes and suppressed the gasp threatening to escape your lips once you saw Jungkook’s face directly in front of yours. A hand of his was on top of your hip while Taehyung who was behind you had his arm wrapped entirely around your waist, palm resting neatly against your stomach.

You relished in the comfort of their bodies close to you and closed your eyes, but before you knew it, fingers touched your face. You opened your eyes and Jungkook’s own met yours, a small smile forming on his face.

“Good morning, angel.”

“Good morning,” you mumbled, a smile also forming on your lips.

“Did you sleep well?” He asked, moving the strand that fell on your face behind your ear. You nodded.

“I slept like a baby,” you responded. “You guys are so warm so I felt like I had a heater on and it was so nice. Thank you for staying with me.”

“It’s nothing, pretty girl,” he said and he moved from his place, standing up. Then did you notice that he wasn’t wearing a shirt, displaying the muscle and scars all over his chest and stomach. His arms flexed as he put on his shirt back on and you looked away, your body aching to stretch so trying your hardest not to wake Taehyung, you caught Jungkook’s attention.

Making grabby hands, he chuckled lowly once he understood what you were trying to do. He grabbed your hands and helped you up slowly, getting your body away from Taehyung’s grasp.

“He’s so strong,” you breathed out, looking down at where your stomach was being held, noticing the marks of the bracelets that surrounded the sleeping man’s wrist. Jungkook agreed and when you turned to put on your slippers, you eyed an object that made you gasp. “Is that a gun?”

Jungkook looked at your line of sight and nodded. “We have to be protected at all times so we both brought guns just in case you were in danger or anything. I’ll put it away if it makes you uncomfortable.”

You nodded and he grabbed his gun, placing it one of the drawers from your nightstand, making sure it wasn’t loaded. He gave you a look and you nodded yet again, turning around to leave your room. He followed quickly behind.

“I can make breakfast,” you suggested before eyeing the figures outside your home. “Are your bodyguards hungry?” Jungkook didn’t respond and you turned to give him a look. “I’ll go ask and you’re going to buy food.”

“Angel,” he groaned and you crossed your arms, giving him a serious expression. Though, he couldn’t take you serious when you just looked so adorable, your face swollen a bit from having woken up and the way you also looked pretty hot in shorts and a t-shirt. He sighed as he watched you leave.

He watched you open the door, sticking your head out. “Are you guys hungry?” They all didn’t say anything, obviously not knowing if they should answer to you.

Jungkook snorted and turned around. “Fine, fine. I’ll go buy breakfast.”

He put on his shoes and grabbed his gun, too, making sure to leave it with one of his guards to hold while he was in your home. He walked out of the house and turned to look at his men.

“Boss?” One of them called out and he looked at him.

“Prep the car,” he simply instructed and the man nodded without question, doing so. Jungkook turned to look at the rest. “Send me your favorite breakfast orders. I got told by such an amazing angel that I need to buy all of you food.”

They all chuckled at his words and the leader of the bodyguards there, smiled. “I’ll send you a message, sir.”

“Look after them and if she wants something, listen to her,” Jungkook pointed back at the door. “She better not get a single scratch on her body under your watch. If I even see a paper cut, your food will be eaten in front of you by another because you will be dead. Got it?”

They all nodded in synch and he hummed, getting inside his car.

You were left in silence and you took the time to sit on your couch, thinking of the events that had happened not so long ago. You slept with two out of seven of your bosses. But not slept in a sexual way, more like they cuddled you until you all went to sleep.

You couldn’t help but feel your body flush, your face feeling warm at the fact that you fell asleep on Taehyung. You remembered resting your head on his chest and knocking out, and you cursed the clinginess that came when you were tired, and the clinginess that so desperately needed to come out. You were way too touch deprived that you liked the way Taehyung and Jungkook grabbed you and took care of you. You liked holding Jimin’s hand. But you also felt bad when you remembered that they were all in a committed relationship, they didn’t need to do any of those things for you. You were pretty sure they were annoyed because no way that they would willingly do it.

“Already thinking so much very early in the day?” You jumped a little at hearing Taehyung’s voice by your ear and you turned your head to look at his figure. He smiled tiredly at you and laid down next to you on the couch, resting his head on your lap. “You two left me all alone in the very cold bed.”

“I’m sorry,” you said, playing with his hair. His eyes closed and you started braiding some strands. “Oh, Jungkook went to buy food.”

“I-” His eyes snapped open, his brows furrowing. “At this time?” You nodded and he grinned. “We’re gonna keep you. He doesn’t like going anywhere especially if he just woke up.”

“Really?” You asked him. He nodded.

“I’m surprised he even woke up early,” he continued, now mumbling since his cheek was squished against the skin of your leg and his eyes were closed because of how comfortable he felt. “He usually sleeps in if it’s a Saturday.”

You continued to watch him as he rambled on, especially about how if no one wakes him, he will not wake up. He later on continued to talk about his family, letting you know that his father was just like him in that sense. He smiled unknowingly when he spoke about his family and you smiled with him. But you immediately stood up once he started clearing his throat.

“You want some juice?”

“No, baby, I’m okay,” he muttered loud enough for you to hear. “I’ll be fine with water.”

“Okay.”

Grabbing what you needed, you tried your hardest to reach for a cup way in the back since you had some in the dirty dishes and you really didn’t want to wash dishes right now. But you really needed to remodel your home again because you were pretty sure you shrunk.

“You’re struggling a bit there,” Taehyung chuckled and you huffed, placing your hands on the counter. Getting yourself up, you immediately grabbed the cups you needed and grabbed more to send some drinks to the men outside. “You’re going to hurt yourself.”

“I’ve done this multiple times,” you waved off his worry, but he was right. Because you dropped a cup directly on the spot where you were going to place your foot on. “Ow!”

“Baby!” Taehyung exclaimed, heading towards you. You grabbed onto your foot, not without placing yourself back on the counter so you won’t hurt yourself anymore. “The day is just starting and you’re already hurt.”

“It could’ve been a lot worse,” you winced and looked away from your wound, feeling a drop of blood trailing down the bottom of your foot. He put on his shoes real quick, walking towards you. “I have a broom right next to the fridge.”

He nodded and grabbed it but your guys’ attention trailed towards the door when it was opened, a bodyguard looking around for any type of threat. He eyed your figure and hid his fear.

“We need a medical kit,” he yelled over his shoulder and he watched as Taehyung grabbed the kit away from his hands as soon as he got the object needed.

“Sir, let me—”

“No,” Taehyung waved him off, grabbing some tweezers that he and the others had used, replacing tweezer after tweezer because of the amount of times they had been hurt with glass.

You winced as soon as the coolness touched your wound. “Am I going to need stitches?” Taehyung shook his head and you let out a sigh of relief. “I should’ve listened.”

“It’s okay, baby,” Taehyung said, his eyesight stuck on your cut in order to take out the small piece of glass stuck in there. “You’re doing great, just be a bit more patient, okay?”

“Yeah, okay.”

He smiled up at you, getting back to what he was doing. But, your guys’ silence was cut off not so long after when you heard a car door slam and the pattering of footsteps heading inside your home.

“What happened?” You both eyed Jungkook’s figure as he stood near you three. His glare traveled to his bodyguard. “I told you very clearly that if anything were to happen to her under your watch, one of you will be killed.”

“Jungkook, I’m fine,” you waved him, smiling when Taehyung hummed in satisfaction, taking out the piece that was hurting you the most. “I was going to serve Taehyung something and the cup slipped. Your guard helped him get the kit or else I would’ve been bleeding out.”

Jungkook got closer to you, hand by your cheek. “Does it hurt really bad?” You thought about it.

“It hurts a little bit.”

“Mmm, come on,” Jungkook placed his hands on your thighs and lifted you with ease, making you wrap your legs around his waist. You gulped at eyeing his tattooed arm and his fingers digging into the flesh of your thigh. “Taehyung will wrap it up, but in the meantime do not walk in it.”

“Deal.”

“We need to watch you at all times,” Jungkook shook his head, placing you on the couch. “You just hurt yourself.” He sighed and watched you. “Do not walk on it. You’ll have us until tomorrow.”

“Tomorrow?” You questioned and they both nodded.

“In the meantime, I need to send Jimin a picture of Jungkook carrying you,” Taehyung giggled, his fingers tapping away on his phone.

“Tae.”

“I’m innocent.”

Combined Beings (viii)

Jimin had stayed up.

He couldn’t go to sleep. He didn’t have the chance to do so when you were softly snoring here and there on the other line, making him realize some things.

He caught himself smiling when he heard you mumble incoherent things, letting him know you do talk in your sleep. But, he felt scared once he felt comfort at the fact you were there and he felt scared once his heart sped up at the sound of your breathing.

He couldn’t stop thinking about you. Not when his stomach hurt at the feeling of you ignoring him. It didn’t last very long since you had just ignored him for a few hours, but they felt like years to him. He definitely knew what this meant and it scared him.

“I don’t know what to wear. It’s so scary.”

“Flower, you’ll be fine,” Jimin chuckled on the other side of the phone, finding your ranting adorable since you were obviously nervous about going to lunch with the other men you haven’t properly met. “Trust me. After all, Yoongi is going to be there, too, so you’ll be familiar with another person.”

“I’ve never talked to Mr. Jung and Mr. Kim,” you breathed out, becoming insecure when you saw the way your stomach looked in a tight shirt you swore fit you not so long ago. “Mr. Kim looks scary. He scares me the most.”

“Namjoon said to call both of them by their names, flower,” Jimin softly reminded you, walking towards the car awaiting for him in front of his shared house with the others, phone held against his ear. “He basically threatened to make you feel bad by buying you more stuff.”

“Oh, God,” you sighed, shaking your head. “Is he always like that?”

“He spoils all of us so, just expect him to also do that to you since you have become a bit closer to me,” Jimin smiled as he heard your small groan, clearly not satisfied with hearing about being spoiled. “Just let him. It’s his love language.”

“Are we going somewhere fancy by the way?” You asked, remembering that you hadn’t asked. You eyed the clothes in front of you and he stayed quiet before humming.

“It’s a bit fancy,” he responded and you heard the door closing behind him. “You are going to be introduced to my own restaurant.”

“You have a restaurant, too?”

He chuckled at your surprised tone, grabbing his phone with one hand while the other was placed on top of his thigh, twirling a ring of his between his fingers.

“Yes, I do,” he answered, hearing you huff on the other end, clearly dealing with something while listening to him. “Taehyung and I both decided to do so. It seemed the easiest for us to handle. But, I’m on my way, okay? I’ll be there in a few.”

“Do I wait for you outside or are you gonna come up here?” You asked, rushing to put on another pair of pants.

“I’ll call you, okay?” Jimin hummed, smiling at the way he could hear you murmuring to yourself before you gave him a breathless ‘okay.’ “I don’t want you to be outside for too long. Crimes are going up near your neighborhood so I’d rather you be safe… inside.”

“Really?” You questioned, eyebrows furrowing. “I didn’t know that. Huh… That’s why I heard someone trying to open my door.”

“I-” Jimin’s mind immediately ran with intense thoughts, even at hearing your nonchalant response. “Y/n-”

“You know, there’s been a bit of gunshots lately, too, it’s crazy,” you continued, clearly not as phased as he was and not knowing how your words were worrying him even more about your safety. “But, I can defend myself.”

“We’ll talk more about this when I get there, okay?” Jimin heard you hum now and he let out a sigh. “I’ll get there quickly. I’ll see you, flower.”

He waited for you to say bye and hung up. He dropped his phone next to him and sighed, fidgeting with his bottom lip with his fingers. He really needed you to be safe. What if he offered to buy you a new place? Get you security? What if he put more security in your home? He couldn’t hide the fact it bothered him that you acted nonchalant about someone possibly breaking into your house. Has it happened more than once? It probably has.

Something bad could’ve happened to you and he had to do something about it even if you argued.

Before he could think any further, the car stopped right in front of your house. He noticed the area and got out, buttoning his blazer while walking towards your door. He knocked.

“I thought you were going to call me,” you chuckled as soon as you saw his figure looming over yours. He slightly smiled and looked over his shoulder, making sure his guards were guarding his back. He eyed a man on the house next to yours who was watering his plants, glaring at him almost immediately that caused the man to look away.

“I was but,” he turned to look back at you, smiling, “I couldn’t help but want to see you fast.” You smiled at his words and grabbed your things before closing the door behind you. You eyed the doorknob.

“I need to get a new one again,” you breathed out, shaking your head as you locked your door. Jimin eyed it and saw the object wobbling out of its place and he held in his sigh, tightly smiling when you turned to look at him. “I am starving.”

“Be careful,” Jimin mumbled, placing a hand on the middle of your back, making sure you didn’t stumble over a crack on the floor. He continued to glare at the man watering his garden until the man became uncomfortable and walked away. “You look beautiful, flower.”

“Thank you, Jimin,” you ignored the way your heart hammered against your chest at hearing the compliment escape his lips. You hoped your face wasn’t betraying you by showing him what you were feeling. Thankfully, he didn’t notice when he opened the door for you.

You went in and he continued to look around the neighborhood, eyeing people and making a mental note in his head to have his security do background checks on everyone to make sure you were safe.

“The restaurant isn’t that far from here,” Jimin broke out of his thoughts as he spoke, turning to look at you as you looked out the window. “From now on, one of my guards is taking you home.”

“I-” You immediately shook your head. “No, no, no. I’m okay. There’s no need for that.”

“There is if your doorknob is broken because someone tried getting in,” Jimin pointed out, arching an eyebrow. You sighed and turned your face to look out the window, knowing that if you agreed, you’d feel like complete shit for wasting his and his guards time for something not even important. You felt his hand on your cheek and felt him turn it around so you could see him. You did. He later moved on to grab onto your hands. “Listen, I don’t mind and neither do my guards because they’re getting paid regardless. I want you to be safe in your home.”

“I don’t like this,” you mumbled, a frown on your face. He chuckled and continued to hold your hands against his.

“I know you don’t but I do,” Jimin smiled at you. “It’s for your safety. I don’t want you to be in danger. What if they manage to get inside? Would you be able to hear? Would you be able to reach for a weapon?”

“I have a taser,” you smiled proudly and he snorted softly. “I don’t want you to worry, Jimin. I’m okay.”

“At least let me set up a security system in your home,” he said and you thought about it, knowing that he won’t back down. He seems pretty persistent to get you to be safe and sound in the depths of your home so, you nodded. “Okay, then. I thought I was going to have to get on my knees and beg.”

“Shut up,” you slapped his shoulder and he laughed before settling on grabbing your hand. You tried to pretend like you were going to get rid of a strand of hair with the hand he held, but he held it by his thigh, your entire hand engulfed in both hands. The way his hands felt against yours, the way they felt so cold and soft, it had more of an effect on you than he knew.

“We’re here, sir,” the driver spoke after a few and Jimin hummed, thanking him once he opened the door for him. The driver stepped back once Jimin did so, holding the door for you. He grabbed your hand and guided you towards his restaurant, making you eye the designs once you went inside.

Still holding your hand, he guided you towards the back, ignoring the way people looked at you two as you walked past their tables. It was obvious he was in charge with the fact that he was the only one dressed up in a black suit and was surrounded with bodyguards. You could only try to ignore the looks you received, too.

“There you are,” Namjoon stood up, smiling as he saw you two. He eyed your hands intertwined together and you pulled away. Though, he didn’t seem to mind as he hugged you. “It’s nice to see you again, y/n.”

“It’s nice to see you, too, Mr.-” He backed away and arched an eyebrow, causing you to sigh and smile at him. “It’s nice to see you, too, Namjoon.”

“Much better,” he lowly chuckled before he let Hoseok and Yoongi greet you, turning to look at Jimin as the other two hugged you very tightly. “What was that?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Jimin waved him off and Namjoon shook his head, small laughter escaping his lips. “What?”

“You like her,” Namjoon admitted. Jimin gave him a perplexed look. As he opened his mouth, Namjoon raised his hand, stopping him. “Yeah, yeah, she’s your friend. But… you’re lying to yourself.”

“Shut up…” Jimin mumbled, eyeing your figure as you spoke to Yoongi, who, surprisingly, is talking to you much more than Hoseok.

“How did you found out?” Namjoon spoke in a whisper, eyes meeting his. Jimin pursed his lips.

“I found out last night,” he replied. “When we were on call. I couldn’t sleep so I called her, she stayed on call with me the entire night. I thought about her the entire time as I heard her snores, which are adorable by the way, and I just… I couldn’t ignore them. Not anymore. I’m sorry.”

“Don’t apologize,” Namjoon placed a hand on his shoulder. “Just know, if she does like you, she will not let you know since you have all 6 of us. But, I’m willing for all of us to get to know her well and get to know her like you do. There’s obviously something special about her.”

“There is,” Jimin nodded, smiling as he saw you bond so well with Yoongi and Hoseok. “It’s just… the way she makes me feel… I don’t know how to explain it. She feels comfortable, in a way. Like she’s been part of my life for so long just like you guys.”

Namjoon continued to chuckle at his words. “You are down bad, Jimin.”

He walked away and Jimin was left with his mouth agape at his boyfriend’s words, clearly not expecting him to say that. You looked at him confused and headed towards him, softly touching his arm.

“Are you okay?” You frowned at him, eyeing his expression. He shook his head, snapping himself out of his shock and smiled at you.

“I’m okay, flower,” he said before standing aside to let you slide into the booth. You did so, grabbing onto the menu in front of you that Yoongi had told you he had placed there since he and the others know what food to get.

As you ordered, you noticed the waiter fidgeting, clearly as nervous as the other waiter you had met in Taehyung’s restaurant. You wondered why but, you hadn’t noticed the glares the boys were giving him, making sure that you were heard.

“And that’ll be all, thank you,” you smiled at the shaking man, though, you hoped that by being even more kind you’ll be able to calm down his very anxious emotions. “Are you okay, by the way?”

“I’ll get to your orders straight away,” the waiter ignored your question and you slumped against your chair, expecting him to ignore you but choosing to believe he won’t. Jimin eyed your figure and he turned to look at his worker.

“Grab him,” he told his guards without looking at them. Yoongi distracted you by making you taste a drink of his, which later had him chuckling when you made a face at tasting the strong alcoholic drink. The waiter appeared again, shaking just as much as before. “Flower asked you a question.”

“Sorry,” the waiter bowed down. You shook your head rapidly.

“No, no, no, it’s okay,” you reassured him. You glanced at Jimin who looked at the man with a straightforward expression, not feeling sympathy. “I was just making sure you were okay.”

“I’m okay,” the waiter answered and he made eye contact with you, a small smile widening on his lips. “Just getting used to talking to more people since I’m not very… social.”

“Oh, I totally understand,” you smiled at the shaken man and waved off his attitude from before. “You’re doing great! Do not worry.”

“Thank you!” The man enthusiastically let out because although he was anxious by the way Jimin and the others glared at him, he was also anxious since it was his first week and he was getting used to socializing. “I’ll bring you your order in a few. Thank you for your patience.”

He walked and when he was out of ear-shot, you turned to look at Jimin with a serious expression. “What was that?”

“What was what?” Jimin shrugged, pretending not to know what you were referring to. You squinted your eyes at him before turning to look at the others, too.

“Stop scaring waiters away,” you scolded them, earning abused looks from them all. “You are scaring them so much they’re shaking.”

“Flower, they need to listen—”

“Nope,” you shook your head and Jimin smiled, resting the side of his face on his propped up hand. “All of you need to stop scaring the poor waiters. I do not care if they listen or not. Let them do their work. Got it?” They all nodded. “Good.”

“That was the cutest thing ever,” Hoseok chuckled, eyeing your face. You simply gave him a look. “You are so adorable. I need to give you a nickname, too.”

“Jimin picked a good name,” Namjoon sighed, feigning a sad expression. “Flower is so pretty.”

“I call dibs on angel,” Hoseok called out, making your face feel warm at the name. Jimin smiled as he sipped his drink, watching your reactions.

Yoongi hummed. “That’s a good one. I’ll call her that, too.”

They all turned to look at Namjoon and you strayed your sight away from them all, not used to so many compliments from such beautiful men. You felt yourself such a lucky person and you wondered what you had done in your previous life to deserve them.

“You’re beautiful, y/n,” Namjoon admitted after a moment of silence. You looked at him and he was already staring at you. “It’s not something new to any of us, we see your beauty. Jimin sees it.” You turned to look at said man and he was hiding his smirk behind the cup he was drinking from. “I’d like to call you either beauty or beautiful.”

“You guys are too much,” you mumbled, placing a hand on your cheek, trying your hardest to get rid of the warmth. Jimin chuckled from beside you.

“Use my hands,” he offered, passing you his ring cladded hand that was indeed cold. You slapped it away softly, receiving another sound of laughter from him.

It didn’t take long before you all spoke and you learned a lot.

Namjoon owned a bookstore in a café shop and he showed you pictures of it. You had to do a double take when you saw the garden that he had created, allowing the customers to enjoy their beverage and book(s) surrounded with nature. He seemed more than just your boss and you wished you had known him since he enjoyed nature and museums very much. He had such a calm soul.

Yoongi had talked about his music shop. Allowing kids, teenagers, and young adults to have a safe space to create their own piece of work. He had told you a story about his past and the hardships he had gone through to get where he was, and you made sure he was comfortable enough to share. He really had a successful business which allowed him to form bonds with some teens he saw himself in. He looked very touched when he told you some stories.

Hoseok had a dance studio. It was open to those who couldn’t afford dance lessons and it allowed him to be able to also form friendships with dancers he danced with on an occasion. He seemed very enthusiastic to share about his life, talking to you about his past insecurities that he had overcome by slowly allowing himself to be loved and letting himself know he is worthy of the love he gets. He also inspired you when he let you know it’s not an easy path to loving yourself, but it’s easy to know and understand the walls you are building around yourself that prevents you from doing so.

Jimin stayed quiet the entire time. He just watched you. He watched you and the way your lips moved as you talked. His eyes traveled to your lips to your eyes, to the way your lashes fluttered against your cheek, to the way you smiled, to the way you placed a strand of hair behind your ear here and there. He couldn’t stop staring at you.

Jimin wasn’t one to fall first. The others fell for him and he fell after, allowing himself to be loved. But here he was, falling harder than ever. He knew they didn’t have an issue when one fell for another person, they were all secure. They would try their hardest to bond with that person, too, but if they couldn’t do so, then the feelings went away as quick as they came, and Jimin saw the way the talked to you was them successfully bonding with you.

“Mind if we join you?”

You all looked at the person who spoke and eyed Jin, Taehyung, and Jungkook standing by your table. You gulped and turned to look at Jimin once you felt Jin’s stare on you.

“Hey,” you whispered to him. Jimin looked at you. “If you want, I’ll go home so you can spend time with them.”

Jimin saw the way Jin looked at you and sighed before shaking his head, placing a hand on your thigh. “Stay. You’re not bothering anyone.”

“I don’t want to make Mr. Kim uncomfortable,” you mumbled, fidgeting on your seat, smiling when Taehyung enthusiastically moved to sit next to you, receiving an annoyed nudge by Jungkook who had wanted to be with you.

“It’s okay, flower. If he talks bad, I’ll take you home.”

“No, I’ll order a ride,” you shook your head, dismissing his gesture and he softly glared at you, not liking how you dismissed your safety.

“I’ll take you.”

Now, Jimin had been avoiding Jin since he had gotten home after the whole situation with you in his office. He wasn’t too happy about the way Jin treated you and made you and him look like liars in front of the guys. He also wasn’t happy at all when Jin made it seem like you were after their money.

“I didn’t expect to see you here,” Jin spoke, catching your attention as he stared at you, receiving drinks quickly along with Jungkook and Taehyung. Everyone quieted down and Taehyung stood straighter beside you. “I’m surprised to see you’d show your face.”

“I’m not a liar like you made me seem so I have no reason to hide,” you shrugged, not daring to look at him as you eyed the way they all looked between you. Jimin had thankfully kept his hand on your thigh, allowing you to play with some fidget rings he had on.

“Hmm,” Jin simply hummed, watching you.

“Stop it,” Namjoon nudged him, raising his eyebrows. “What did we talk about?”

Jin inhaled through his nose. “I’ll try to get to know her but don’t think I’ll like it a bit.”

“Yeah, right.”

Everyone continued to converse, but you stayed quiet along with Jin. You two would speak once in a while when the others would ask questions, but it didn’t take long before both of you went back to staying quiet.

Jimin was tired of it and the way you and Jin immediately quieted down around each other’s presence. He didn’t blame you but, he felt bad when he saw how you were now so quiet when you were just conversing not so long ago.

“I was talking to y/n earlier,” he started, clearing his throat, and everyone turned to look at him, even you, “because someone here could’ve been in danger.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you looked away, taking a sip of your drink. Jimin playfully rolled his eyes.

“Y/n heard someone trying to break in,” everyone now looked at you, “again. I saw the doorknob was broken and out of place. Crimes are rising in her neighborhood.”

“Have you tried moving out?” Namjoon raised an eyebrow at you and you glanced at him.

“I just moved into that new place recently,” you answered. “And I told Jimin not to worry about it. I can defend myself.”

“I don’t doubt it,” Yoongi spoke, “but sometimes things like that can come unexpected and you won’t be able to react in time. Maybe we’ll give you security?”

“I’m okay,” you waved it off before Jimin stared at you with an intense look on his face. You sighed as you remembered your conversation. “Jimin wants to set up a security system.”

“I agree with that,” Taehyung spoke from beside you. Everyone else agreed and they all turned to eye Jin who hadn’t spoken, yet. You didn’t care, though, and played with the ice in your cup.

“It seems better to do that,” Jin shrugged and your head snapped to stare at him. He didn’t meet your eye. “It’s very dangerous that you live by yourself and were almost broken into. The worst thing that can happen is you can get killed.”

“One of us is dropping you off after work,” Jungkook said, making you pinch the bridge of your nose, not liking the way they were wasting time making sure you were safe. You could handle it. Maybe… “I’m being serious, y/n. It’s not safe to go home safe and letting bad people see you live by yourself. Got it?”

“Alright, alright, I got it.”

It didn’t take long before the conversation changed. You and Jin weren’t talking but, you both kept looking up once in a while and made eye contact that had you two immediately look away. It was happening every time you looked up as if he could sense when you would do so.

Before you knew it, it was night and Jimin and Jungkook offered to take you home. It wasn’t long before Taehyung piped in and begged to be taken with you three. You quickly said yes once you saw a pout on his lips.

“I’ll talk to Jin,” Jimin told you, sighing, hand holding onto yours. You hadn’t processed the fact that Taehyung was holding the other tightly against his large hands, playing with your fingers. “And you better call me if anything, I mean if anything, happens, okay?”

You nodded. “I got it.”

Jimin dropped you off at home and left, advising a guard of his to stay behind to watch your house a little longer so you could feel and be safe. You didn’t need to know that information.

“You have to get to know her,” Jimin immediately said as soon as he entered Jin’s office. “You have to get to know her. We all know her.”

“And you all like her,” Jin pointed out. Jimin groaned and sat in front of him. “I don’t mind but, she’s just… it’s just… it’s annoying!”

“It’s fine to find her attractive,” Jimin noted out. “She is attractive and gorgeous. You can’t lie about that to yourself.”

“Listen, I’m sorry for how I reacted,” Jin ignored his comments, withholding eye contact. “It wasn’t right of me to react the way I did.”

“You don’t need to apologize to me,” Jimin said. “You need to apologize to y/n for making it seem like she wanted someone to hurt her for money. I had been watching everything and Iseul was at fault. We can’t excuse her actions simply because her father is our our business partner.”

Jin thought about it and slumped against his chair. “How about this?” Jimin hummed. “I’ll eat alone with her, tomorrow or whenever she’s free, okay? I’ll apologize to her, but I feel like she’ll be more comfortable if you’re there.”

“I was going to be there whether you liked it or not,” Jimin grinned before giving Jin a kiss. “Thank you. You’ll love her once you get to know her. I promise you.”

“We’ll see. I’ll make it up to you tomorrow by bringing you breakfast in bed, deal?”

“Breakfast in bed for two weeks. Then it’s a deal.”

“Fine, deal. Tell Y/n we’ll pick her up after work.”

“Can someone tell me why I just got called by Mr. Kim telling me that his daughter was just fired after we promised him we’ll take her in?”

Jimin and Jungkook looked at Jin as he came to Jimin’s office, clearly seething by the way his cheeks were flushed. The other boys quickly came right behind him, shutting the door so they’ll be able to speak in peace without anyone hearing in.

“Well, Iseul has not only been harassing every worker in every division,” Jimin started, leaning against his desk as his arms were crossed over his chest, “but she has been physically hurting workers.”

“Do you have any proof of this?” Jin asked, already having an idea as to who made Jimin take action.

“Yes, I put cameras yesterday morning in my division,” Jimin replied, anger coursing through his veins once he recalled the video in his head. “My workers were aware I moved cameras by the way.”

“And I already know that worker of yours is the cause of this,” Jin snapped back and Jimin grabbed Jungkook’s hand in order to calm the man down. “If it were any other worker, you wouldn’t have paid attention to the harassment!”

“Yes, I would have,” Jimin defended his actions almost immediately so Jin wouldn’t have bad things to say about you. “I’m their boss, Jin. I would’ve believed my workers, anyone, if they confided in me to tell me who the person that has been bullying and physically hurting them is. Do not try to start something based on something that isn’t factual and true.”

“Jimin, I know you guys went out with her,” Jin argued. “We do not need anyone else in this relationship. No one else.” He punched the bridge of his nose and sighed. “Call her up. I want to talk to her.”

“I’m not doing that if you’re just going to yell at her,” Jimin stared back at him with the same expression etched on his face. He wasn’t happy about bringing you into an argument that you would later blame on yourself.

“Send her up, Jimin,” Jin got closer to Jimin and Namjoon stepped in, pushing both of them away from one another. He turned to look at Jimin.

“Just call her up, Jimin, okay?” Jimin exhaled through his nose, grabbing his phone while he glared at Jin who gave him back the same expression.

“Hey, Eunji,” Jimin spoke, “can you call Y/n up?” Pause. “Yeah, I just, uh, need to speak to her more about the incident with Iseul. The others are here to hear her side of the story… Yeah, send her up right now… okay, bye.” He went to go stand up next to Jungkook. “She’s coming up.”

“Good.”

It wasn’t long before you came to the floor, hands slightly shaking when you knew Jimin wasn’t the only one here. Everyone was in there.

“Y/n,” Taehyung greeted you, opening the door for you as soon as he heard you slightly knock on the door. You walked in and he gave you a reassuring smile before he closed the door behind you.

Jimin immediately walked towards you as the others sat on his couch, eyeing you.

“Listen, if you feel uncomfortable, just tap the side of my leg,” he instructed. “Jin is the one you haven’t met yet and he’s the one that wants to talk to you. I don’t know why but…” he sighed and stared at you with such softness. “I’ll be by your side.”

“Thank you,” you mumbled, smiling a little and he responded back, giving you the same smile. He stood aside and walked behind you as you headed towards the couch that could only fit two people. Jimin, of course, sat next to you.

You sat down and you looked at all of them, but the eyes of the one you haven’t met stared deep into you that made you look away, feeling uncomfortable.

“Why did you have Iseul fired?” Jin immediately asked before you could fully breathe. He gave you a deadpan expression, his eyes staying on you that you swore he wasn’t blinking. “Because from I saw, Iseul has never been accused of anything and she doesn’t have any complaints.”

“I didn’t have Iseul fired,” you replied with as much confidence as you could muster. Jimin stared at the side of your face. “She has simply been harassing me since the very beginning of my time here. She’s very powerful, everyone knows. She flaunts her title, her parents, and the fact she knows all of you. We all appreciate our jobs way too much that we won’t risk it by telling you guys what she has been doing, then finding out you guys are friends, and we get fired because she’s important.”

“It doesn’t excuse the fact that she doesn’t have any complaints against her name,” you arched an eyebrow at the man, irritation now coursing through your bones at the tone he spoke to you in.

“It seems you’re trying to excuse her actions, Mr. Kim,” you said, frowning at him. The ones who you have spoken the most to, agreed with you, nodding their heads.

“Yeah, Jin,” Taehyung spoke up, staring at his boyfriend with a disappointed expression, “it does seem that you’re trying to do that.”

“I’m sorry that I’m suspicious of your words,” Jin glared at you and your hands slightly shook with anger. “You see, Ms. Y/n, it’s not uncommon for a worker to lie in order to get money or to get into the pants of every single one of us.”

“Jin,” Jungkook stared him down but Jin simply waved him off as he looked at you.

“So, tell me, how much money do you want?”

“Mr. Kim, if I was just sent up here to basically be told that I’m a liar,” you started with the most calm tone you could muster as you stared down at your arm where your wound was covered up, blood slowly starting to seep through the bandage, “I would like to leave if that’s okay.”

“No—”

Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung turned to look at Jin as soon as he was about to deny your request. Yoongi nudged him as he sat next to him and nodded.

“You’re excused, y/n,” Namjoon looked at you, a small smile on his face. You thanked him and stood up to leave, opening the door before Jimin stopped you.

“I’m sorry about that,” he spewed out. “Honestly. I believe you. We’ll talk later okay?”

You sighed and you faced him, ignoring everyone’s stares. “It seems that Mr. Kim has an issue with me. I don’t want to talk to you if he he doesn’t like it, Jimin. He is your boyfriend, I’m a friend. His opinion matters more. I’ll see you around, okay?”

You tried to force a smile but there was an ache on your chest at knowing that you won’t be able to speak to Jimin. But, it’s the truth. His partner who he has been with for years doesn’t feel comfortable around you, you can see that. You are not going to be someone who accidentally gets stuck into those situations and you break anyone up. You had never dealt with any type of situations like these but, you hoped you were doing the right thing as you left.

As soon as the door closed, Jimin’s lips were parted. He had finally made a friend who didn’t criticize or objectify him, and now that friend was gone because Jin was being an asshole. Such… an asshole.

“What is wrong with you?” The guys eyed Jimin as he headed towards the eldest of the group. “You saw the video, Jin. It wasn’t her fault and she wasn’t lying.”

“Don’t let yourself be brainwashed,” Jin shrugged, staring at his hands that were clasped on top of his knee. “You already dealt with this with—”

“No, do not bring Nabi into this,” Jimin snapped, shaking his head. “She is in the past. She left and that’s it. There’s no reason for any of us to hold onto her when she stole from us and slept with other people. Y/n is my friend. She is not someone who I’m fucking around with.”

With that, Jimin left, closing the door behind him rather harshly. He hoped to get to you but he knew he had to at least respect your wishes for… today. He’ll seek for you tomorrow.

“He’s right, Jin,” Namjoon was the first one to speak his mind as he stared at the eldest who was silent. “Listen, we appreciate you taking care of us, always looking out for us, but it’s time we’re able to trust people. Not everyone but, if Jimin or any of the boys want to befriend her, let them. But, if you feel uncomfortable or if you feel like you personally don’t trust her and have that feeling in your gut, then your feelings are valid. They won’t hang with her, okay?”

Jin looked at Namjoon and sighed. He eyed everyone there and turned to look at the ones who have gotten to know you: Jungkook, Taehyung, and Yoongi.

“Do you guys like her?” He asked. The three glanced at one another. “Be honest with me.”

“She’s so sweet,” Taehyung spoke. “Genuinely. We got to know her and her intentions aren’t bad. Since we learned from Nabi, we looked for red flags. There aren’t none with Y/n. She especially cares so much about Jimin.”

“I’ll talk to him at home,” Jin breathed out and he stood up, buttoning his blazer. His gaze focused on Jungkook. “Go check up on him. Knowing him, he’s going to kill someone.”

Jungkook nodded and left, quickly following after Jimin, knowing he was already by the parking lot with their guards. He couldn’t help but think about you and the way you looked. The wound on your arm made his hands turn into fists, angry at the fact someone hurt such a kind person like you. You didn’t do anything but already knowing Iseul, she only came at you and the way you looked. He experienced her hatred when he was younger so he already knew the type of person she was.

He looked up once he felt the elevator stop, making him stare in the furious eyes of a girl who was already pressing on the buttons.

“Stupid men,” she mumbled under her breath, shaking her head while tapping her foot furiously on the floor. But, she stopped once she finally noticed the figure behind her. She looked and softly gasped, immediately bowing. “Mr. Jeon.”

“Ari, right?” The girl nodded. “Tell Y/n I’m sorry. She has my phone number, I’ll be calling her later.”

Ari nodded yet again, being left behind dumbfounded when Jungkook left. His guards followed behind him, leading him towards Jimin who had, thankfully, not left yet.

“You doing okay?” Jungkook asked, appearing next to Jimin’s side. Jimin didn’t look at him and looked straight ahead, sighing. “Listen, Jin is just protecting us.”

“I know he is,” Jimin answered. “But, he’s not doing it in a way that is good. We have experienced Iseul’s horrible ways, he should’ve understood that that’s the type of person she is.”

“I know.”

“And Y/n doesn’t want to basically talk to me,” Jimin breathed out. “I finally made a friend who treats me as a human being and not a monster or an object. She genuinely wants to get to know me. That old hag… Nabi ruined it for the others.”

“Nabi was a horrible person,” Jungkook said, following behind him into the car. They both situated themselves and put on their seatbelts, still thinking about the events that had happened. “We just fell in love with the wrong person.”

“We kill people,” Jimin started, his head moving side to side to display his anger at speaking about his past lover. “We have blood in our hands. We torture people to tell us what we need to know, yet we couldn’t tell when Nabi lied to us. We were just candy to her. She stole from us, lied to us, wasn’t loyal to us, and she made us do everything for her because she knew we would do anything for her.”

“Love made us blind, Jimin,” Jungkook reassured him, grabbing his hand. “We fell for her. Hard. We have been dating for years and getting someone new into our relationship simply made us all excited. We didn’t see what others could. Our parents didn’t see it either. It’s not our fault.”

Jimin nodded at his words and slumped his shoulders. “Y/n doesn’t want anything to do with me, us. I get her opinion, though. She said she won’t talk to me if Jin feels uncomfortable that she’s doing so. She’s such an angel, though, because she got accused of basically being a gold digger by Jin and yet, she’s thinking of his feelings.”

“Listen, Jin is just… taking care of us,” Jungkook looked down to catch Jimin’s attention and smiled a little when he made eye contact with him. “After Nabi, we were all heartbroken and Jin had to pick up the pieces that she broke while he was handling his own pain. I know right now you feel this way because Y/n has become your friend, but look at the issue in point of view.”

“I know,” Jimin mumbled, his chest heaving by the amount of sighs he leg out while he licked his lips. “I just wish he wasn’t so harsh, you know? He should trust us.”

“I know, I know,” Jungkook wrapped an arm around his shoulders, bringing their heads together. “We’ll go home and we need to talk to Y/n, whether she likes it or not.”

Jimin chuckled. “That’ll be nice. I already miss her.”

Jungkook smiled before the two quieted down, admiring the scenery. He could only think of you and he knew Jimin was thinking of you, too.

It was odd the way you easily bonded with them. Especially with him, Jimin, Taehyung, and Yoongi. All four were the quietest out of the 7, and for you to manage to get them out their shells for a bit was more than enough for Jungkook to be able to trust you with his older partners and with him.

“Jungkook said he’ll call you later,” Ari told you as soon as you two sat down for dinner in your apartment. Eunji sat across from you, her son by her side as he ate some cut up potatoes that Eunji had said, “He has an obsession with potatoes. Do not get any, he’ll throw a fit.”

“I don’t really feel like it’s fair for Mr. Kim,” you frowned, shaking your head. Ari and Eunji arched their eyebrows as if asking which one. “The older one. He seemed like he was uncomfortable with me… and he was! He really asked how much money I wanted.”

“He’s probably taking care of them emotionally, honey,” Eunji threw you a pitied look. “I mean, they haven’t personally talked to anyone since the employee that used to work in our division got fired.”

You sighed and nodded, playing with your food. “Yeah, you’re right. I just feel like he could’ve dealt with the situation better instead of calling me a liar when there was evidence and there are people who saw the situation happen. I know you two have my back. The other workers… not so much.”

“Look, just give him a chance to know you,” Ari reassured you by placing her hand on top of yours, hoping to soothe your nerves. “If he doesn’t want to, it’s his loss. But you at least know that Jimin, or any of the boys you have met, didn’t exactly know what he was going to say.”

“Wait for them to call,” Eunji suggested, a smirk forming on her lips. You snorted and shook your head.

“I doubt they’ll even remember.”

As dinner passed by quickly, Ari, Eunji, and her child left your home. You were thankful that they at least helped you clean and you quickly did all of your business before heading to bed.

As you got out of the shower and changed, you went to bed, after making sure everything was locked and secured in your house, and just laid there. You really didn’t know what to think about the situation, but your friends were. You should cut Jin some slack and you do what to but it’s the he humiliated you and said some things he shouldn’t have said.

Your phone buzzing broke you off of your thoughts. You grabbed it and looked at the screen, smiling a little at seeing Jimin’s name showing up. Maybe you should ignore it, but you knew you would feel bad so you answered.

“Hello?” You responded, putting the phone on speaker.

“Hey,” you heard the way his voice softened, speaking to you in almost a hushed whisper. “Did I wake you?”

“No, I hadn’t gone to sleep yet, don’t worry,” you chuckled a little, feeling your heart beating against your chest. You placed a hand on top and calmed your breathing down. “Why are you calling me?”

“I’m sorry for how things went in the office,” he apologized and you heard the way he let out a sigh, clearly phased by his partner’s actions. “Jin isn’t like that but, I hope you do understand he is very cautious about women who befriend us. He has been the one to pick us all up once we get hurt and he always takes care of us. With you, his instincts went off. We got close to you in a matter of two weeks and he got worried.” He heard silence. “I know his reaction wasn’t right at all and I apologize on his behalf. He shouldn’t have assumed you were doing anything because of money.”

“I know he doesn’t know me,” you started, “but it still hurt to be accused of basically wanting to sleep with you guys or be accused of wanting money. The harassment I receive at work is no joke and it’s not something I would exactly like about.”

“I know, flower,” there goes your heart again, “I know. But, I am sorry, okay? And he doesn’t mind that we hang out with you. Everyone stood up for you so he saw that we trusted you.”

You softly giggled while your eyes drooped from the lateness and lack of sleep. “That’s nice of you guys. Thank you.”

“I was going to ask you a favor by the way,” you heard him say and you hummed, gesturing for him to continue. “Is it okay if we can sleep on call? I’m sleeping alone today and the others went to a business meeting real quick. It’ll only be for today.”

You smiled a little and nodded. “It’s okay, Jimin. We can stay on. I won’t be heading to work tomorrow either way. I have my day off.”

You heard Jimin snickered and sheets rustling. “I’ll come visit you with food then. I miss your presence.” Your face flushed and you cleared your throat. “I don’t hear any talk back so I’ll show up.”

“No you aren’t,” you scoffed, not believing his words. Jimin hummed.

“Watch me.”

You smiled at his words. “Goodnight, Jimin. Sweet dreams.”

“Goodnight, y/n, sweet dreams,” Jimin repeated back and you cuddled your blankets, placing your phone on the night stand beside you, letting it charge. You heard him talk. “Before you fully sleep, Namjoon and Hoseok want to go to lunch with you. Get to know you. Don’t worry, I’ll be there.”

“Mhm, I’ll go, but you better come pick me because I don’t want another one of you knowing my address.”

“Be quiet and get enough rest for tomorrow.”

“Okay, okay. Goodnight.”

“Goodnight, flower.”

Combined Beings (vi)

Okay, be safe and turn on your location so I can see where you’re at, just in case they’re not who they say they are.”

You chuckled at Ari’s worry, watching her as she placed a hand on her hip, squinting her eyes at you. You sighed.

“My location is already shared with you,” you reassured her with a small smile etched on your face. She nodded and pressed the button for you on the elevator. “I’ll be careful, I promise.”

“And if they try anything, call us and we’ll be there immediately,” Eunji sternly spoke, causing you to nod at their words. “And we mean it. We’re excited for you to eat lunch with them but it’s also important for you to be aware of any danger, okay?”

“Okay,” you etched on a serious frown on your face, pursing your lips to seem even more serious. They slapped your arms and you laughed. “Okay, okay, I know. I’ll keep you guys updated about anything, okay? Don’t worry.”

“You better.”

The elevator doors opened and you went in, waving enthusiastically at your friends who waved back with the same energy as you. You got out of the elevator at getting to Jimin’s floor, walking out towards his office while curtly waving at his assistant who looked not too happy to see you.

You walked into Jimin’s office, coming to see his figure already grabbing his blazer and putting it on. He turned to look at you as soon as he heard the door open, smiling at coming to see you.

“You made it just on time,” he smiled before gesturing you forward. You did so, sticking your arms out as his fingers immediately went around them, eyes sternly burning themselves intensely to see if you had gotten hurt. You thankfully hadn’t. Iseul was too quiet today. “How was your day, flower?”

“It was pretty quiet,” you answered just as softly as he touched you. “But it was great. Ari and I finished paperwork after paperwork and we just talked about how her mom packed me lunch again. Though, we got a bit worried because Iseul hadn’t bothered us at all today.”

“That’s good news, though, right?” He looked at you and you frowned, shaking your head. “You’re afraid that the silence might mean something?” You nodded and he frowned next, grabbing your chin that had your breath hitch in your throat. “Hey, listen, call me immediately if anything happens, okay? I don’t want you getting hurt, especially if she’s doing it under my nose. I’ll add in my phone number later on after dinner.”

You nodded, not trusting yourself to even speak. He chuckled a little at your obvious nervousness, letting his hand drop towards your hand. He grabbed it.

“Let’s go,” he spoke. “I’m sure the boys are already waiting for us.”

You two walked out of his office, and you quickly wrapped your hand around his arm, hiding behind his arm when you came to see his assistant staring at you. His hand tightened against your own, thumb rubbing against the back of your hand.

“Where are we going by the way?” You asked him as he pressed the floor to the main lobby.

“I actually do not have a clue,” Jimin answered. He passed you the phone he had been staring at, making you eye the messages he had been sent by Taehyung. “He said it’s a surprise. Though, judging by how he’s the one planning this, he’s going to take us to the restaurant he owns.”

“He owns a restaurant?” You gaped at him and Jimin nodded, putting his phone away to pay attention to you.

“He does,” he replied. “It’s right near here, almost 20-25 minutes away, I think. It’s the new restaurant, Stigma. Taehyung had learned about that word and became obsessed with it so, he named his restaurant that.”

You slightly laughed a little. “That’s cute.”

Jimin smiled down at you, your eyes already wandering around. You got distracted very easily, he noted.

When the doors opened, four men immediately headed towards you two, surrounding you both. You went the opposite way of the entrance, walking down the hallway that led to the parking lot. There was a car awaiting you two and the man in front opened it, making Jimin step back a little and helping you into the car.

He got in right after, his hand still clasped in yours. He never wanted to let go. You, on the other hand, were anxious. He was in a relationship. You shouldn’t be holding the hand of a taken man. You didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable, much less his partners.

So, you leaned down and pretended to fix your shoe, allowing your hand to leave his grasp.

“Jungkook has already arrived at the restaurant,” Jimin said as soon as you leaned back, staring out the window. “They’re just waiting for us. Also, don’t be scared of the bodyguards. I’m sure you understand it’s for safety measures.”

You nodded. “Of course. I understand, don’t worry.” He patted your leg and you gulped a little. “Also, is it still okay to call Mr. Min, Mr. Kim, and Mr. Jeon by their last names? I feel rude to call them by their first.”

“Whatever makes you comfortable, flower.”

You relaxed against your seat at his words, ignoring the way your hand ached to be in his again. You wanted him to grab it, to rub his thumb on the back of your hand, to squeeze it and place it on top of his thigh. But, you knew that if you were his partner, you would not like it if he held the hand of another person that wasn’t you.

You two arrived to the restaurant and Jimin was right about the location. After all, Jungkook had confirmed his words, stating that they were eating at Stigma.

You both got out and headed inside the place, ignoring the way people glanced at you both. You hurried along Jimin’s long strides, feeling uncomfortable at the way women and men looked at you up and down.

Once you made it to the back of the restaurant, thankfully, where the others sat at, had much more privacy. Their table was farther away and no one could even glance at them. That made you feel a bit better.

“Y/n,” Taehyung, Yoongi, and Jungkook immediately said, greeting you before they turned to Jimin, each one kissing his cheek while he smiled brightly. “We were waiting for you two.”

“Figured you’d bring us here,” Jimin glanced at Taehyung, letting you slide to sit beside Jungkook. He sat next to you as soon as he saw you sat. “Boosts your ego a bit to see how many people are eating here, huh?”

Taehyung smiled. “You know it does.” He turned his attention towards you and the others turned to look at you, too. “Thank you for being here with us. Don’t worry about paying. It’s on me.”

“Aren’t you the boss of this restaurant?” Yoongi pointed out and Taehyung glanced at him before looking at you with a smile spread on his lips.

“Just don’t worry about paying.”

You smiled a little. “Okay.”

“How was work?” Yoongi asked you. They all turned to you, their attention not daring to waver away from you.

“It was good,” you responded, feeling nervous at the fact that their gazes wouldn’t move away from you. “Um, there wasn’t a lot of work to be done today and if there was, I would finish it. It was pretty relaxing.”

“That’s good to hear,” Jungkook hummed, looking down at you and you gulped at the way a strand of hair fell on his forehead. “You haven’t been having issues with your co-workers?”

“Not today,” you shook your head. “I haven’t gotten hurt ever since Jimin fired Minjun. Iseul and the others tend to… throw me words but, it’s—”

“Mr. Kim, I’m going to be your server for today…” the man who stepped forward to get your orders, stopped mid-sentence at coming to see that all of them were glaring at him. You minded your business, looking down at the menu in front of you. “Just wave at me when you’re ready.”

He quickly scurried away and you looked after his retreating figure with a confused expression. You frowned and Jimin patted your thigh.

“Continue, flower.”

“Oh,” you said before clearing your throat and continuing off, “um, I was just saying that I haven’t had anyone bothering me in any type of way.”

“I was telling her that as soon as someone, or Iseul to be specific, is bothering her, to text me,” Jimin explained. “I was thinking it would be nice for her to have our contact information just in case I’m not available.”

“Yeah, just give us your phone after dinner,” Yoongi nodded. Then others nodded in agreement and they finally waved the waiter over. The poor man was shaking as he lifted his notepad, making sure he wrote down what you wanted since the men surrounding you stared him down.

He left quickly after, bringing you and Jimin some drinks since you two came later.

“I’m surprised you invited me to dinner,” you started, looking at each of them, eyes meeting theirs. “I mean, I’m not someone of your status.”

Jungkook chuckled lowly beside you, his gaze on the cup he held in the hand adorned with tattoos. “We don’t really care about anyone’s status, Y/n.”

“We simply invited you,” Taehyung gestured to himself and Yoongi, “because we see how nice you treat our Jimin here.” You looked at Jimin as he smiled, looking down at his lap. “It’s very hard for us to make friends without people wanting money or more from us. We can’t speak to other women without them trying to get in our pants or flirt with us. It’s tiring.”

“So, you took me out to dinner because… I respect you as a human being, too?” You tilted your head curiously at them, small laughter and chuckles escaping their lips.

“Basically,” Taehyung nodded, agreeing to your words. “You see us as people and though we are your bosses, you still respect as people and not as objects waiting to be grabbed and basically harassed.”

“There was this worker once,” Yoongi began and you paid attention to him, “and she basically sat on my lap because I was “attractive” as she worded it. I couldn’t move her, not when cameras were on us and were encouraging her. It’s unusual to come across a girl or a guy without them wanting to take advantage of us, which they wouldn’t be able to do.”

“Well, I would never do that to you guys,” your brows were furrowed as you glanced at each one. “I mean, it’s just harassment what they do to you all like you don’t have feelings. I’m sorry you have to go through that.”

Jimin softly smiled beside you and the others looked at you before looking at him. He nodded and the table quieted down, watching you thank the waiter who brought the food.

Jungkook kept his gaze on your hand, rings adorning some fingers here and there. He eyed the vibrant pink bandaid over your white blouse, eyeing his own pink bandaid that was placed over the wound by his tattoos. He smiled to himself as he got to eating.

It wasn’t long before you all started speaking again. Well, it wasn’t long before they started speaking again. You were silently eating, admiring the scenery of the restaurant that had darker tones with not so bright lights. You liked the jazz music playing in the background and the way there were small murmurs. Though, the silence was long gone when a man and his friends came in, causing a ruckus.

Jimin and Jungkook both placed their hands on your thighs, the bodyguards for them immediately standing closer to you all for protection. Taehyung and Yoongi glared at the group of people, simply the men and women chose the wrong day to disrupt their dinner, especially when they had you there.

“Sir, they won’t leave,” a different nervous waiter hurried to tell Taehyung the news, staring at the group. “They claim they know the boss of this place.”

Taehyung eyed the people, not recognizing them. He turned to look at you all before his eyes set on your nervous figure, clearly anxious with the situation. Jimin and Jungkook gave him a look, feeling your shaky hands reaching to grab theirs under the table.

“I’ll be right back,” Taehyung spoke up, leaving his blazer behind. Yoongi followed after him, but Jungkook stopped him.

“I’ll go with him.”

Yoongi nodded and Jimin glanced at him, making sure his own gun was still by his waist, hidden away from you but closer to him for easy access.

“Flower,” Jimin sang your name, catching your attention as you looked at the group of people starting a fight with Taehyung’s restaurant security, “look at me.” You looked at him and he smiled reassuringly at you. “They’re gonna handle it, don’t worry, okay? We won’t let them hurt you or touch you in any way.”

“Just continue eating your food,” Yoongi called out, gesturing towards the food you left untouched. “They’ll be able to handle it.”

“Okay…”

You ate your food as they continued to talk. You hoped Taehyung and Jungkook were able to handle it. They seemed pretty pissed off when they headed over there but, you assumed the group of people will just be kicked out.

“Why am I being told you’re telling others you know me?” Taehyung appeared in front of the man who had been taken in the back of the restaurant, farther away from everyone. Farther away from you.

“It’s not that big of a deal,” the man shrugged, clearly not knowing who Taehyung was. Though, the man started to become nervous when he saw two friends of his being brought in, held by two men wearing all black. Jungkook came in and the man gulped at the tattoo sleeve, the earring on his lip, the serious expression on his face, and his fists painted with blood that belonged to his friends. The friends that stayed by his side while the others were told to leave.

“You came in on a bad day,” Taehyung stood in front of him, knife held between his fingers. “You see, my partners are here for the first time and there’s this girl. Well, you could only imagine the anger I felt once she started shaking out of fear when you and your friends came to bother.”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” the man’s friend beside him immediately apologized, shaking like a leaf in the cold. “Please, it was his idea not ours.”

“And what was his idea?” Jungkook glared at him, his attention then wavering onto the other friend with the buzz cut who had spoken.

“He wanted to come here and steal from you, sir,” he explained and the man in front of Taehyung shook out of anger for his friends betrayal. “He was going to claim he knew you and then have us get rid of the guards.”

Taehyung’s head snapped towards the man, the knife inching towards his face. “Let them go. Pay them the money they need to shut them up.”

The guards nodded and took away the men, who let out a small sigh of relief. Though, they were to be shot and killed for money wouldn’t quiet them.

“What’s your name?” Jungkook mumbled loud enough for the man to hear.

“Daejung,” the man replied.

“Now, Daejung,” Taehyung sarcastically smiled at him and Daejung wondered how a good-looking man like him could be so sinister, “I’m going to kill you quickly. I have a dinner to get back to and you ruined it. I have the perfect men and a perfect girl waiting for me, for us, and you and your little friends ruined everything I had planned.”

“No, no, please, I didn’t know.”

“Of course you didn’t,” Taehyung snapped, his eyes holding such anger in them that Jungkook had placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. He did. “But you still need to face the consequences.”

Before the man could continuing spewing plea’s, Taehyung shot him in the head, humming with satisfaction at the body falling on the floor.

“Here,” Jungkook breathed out, passing him a couple of wet napkins in order to wipe away any remaining droplets of blood on his face. They both wiped anything that showed their actions and left the room with their guards getting rid of the body and the other ones.

“Are you okay?”

Taehyung smiled as soon as he heard your voice, watching as Jungkook sat next to you again.

“We’re okay,” Taehyung said, sitting down. “How was the food by the way?” Your eyes continued to wander around and Jungkook simply patted your thigh, making you look at him. He looked at Taehyung who chuckled. “I’m talking to you, y/n.”

“Well, it was hard to eat while I was worried about you two,” you awkwardly played with your food, not daring to look at the expressions on their faces. But Taehyung couldn’t wipe away the smile on his face while Jungkook had a ghost of a smile on his lips. “Do not start teasing.”

“We won’t, we won’t,” Taehyung and Jimin looked at one another before Taehyung laughed a little. “You were worried. That’s so cute.”

“This is the last dinner I’m going to attend with you.”

After dinner, Jimin had made sure you get home and now, your boss knows where you live.

The morning after, you woke up rather confused, not even knowing when you fell asleep. Of course, you woke up way before your alarm was supposed to ring which caused you to lay in bed, reminiscing about the events that happened yesterday.

You woke up and did what you needed, getting ready for work. You were grateful to just have time without rushing. As you looked at yourself in the mirror, you noticed your face, your body, the way your body looked in the clothes you were wearing, and you were so close to turning around, heading to your closet, and change out of them, when you received a message.

Jimin 😁: Morning flower, don’t forget to stop by as soon as you come to work. I’ll be waiting

You smiled at the message and texted him back immediately, letting him know you’ll be there like you have been doing for the past two weeks, which was hard to leave it has been.

As you walked into the building after some time, you headed towards the elevator and pressed on Jimin’s floor, eyeing the time to make sure you haven’t come early.

You made it to the floor and walked out, making sure to curtly wave at Jimin’s assistant who made sure to give you her normal glare that you always tried to ignore. You were simply being nice to her.

“Good morning, flower,” Jimin greeted you as soon as you opened the door, a smile lifted on his lips. You smiled back at him, closing the door behind you.

“Good morning, Jimin,” you said, lifting your arms. He took away the Barbie band-aid and hummed in satisfaction once he saw that the wound you had been given was slowly disappearing. The bruise had been gone yesterday before dinner and it was barely seen now.

“You’re good to go,” he said, dropping his hands from your arm. “Don’t forget that you have my phone number, I have yours. I will check up on you. The others have it, too, and will check up on you, too. They already saved their contacts on your phone.”

“Okay, thank you,” you slightly bowed. “But I’ll be going now, I need to speak to Ari and Eunji.”

“Ah, yes,” Jimin nodded, staring at his iPad before smirking, “tell them about how dinner went yesterday.”

“I-“ his smirk grew once he heard you. He heard you scoff. “We are not going to talk about that.”

“Mhm, sure.”

“Be quiet,” you shushed him before opening the door. “Have a good day, I’ll see you later.”

“Bye, flower. Have a good day.”

“Bye.”

You went into the elevator again, pressing on the button of the floor you worked on. You stepped out as soon as it stopped, your eyes looking for Ari and Eunji who were already waving you over. You hurried to them, holding onto your bag.

“How was it? Tell us everything!” They both rushed out, grabbing your arms and pulling you into Eunji’s office, closing the door behind them so you could all have some privacy. They sat you down and stood in front of you, waiting for some details, but you were still processing the fact the way they just threw you onto the chair. “What happened?”

“Not even a good morning or anything,” you shook your head, staring at them. They hurried you again. “Fine, fine. It went… great. I’m not even gonna lie… I might’ve developed a crush on all of them.” They both gasped. “I thought it might’ve been the fact that they were giving me attention, but they’re such nice guys. I felt so… protected when I was with them.”

“What happened during dinner?”

“Well, Jimin and I went to his car and we got driver at the restaurant Mr. Kim owns,” you started to explain to your overly enthusiastic friends, “the younger Kim. We got there and I saw Mr. Min, Mr. Jeon, and Mr. Kim already waiting for us so we sat. They asked me about my day, I spoke, a waiter came and interrupted me, they glared at him for no reason, waiter left, they told me to continue, I did, ordered food, a group of people came and started causing arguments and some even started to fight with security. It was scary. Thankfully, Jimin and Jungkook sat by me so they tried to comfort me by placing their hands on my thighs.”

“That’s so hot,” Ari commented, her eyes wide and mouth agape as she continued to hear you.

“And Jungkook and Mr. Kim left to deal with the guys and Jimin reassured me that they won’t let the men touch me or hurt me in any way, which totally gave me butterflies,” you continued, your own cheeks and face flushing at recounting what had happened. “Jungkook and Mr. Kim came back, and they started teasing me because I was worried about the two, and yeah… that’s what happened. Oh! And then Jimin dropped me off at my house but nothing happened.”

“Oh, my God,” Eunji blinked, processing what you had told her and Ari, who was wearing the same expression as her. “They totally have a thing for you.”

You snorted. “They think of me as a friend and I don’t mind. I so far like having them as friends.”

“You’re gonna end up with them,” Ari breathed out, clearly freaking out about her friend getting such hot guys. “I’m calling it. You’re gonna be with them and I’m gonna be the godmother of your children.”

“Calm down,” you chuckled at her words. “Now, is that all you wanted to know?”

“Sadly, we have to get back to work, but we’re continuing this conversation during lunch,” Eunji pointed a pointed finger at you threateningly, squinting her eyes. “You better tell us more.”

“That was all to say,” you defended, laughing at the way they still looked shocked. “Come on, let’s get back to work.”

Lunch came just around the corner and it came very quickly. It caught you off-guard when Ari told you it was time for lunch, confusing you when you had assumed only an hour had gone by. 4 hours had gone by.

“I’m still trying to process everything,” Ari mumbled under her breath, running her hands over her hair. “I honestly never saw the day when my amazing, beautiful friend was going to have dinner with the CEOs of the company. I wonder if you’re gonna go out with the others because there’s more, huh? I’m already excited.”

You chuckled at her words. “Ari, calm down, please. Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves.”

“She’s right, y/n,” Eunji nodded at her friend’s words. “You might have lunch with the others since you already met half of the group. We’re just very happy for you.”

“Well, I’m not,” you sighed as you came to hear the shrilly voice of the one who despised you so much. Iseul. “Why are you having Dinner with Jungkook, Jimin, Taehyung, and Yoongi? Stop being creepy and stop bothering them, y/n!”

You ignored her as best as you could, but she continued to argue.

“Don’t worry, Iseul,” another worker spoke, “even if Y/n tried getting with the bosses, they wouldn’t even dare look at her when you see her stomach hanging from her pants.”

You looked down at your stomach as you stood with Ari and Eunji, about to throw your trash away, and you couldn’t help but feel agitated at the way your stomach did no such thing. It wouldn’t even be a bad thing if it did but, your stomach was barely seen because of your loose shirt underneath the blazer you had worn.

“Just leave us alone, Iseul,” you sighed. “We weren’t even doing anything to you.”

“You are doing everything to me, y/n,” she grabbed your arm and you cursed at her in your head. Why do they always aim for your arm? But, you felt a bit grateful she didn’t go for your face. “You know, my mother saw you with them and now, she wants to get rid of you and I agree! A person of your status doesn’t deserve to hang out with them.”

“Leave her alone, Iseul,” Eunji snapped at her. “I’m your supervisor, I will let Mr. Park know of what you’re doing to another employee.”

“Please, he won’t care,” Iseul rolled her eyes and you ignored the tears welling in your eyes at feeling the burning pain crossing your arm. She had very sharp nails. She smirked and looked around, your arm still in her hold. “Everyone! Y/n is trying to sleep with the bosses in order to receive a raise. She was seen hanging out with them yesterday after-hours.”

“Get a life, Iseul,” Ari glared at her, trying to take your arm away from her tight hold but, Iseul wouldn’t let go. You winced at the pain of her nails ripping the skin apart on your arm, blood starting to form. “You’re hurting her.”

“She got Minjun fired,” Iseul continued. “She’s a snitch and she’s doing this all for attention. She’s a troll and she think she’s better than all of us, obviously.”

“Aren’t you the one who thinks so, Iseul?” You breathed out, withering in her grasp. “Aren’t you the one who believed they are above us because we don’t have enough money like you do? Stop coming up with lies.”

“You deserve every insult,” Iseul glared at you. “You deserve to be called fat, a whale, a pig, because you are. Your clothes don’t fit you, y/n. Men don’t look your way because you’re too horrendous to look at. Your looks aren’t anything here because they’re non-existent. You are as ugly as they come and you will be nothing. Leave the boys alone because they… will never accept a fat girl like you.”

She let go of your arm and you winced even more, holding onto your arm while blood pooled on the palm of your hand. Eunji and Ari came to your side.

“We need to take you to Mr. Park,” Eunji mumbled, taking you to her office so you three could be farther away from everyone.

“Can you text him on my phone, please?” You asked them, hearing and feeling them immediately grabbing your phone from your pocket. They texted Jimin and made sure to text the others if they were busy because your arm was bleeding… quite a lot, surprisingly. Iseul had really sharp nails. “I swear she files them to be sharp enough.”

“Jimin said to go to his office,” Ari announced and they grabbed you, leading you towards the elevator as if they were your bodyguards. They pressed on the floor to Jimin’s and you eyed the wound.

“Are her nails knives?” You grimaced. “She made me bleed a lot.”

“She hurt you badly, y/n,” Ari frowned, making sure not to hurt you.

The elevator dinged and Jimin was already out of his office, staring at you three as soon as you came out. His eyes slightly widened at your bleeding arm and grabbed you, leading the other two inside.

“What happened?” He asked, making you sit on his chair while he grabbed his kit.

“Iseul happened, Mr. Park,” Eunji bit her nails, watching your arm. “She got pretty mad that y/n was hanging out with you and started insulting her.”

“Press on your wound, flower, please,” he gave you some things to place over your wound and you nodded, watching the way he hurried. He grabbed his phone. “Tell guards to grab Iseul in my division. They already know who she is…” He paused. “Tell them they need to kick her out. She’s fired.”

“Are you sure that’s okay?” You asked him. “It’s just… a scratch.”

“A scratch?” Jimin scoffed at your words. “Flower, that’s more than a scratch. I’m a bit more worried you might need some stitches. The wound is pretty open.”

“And she did that with nails,” Ari clenched her teeth at eyeing your pain. “You should have them take pictures of your hands and nails. They could still have blood on them.”

“Don’t worry, I had cameras installed,” Jimin said, kneeling in front of you. He grabbed your arm. “I started to have them installed once we needed evidence in order to get her fired. Now we have it and I can fire her.”

“It’s scary that she could do this with just nails,” you breathed out, watching Jimin work on your wound. “It doesn’t even seem real. Just a few minutes ago we were eating lunch and she did this.”

“Jungkook and Taehyung are coming,” Jimin told you. “They got worried because of your text messages and they want to check on you.”

“Hey, tell Taehyung I might feel better if I went to his restaurant and I tried the food,” you joked. “It was the best food.”

Jimin chuckled at your words.

“Now, flower, you know Taehyung will do anything. Just as Jungkook and I are close to doing something to Iseul. We just need to keep Jungkook away from her because he will get mad.”

“No, I don’t want drama,” you shook your head. “I’m going to get shit on so much tomorrow once everyone realizes Iseul got fired. I’m actually scared.”

“I’ll give you a guard,” Jimin looked at you, still kneeling in front of you. He grabbed your hand and Eunji and Ari noticed it looked like a proposal, if it wasnt’t for your bloodied arm. “I’m being serious.”

“I know, I know,” you breathed out. “I just would feel weird to have a bodyguard next to me.”

“Look, we’ll talk about this later. In the meantime, I need you to rest. Jungkook and Taehyung will be here shortly.”

Combined Beings (v)

So he calls you flower? I call that him being in love with you.”

You sighed at Ari’s words and shook your head. “Yeah, right.” You stuck the fork of food in your mouth, thinking about Jimin’s words. “Hey, did you know that he and the other bosses are dating?”

Ari and Eunji glanced at one another before turning to look at you with raised eyebrows. You gulped your food and mouthed a small ‘what?’, intimidated by their expressions.

“Y/n, it’s well known,” Ari answered, chuckling under her breath. “They are seen holding hands, together in every event, kissing, whatever. Their relationship is not so… hidden. It’s no secret.”

“I feel like I should keep up since all of you, except me, knew about that,” you breathed out, thanking the waiter for the quick refill they brought you. “I don’t know, it’s so… questionable why out of everyone, Mr. Park chose to talk to me.”

“You’re kind, y/n,” Eunji started. “You have a kind heart, it’s no surprise to me or to Ari. I think him forming a friendship with you and feeling so comfortable is nice. He and the others tend to… self-isolate themselves and aren’t as kind as they were to you.”

“I agree,” Ari nodded her head rapidly. “My cousin met them once and they just watched as she fell on her own. They literally walked past her. She was made fun of.”

“Poor her,” you winced at feeling the second-hand embarrassment, visualizing the situation. “Is she doing okay now?”

“Yeah, she’s fine now,” Ari replied, “after deleting all her social media. She was ridiculed.”

“There was a rumor, well, not exactly a rumor but,” Eunji immediately let out, remembering the situation that had happened. You and Ari stared at her as she continued, “supposedly, they got into a relationship with an older worker, but the worker left them for another person. She was fired from our division.”

“She was a worker in our division?” You gaped at your supervisor, shocked at the revelation. “I didn’t know that.”

“Me neither,” Ari said.

“It’s just within the supervisors,” Eunji explained, just as interested in the rumor as if she’s just hearing about it. “But, that’s why the bosses stopped interacting with us all and why supervisors are the only ones allowed to take up the documents.”

“How did that rumor even come to existence?”

“Well, Hana, the supervisor of the first division,” you three leaned in closer, “she noted that one of my workers was always seen in Mr. Jeon’s office. I got worried because I have never sent her up there but, I figured she had a complaint or just… something. I tried justifying her actions. I started noticing her slacking on work, getting to work late, and I told her she needed to stop getting her personal life get in the way of her work. Well, I got a complaint and I went to Mr. Kim, the eldest one, and he just told me not to get into their workers life.”

“What a jerk,” Ari scoffed, “and she’s such a bitch! You didn’t even do anything.”

“I thought so, too!” Eunji exclaimed, her head shaking side to side. “But, Mr. Kim thought I was getting into the employee’s lives. I was simply telling her to separate her personal and professional issues from one another because she wasn’t doing any work. At all.”

“It seems like this wasn’t even a rumor,” Ari frowned, processing the news just like you were. “What happened next?”

“I almost got fired but, Mr. Park came in and said they needed to talk so, I had to leave,” Eunji continued. “After that day, she was fired and in an hour, her desk was gone and no trace of her.”

“Do you think she had a thing with them?” You asked, your chin resting on your propped up arms.

“Definitely,” Eunji nodded, taking a sip of her beverage. “It wasn’t unusual and she and I were the only ones who knew what I had said. I never told any other worker what I told her or butt into their lives because they all did their work.”

“Was she there when we first joined?”

“No,” Eunji responded, “she was there a couple months prior to you two. As soon as I hired you, she was already gone.” She turned to look at you. “If anything is to happen between you and them all, don’t lose yourself like she did. I’m your friend, yes, but don’t start giving up on everything else because of your relationship.”

You chuckled at your friend’s words. “I will never, Eunji. But don’t worry, nothing will happen.”

“Mhm, sure, flower,” you playfully rolled your eyes at hearing Ari’s teasing tone. “I still find that name cute. But, hey, how were the other bosses?”

“Oh, God,” you breathed out, exhaling from your mouth. “They’re all so… ethereal. Literally.” Your friends laughed at you. “I’m not even kidding. I met all of them, Namjoon, Taehyung, Jungkook, Hoseok, Jimin, and Yoongi. I haven’t meet the other one.”

“Ah, Jin,” Eunji commented. “Yeah, he doesn’t show his face a lot. He’s the scariest out of all of them in my opinion. Probably has to do with him being the eldest.”

“Well, I met him and such but he wasn’t… entirely too happy to see me with Jimin,” you explained, recounting what had happened. “I didn’t exactly think much of it. I thought maybe he was just trying to be professional or something.”

“Yeah, or something,” Eunji gulped down the rest of the food before leaning back against her chai, thinking. “Does Mr. Park know about Iseul?”

“He wants to catch her in the act,” you answered. “I told him about Ari and we took pictures of her wound but, we didn’t catch her doing it.”

“And whoever saw is afraid of her so, no witnesses,” Ari shook her head out of annoyance, pinching the bridge of her nose. “I don’t believe in violence—”

“Yes you do.”

“—but, I want to punch her.”

“I think half of us want to do that,” Eunji agreed, letting a sigh escape her lips. “But, in the meantime, let’s hope that she doesn’t bother us as much. Her mom already called me saying she’ll have me fired, I can’t do much.”

“Her mom needs to mind her own business,” Ari huffed, clearly just as irritated as you at hearing the news. “At her old age and she’s staring drama because her daughter is rude.”

“Let’s just hope she gets caught.”

After dinner with your friends, you headed home, not too excited to go to work tomorrow. You also thought about getting a pet, it was getting lonely coming back to your apartment with no one eager to greet you.

But as you wandered to sleep after a long shower, you could only think about Jimin’s face and the way he would get close to you.

Heading to work, you immediately sat on your chair by your desk, avoiding Iseul as best as you could. You ignored the other group of men and women whispering amongst themselves, glancing at you while they laughed.

Now, you looked down at your clothes and judged yourself even more.

“Y/n,” Eunji headed towards. “Mr. Park called me. He said you didn’t go up like you usually do.”

“I’m going, I’m going.”

You did your usual routine going up and the elevators opened to reveal a young woman by Binna’s desk, saddening you that your new friend has now gone on maternity leave.

“Yes?” The woman asked you, looking you up and down and you wondered if the outfit you wore (a black blouse, with black high waisted trousers, heels, and a belt) was a bad decision.

“I’m here to see Mr. Park,” you told her, watching as she typed away on the computer before glancing at you and looking at the screen.

“I don’t see him having something planned right now,” she said. “I’m sorry but if there’s nothing that indicates Mr. Park has an appointment with you then I can’t see you let him.”

You nodded out of understanding. “Can’t you call him and ask him?” She made a very fake pity expression, her eyebrows furrowing as she shook her head.

“I’m sorry, but I’m sure he wouldn’t mind you making another appointment,” she smiled at you and you sighed, nodding. You can deal with not seeing him for a day.

“Okay then, just let him—”

“Y/n.”

You looked to the side and saw Jungkook coming out of Jimin’s office, putting on his blazer over the black button up he had on.

“Mr. Jeon,” you bowed to him and he did the same, his eyes raking themselves over your body figure and the way you looked so beautiful. “Uh, can you let Jimin know I’ll see him when he writes me down?”

“You don’t need an appointment,” Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows before glaring at the new worker. “Y/n is allowed to walk in.”

“Sorry, sir.”

“Um, thank you, though,” you thanked her as Jungkook turned around, the glare the new assistant had thrown at you only seen by you. You shook your head. People really didn’t like you.

“There you are.”

You looked up to see Jimin sighing in relief at the sight of you, thanking Jungkook who had opened the door for you.

“Sorry, I forgot that I needed to come here,” you softly defended yourself. “But, I’m here now.”

“Let your assistant know that she doesn’t need an appointment to see you,” Jungkook said with his usual deadpanned expression. “If I wouldn’t have come out, you wouldn’t have seen her in days.”

“I’ll let her know,” Jimin nodded before he watched Jungkook make way to the couch, even though he had been told by the man that he was to leave because of a meeting. He sighed and turned to look at you, his fingers finding their usual place to your arms.

He raised your sleeves, the cool feeling of his rings against your skin sending shivers down your arms, raising goosebumps. He chuckled at seeing the effect.

“Has Iseul been bothering you?” Jungkook spoke from his space, not glancing at you in any way. Jimin stared at you, clearly just as interested.

“Well, it’s only the beginning of the day,” you shrugged, flinching a little when Jimin peeled off the new bandaid you had put on. You had accidentally scabbed at the wound and it started to bleed when you had been brushing your teeth.

“Did you pick at it?” He asked, scoffing under his breath as he looked back at you. You puffed your cheeks and shook your head, clearly lying. “Flower, I don’t tolerate lying.”

“Flower?” Jungkook’s head perked up at the nickname. Jimin rolled his eyes. “Hmm, that name suits you.”

“I know, I came up with it,” Jimin said, not looking at the youngest and you looked back and forth between them, watching Jimin place a new bandaid on top of the wound.

“Not you, Jimin,” you looked at Jungkook as he stared at you before looking away, clearing his throat. You watched as he took off his blazer, raising up the sleeves of his button up and then did you realize you were matching with him. Well, with he and Jimin.

“Oh, by the way,” Jimin started, taking a step back to sit on the edge of his desk, “Yoongi and Taehyung invited you to have lunch with them.”

You looked down at your bandaid, believing that Jimin had been talking to Jungkook. But Jungkook calling out for you made you make eye-contact with Jimin, who had an eyebrow raised.

“With me?” You frowned, pointing to yourself. Jimin chuckled.

“They both want to get to know you,” he explained, a smile spreading on his lips. “They told me so yesterday.”

They, in fact, did tell him yesterday.

It was late at night, around 3:33 AM. Taehyung, Yoongi, and Jimin were in the metallic basement of theirs, two men sitting in front of them, beaten down.

“Hey,” Taehyung punched a man on the face, “do you think you can tell Y/n if it’s okay that she has lunch with me? I want to get to know her.”

“If she wants,” Jimin nodded. “I have to ask her but she’s very shy so, I might come with you.”

“I want to go, too,” Yoongi piped in after beating up the other man to a pulp, his face unrecognizable after he got punched and kicked repeatedly. “Free food and all.”

Jimin and Taehyung glanced at one another before Jimin squinted his eyes at the older man, nodding slowly. “Uhuh… whatever you say.”

So after that talk, Jimin knew that you would either say no or yes because you felt like you had to. He knew how nervous you get.

“Um, I don’t know them that well,” your brows furrowed together. “I feel nervous.”

“I’ll be there, don’t worry,” Jimin reassured you, his hand grabbing yours. Jungkook watched you. “If you don’t want to, you don’t have to. But expect Taehyung to bother you about it during work.”

“Uh, never mind, I’ll go if you’re there,” you smiled a bit awkwardly before turning to look at Jungkook. “Will you join as well?”

The way your eyes looked at him made his stomach flutter and his fingers itched to squish your cheeks. He blamed it on Jimin for always talking about you.

“If it’s tomorrow, I can’t,” Jungkook replied, staring at his watch. “I have a meeting soon and then tomorrow… I’m packed until the afternoon.”

“That sucks,” you mumbled, trying hard to look away from his tattooed arm. You did so after a while, ignoring Jimin’s smirk while Jungkook tried to hide the smile threatening to spread on his lips. “I’m sure the guys will save you food.”

“We’ll just change it to dinner,” Jimin spoke up. “It will be better for you,” he stared right at you, “to not worry about coming back from work late. Eunji will have my ass if I have one of her workers come back late.”

You thought back about what Eunji had mentioned yesterday. The woman that had been seeing them.

“If it’s for dinner, I’m down to go,” Jungkook shrugged. “I’m done by the time everyone leaves.”

“Then it’s set, tomorrow, when you come up here, we’ll leave from then. Is that okay?” Jimin now made sure his attention was on you, thinking that if he hadn’t, you would’ve believed the question wasn’t aimed at you. You nodded. “On the other hand, come back later. If Iseul is causing issues, have a witness and I’ll make sure that it’s enough to have her out, okay?”

“Okay,” you breathed out before looking at the time on the clock. “Crap, I’m late. It’s your fault.”

“I’m pretty much innocent here,” Jimin raised his hand and you softly glared at him, turning around to leave in a hurry. You hurried towards the elevator, immediately pressing on the button to your work floor, scolding yourself for taking too long.

Making it to the floor, you hurried towards Eunji.

“I am not to blame for my lateness,” you rushed out. She looked at you. “Blame Jimin. It’s his fault.”

She chuckled and nodded.

“I’ll call him and scold him.”

Do I really have to wear this one?”

You eyed the new bandaid on your arm, a camouflaged pattern that alerted you Jimin simply chose it to tease you. He eyed you with a smirk and chuckled before taking another box out of the drawer of his desk.

“No,” he answered. He showed you the Hello Kitty bandaids. “I got you these. These suit you much better.”

“I mean, I don’t mind the camouflaged ones,” you shrugged, feeling bad at the way you reacted at seeing it. Jimin hummed and leaned against his desk.

“Mmm, I don’t like them,” he said. “I only want the best for you.” He smiled at you before grabbing the box of the camouflaged bandaids. “I’ll just give these to Iseul.”

You arched an eyebrow at him and he snickered. “You’re so mean.”

“Hey, she’s just as mean,” he admitted. “Look, you think I don’t know but I do. I just can’t do much since we don’t have evidence of her hurting you specifically.”

“What if she hurt another person…?” Your eyes wandered as you thought about Ari and the way Iseul grabbed her arm.

“I can take it to Namjoon,” Jimin thought about it. “We can work something along there as soon as we see what she has done. I’m just not excited to deal with her mother.”

“Ah,” you nodded at his words, “yeah, I heard she’s… a lot to handle. I don’t want to assume, though, based on rumors since I don’t know her.”

“You are so adorable,” Jimin pinched your face and you immediately tried to get away from his hold. He chuckled at your flustered state. “It’s okay to assume on rumors as long as you don’t let it affect the way you treat that person, you know? But, I can confirm she is a lot to handle.”

“How so?” You frowned, tilting your head to the side as you looked at the man.

“Iseul was mostly raised by her mother,” Jimin explained. “The two have a lot in common and Iseul never had anyone to correct her wrongs so she thinks that her mother’s ways and methods are the way to go.”

“Oh,” you let out. Of course, Iseul would have a terrible mother, too. Ari really scored having an amazing mother. “I feel bad for Iseul.”

“As much as I want to tell you that you should,” Jimin started before shaking his head, “don’t. She got told so many times by her therapist, by us, by her friends, her step-father, that her mother isn’t someone to trust.”

“Yeah, but she’s used to the only parental figure that’s been apart of her life since she was born,” you tried to reason. “Iseul would disagree. She doesn’t want to hear that someone she’s looked up to is not who they say they are. I would completely ignore everyone, too.”

“She bullies you and humiliated you yet you try to understand her life,” Jimin breathed out, staring at you from under his eyelashes. You waved him off. “As someone who personally knows her and her family, she’s done much worse than what she does to you here. Don’t excuse her actions, okay?”

You exhaled through your nose and nodded slowly. “Okay…” He hummed. “But, wait, you guys let her into this company even though you knew she has done so much worse than… bully people?”

“She’s a manipulator,” Jimin started, standing in front of you. “You see, we owed her father and giving her a job here was enough. But, she is just… a lot. She messes with your mind a bit.”

“That is totally not scary…” you internally shivered and he placed a hand on your forearm, his thumb rubbing itself over the bandaid.

“We won’t let her hurt you or anyone,” he promised, his eyes staring deep into you. “That’s why we need evidence of her hurting you or anyone so, we have an excuse to kick her out.”

“I’ll try to see what I can do,” you frowned, sighing. He smiled a bit at your expression and you jumped when the door opened. Jimin didn’t react but simply took a step back.

You two turned to look at who came and three men were standing there, staring back just as intensely. You gulped.

“Who is this?” One of them spoke and Jimin’s hands went into his pockets. He let out a sigh and he turned to look at you.

“You can go now,” he softly spoke to you, his eyes glancing at your figure back to the three men. You nodded and excused yourself, walking out of the office. The three men moved away and one kept glaring at you, closing the door behind you. “What are you three doing here?”

“Well, we sent you a message.”

“Who was that?” Jimin looked at the eyes of his partner and rolled his eyes at the tone he used.

“It was no one, Jin,” he answered, clearly not wanting to give away too much information about you. He knew Jin would immediately tried to fire you if Jimin, or if any one of them, tried to start something with you romantically.

“Is that the girl Taehyung was talking about?” Yoongi raised an eyebrow, draping his jacket over the couch. Jimin eyed the apparent wound on this arm, the blood coming out of the cut that was so small but deep.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Jimin cleared his throat, sitting back down on his chair.

“Mmm, sure,” Yoongi sarcastically let out, watching as Hoseok grabbed the medical aid box Jimin had brought out for you. “She’s exactly how Taehyung described her.”

“Taehyung forgets if he wore the same socks as the day before,” Jimin talked back and Yoongi raised an eyebrow at the way he spoke. “Look, she’s just a friend. I can’t say anything to any of you because someone,” he glanced at Jin, “will fire them.”

“I’m saving us all from being hurt,” Jin replied, giving Jimin a deadpanned expression. “You end up choosing wrong partners for us.”

“I am not choosing anyone for us,” Jimin argued back, soft enough that their voices won’t reach Binna outside. “I chose a friend. If she ends up as someone I romantically like, you all have to at least talk to her and get to know her. Even you.”

“I will never like her,” Jin glared at him, shaking his head before leaving.

Jimin sighed and looked at the others who were grabbing onto the Barbie bandaids that belonged to you. Yoongi and Hoseok stared at him.

“I’m pretty sure you like her already if you bought her these,” Hobi grabbed the bandaids between his fingers. “You don’t even get us bandaids and we live with you and we’ve kissed you 24/7.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking,” Jimin tried waving off again but the two stood up and went towards him. He eyed them both. “What?”

“Nothing, nothing,” Hoseok smirked and he stepped back, hands up in mock surrender. “I think I should go flirt with her, or maybe, you know, I should set her up with one of the guys that work for us.”

“Leave her alone,” Jimin breathed out, his eyes burning holes into their bodies. They could only chuckle at his obvious jealousy.

They could never feel jealous at Jimin obviously liking another person that wasn’t neither of the 6. After all, all 7 of them had a deeper connection than anyone so they wouldn’t mind.

“I’d like to meet her,” Yoongi mumbled, his gaze dropping to his arm as he placed a bandaid on the wounded skin. “Hey, now she and I have matching bandaids.”

“These are ugly,” Hoseok scrunched his nose out of the disgust as soon as he eyed the camouflaged ones you had disliked, too. “What made you think these would be nice to buy?”

“It was supposed to be as a joke,” Jimin glanced at them and then back at the iPad he had switched to using. “Shut up, don’t look at me like that.”

“Can we meet her?” Hoseok sat on the chair in front of Jimin, pouting in a way that he knew he would give in. Jimin sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger.

“Fine,” he said. “She comes later in the afternoon. Come around later by then, she’ll come by.”

“Wow, you two have some type of schedule?” Yoongi asked, his lips tilting up to a smirk.

“She gets harassed by the workers in my division,” Jimin explained, placing his iPad on the desk. He clasped his hands together. “Iseul is the cause of it.”

“Iseul Kim?” Yoongi questioned and Jimin nodded. “I forgot she works here. She’s been bothering the workers in my division. I have been watching her every time I come down here but no one is coming forward. I can’t make a proper statement to have her removed if no one speaks of the bullying.”

“She’s rich, what do you expect?” Hoseok asked, staring at them both. “She probably uses us as an excuse for her actions so, that probably scares the workers.”

“What if we kill her?” Jimin suggested and the older men gave him looks that made him raise his hands mid-air. “Hey, I’m just asking. No one would suspect us.”

“Her father would know,” Yoongi pointed out and Jimin groaned, rubbing his face with his ring-clad fingers. “Listen, when she comes over, talk to her more. I’ll try to talk to Jin. You know how much this affects him.”

“I know,” Jimin breathed out. “I’ll try to apologize and talk to him when I get back home.”

“You better.”

Combined Beings (iv)

It wasn’t long before the day had ended and you were already heading towards the floor Jimin was at.

Ari and Eunji were to be waiting for you in the main lobby, the three of you going out to eat to celebrate you and the friendship you have created with the boss no one had even gotten the chance to talk to.

“I’ll miss you, Binna,” you told the woman, having been told the news that she was to have her maternity leave, meaning you won’t be able to chat with her every time you came up. “Who am I going to talk to about what happens in there?”

She chuckled. “I’ll miss you just as much, y/n, and don’t worry, I’m sure the person who will be in my place won’t be… bad. Hopefully not.”

“Yeah, hopefully,” you sighed, shaking your head before you hugged her as best as you could since her bump stood between you two. “Have a safe birth. I wish you nothing but happiness and good health to you and the baby.”

“Thank you, y/n! And please don’t lose your mind with Mr. Park or any of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of them appear.”

“I’ll try not to.”

Waving one last time, you walked into Jimin’s office, closing the door behind you.

Automatically, he walked towards you when you came inside, his fingers running themselves over the band-aid and the bruises.

“Did you speak to Binna?” He asked you, glancing up at you before nodding his head, slowly dropping your arms. You nodded your head, giving him an answer.

“Yeah, I told her how much I’d miss her and she told me not to lose my mind being with you and meeting the others,” you chuckled a bit, ignoring his playful glare.

“I think we’re pretty fun,” you jumped at hearing the new voice and looked over your shoulder. You came upon the figures of the two men you had seen in the morning sitting on the couch, staring at you with such amusement.

You chuckled nervously, glaring at the way Jimin was now snorting at you, clearly making fun of you.

“Um, yeah,” you scratched your arm nervously, “I believe that it’s just, you know, I don’t know any of you other than Jimin.”

“Jimin?” One of them spoke, questioning the name since Jimin was your boss.

“Mr. Park, I’m sorry,” you immediately corrected. “I’m sorry, I don’t know your names.”

“Just call them Yoongi and Hoseok,” Jimin pointed out who was who, but you cleared your throat a little and nudged him. He looked down at you and leaned a little, knowing too much about your nervous and shy habits. “Yes?”

“I prefer calling them by their last names,” you mumbled into his ear.

“Yoongi, Mr. Min,” you nodded at his words, “and Hoseok, Mr. Jung. Got it?” You nodded yet again. He smiled before straightening his posture. “This is y/n, she’s a worker in my division.”

“Oh, you’re not a supervisor?” Hoseok questioned you. You shook your head. “I figured that’s why Jimin let you in so easily into his office.”

“No, I just came here one day because my supervisor had to leave early so I did her a favor for drop off her work,” you cleared it up, pursing your lips. “Um, but,

I’ll take my leave if that’s what you want. I don’t mind.”

You didn’t mind because you felt awkward under their stares. Especially from Mr. Min who was glaring at you, though there was a sense of a smile on his lips. It was very confusing.

“No, stay,” he spoke before gesturing towards the couch in front of them. You tentatively moved towards the couch, Jimin following behind. You made sure though, to keep your eye on the time to make sure you didn’t keep your friends waiting downstairs. “So, what do you work on?”

“I mostly work with both numbers and writing,” you replied, playing with your fingers. “I check the statistics and make sure no numbers are out of place. If I don’t feel like doing numbers, I just simply write down the observations on certain products that are of no use and whose numbers are decreasing.”

“I could never work with numbers,” Yoongi shook his head, listening to every word that escaped your mouth. “That’s why I work on the division with sending letters, books, CD covers, anything with writing instead of math or science.”

“He’s just lacking in that sense, you know?” Jimin’s shoulder hit yours as he nudged you, teasing the older man. Yoongi flipped him off. “Hey, hey, I didn’t say anything wrong.”

“I hope we’re not keeping you for too long,” Hoseok glanced at you. “You seem like you have somewhere to be since you keep glancing at the time.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be rude,” you bowed your head to them, “I just have my friends waiting for me in the lobby. I don’t want to leave them hanging for too long.”

“Eunji and Ari, right?” Jimin asked and you nodded in response. He grabbed his blazer. “Let’s go. I’ll take you to the main lobby so you won’t get scolded or harassed.”

“I never thought I’d hear you say those words,” Hoseok shook his head. He looked at you. “I’m sorry for what you’ve been experiencing. Please try to get evidence based on what you or other workers have been experiencing. It is necessary for us, the public, and those affected.”

“Of course,” you said. Jimin led you towards the door, opening it and you turned to look at the two, eyeing their beautiful features. “It was nice to meet you two.”

“It was nice to meet you, y/n,” Hoseok smiled a bit at you before you walked away, already noting that Yoongi wouldn’t look your way since he was staring at his wound.

With one last wave, you and Jimin headed towards the elevator, noting that Binna had already left.

“They were nice,” you told Jimin in order to break the silence. “I was told that Yoongi would be very intimidating but, he seemed very nice.”

Jimin let out a small chuckle, his hands behind his back as you two watched the number on the elevator decrease.

“If I tell him that, he’ll get more intimidating,” he breathed out. “Yoongi is very… cold in his sense to not let anyone in other than us. He’s nice but, he has his moments. He’s a nice guy, though. He makes amazing breakfast in bed.”

“Oh, are you two dating?” You looked up at him curiously. He hid his smile. “You don’t have to tell me, by the way. You’re my boss and it’s not my business.”

“Flower,” you froze at the nickname, “I thought it was obvious I’m dating all six of them. We don’t hide it from the public or the media.”

“I don’t really look you all up that’s why,” you defended yourself. You could hear him laughing silently, his shoulders moving up and down. “Leave me alone.”

He laughed even more at your whine, finding the situation funny and the way you innocently asked him if he was dating Yoongi. It wouldn’t be funny to others, but the way you didn’t know he was dating your other 6 bosses, well, he couldn’t help but laugh.

He was pretty sure everyone in the company knew about it.

“This is why you’re my favorite employee,” Jimin laughed out before wiping at his eyes, getting rid of the tears that were threatening to escape. “Oh, God. You made my day.”

“I don’t want to talk about it,” you hid your face. Of course they were dating. It was obvious and the way they held hands whenever one would come in. You just didn’t think much of it.

Much to your liking, the doors to the elevator opened and you two came out of it, heading towards the figures waiting for you.

“Here she is,” Jimin spoke up, his cheeks flushed from laughing so hard. He turned to look at you. “Be safe. Don’t forget tomorrow you have to come in again. I’ll buy you more band-aids.”

“Jimin, I’m fine,” you waved him, ignoring the way Ari and Eunji glanced between the two of you. “Stop wasting money on me. We have enough band-aids.”

“There is never enough,” he smiled and waved at the other two women. He laughed one more time at you and turned around towards the elevator. Before the doors closed, he waved at you. “Bye, flower.”

The doors closed shut and you turned to look at your friends who were staring at you with their mouths and eyed wide opened.

“Did he just call you flower?” Eunji asked, pointing towards the elevator where Jimin was at.

“He just called you flower,” Ari breathed out softly, processing the news in her head. You shook your head and grabbed their shoulders, leading them out of the building. They were still in shock.

“He just called her flower.”

“He just called her flower!”

“Jimin likes a girl.”

Taehyung and Namjoon looked at Jungkook as soon as his comment escaped his lips, their food being placed on the table in front of them.

“What?” Namjoon questioned, raising an eyebrow at the blonde-haired man who froze in his spot. “What do you mean you like a girl?”

Jimin sighed and he glared at Jungkook before looking away. He eyed the men in front of him who were giving him a stern look.

“Look, I’m not in love with her.”

“Let’s not forget this is how it started with—” Taehyung got caught off by Jimin’s annoyed tone. He leaned back against his chair.

“I know,” he said. “You don’t need to remind me. But she’s different! She’s not like her at all, I’m serious. She’s much more than that old hag.”

“That’s enough,” Namjoon stepped in between the two, noticing that their stare off was going to cause an argument. He didn’t need them arguing in a room full of people. “Listen, Jimin, you can have an attraction, whatever, but I know Jin is gonna deal with this the hardest. Do not tell him.”

“You shouldn’t give her the satisfaction of us not being able to let in another person because she left,” Jimin argued. All three eyed him. “You can all feel that we’re missing something, someone. It’s not just me.”

“What do you think?” Namjoon looked at Jungkook as he ate his food, acting as if he didn’t put Jimin on the spot.

“I met her,” Jungkook explained. “She seemed nice. Very awkward. Very… quiet. She gets harassed at work, won’t even snitch. It’s very obvious who does it but, we can’t do anything without catching that person on the act.”

“Hmm…” Namjoon hummed. “Send her up to your office when I’m there. I want to see her.”

“I want to see her, too,” Taehyung piped in rather excitedly, a smile on his face. “I want to see how beautiful she is.”

“She is stunning,” Jimin described. “You should see her eyes. After everything we’ve seen and done, I’d want to see her eyes after everything.”

Namjoon eyed the way Jimin spoke, his eyes glistening at even mentioning the girl. He wondered but, he knew he and the boys had to guard themselves. They couldn’t let themselves be hurt again.

During the next day, you came to work with Ari right by your side. She always liked heading to work with you and always made sure you ate a proper breakfast since you would not eat anything at work. Iseul and Minjun were to blame.

“My mom has been waiting for you to come over,” Ari said. “Wants to introduce you to her new recipe. But, it’s not really a new recipe. She just added a new seasoning.”

“Ugh, your mother’s food makes me want to die and reincarnate into a new person so I could taste it like it’s the first time,” you groaned out before jokingly slapping the wall by the button of the elevator since it was just you two.

“And then my aunt is asking for you, too,” Ari bit into her cookie. “You know how much she thinks of you as her daughter.”

“She is like my mom,” you shrugged, going inside the elevator with Ari, pressing the button for the floor you two work on. “Swear, having mommy issues really does make up for it when I have wonderful women loving me.”

“Your mom sucks ass,” Ari shook her head. “She really dislikes you because she projects her own insecurities to you. Like, she really said, ‘my daughter isn’t the weight I want her to be, I’m going to mistreat her’, and that’s stupid.”

“Mother’s.”

“Are we talking about how terrible mothers can be?” Eunji spoke up as soon as you and Ari came into her office to drop off the coffee she liked from her favorite café. “Because, I’ve met so many terrible mother’s.”

“I have a terrible mother, have you met her?” You smiled sarcastically, grabbing a donut your supervisor offered you both. “But, anyway, was the plan for today?”

“Don’t you need to go to Mr. Park’s office?” Ari nudged your shoulder, wiggling her eyebrows in a teasing manner.

You puffed your cheeks and nodded. “Do you have any documents, though, to turn in?”

“No, I turned in everything yesterday after you two left,” Eunji answered, glancing down at her computer before looking at you. “Yup, he asks for you right now.”

“I’m going, I’m going.”

You turned around and left, heading towards the elevator. Doing the usual routine, you walked towards Mr. Park’s assistant, smiling at her.

“Good morning, Binna,” you greeted, having read her name by her desk. “I’m here to see Mr. Park.”

“Good morning, y/n,” she smiled back at you, “and go ahead. He’s already waiting for you. He’s joined, though, by Mr. Jeon and both Mr. Kim’s. Thought I’d let you prepare.”

You furrowed your eyebrows at the added names and mentally screamed at yourself to not be too awkward. You wouldn’t be able to sleep if you did anything embarrassing.

“Thank you, Binna,” you bowed and left, heading towards the door of the office and opened it, poking your head in to make sure who you were going to be facing. “Um, Mr. Park?”

A head perked at your voice and the others turned to look at you, staring you down as you stepped forward.

“Y/n!” Jimin smiled at you. “Now, you know why I called you up here, right?” You nodded. “Mmm, good. So, let me see your arms.” You extended your arms and he eyed them, tracing the skin with his ring-clad fingers. “By the way, this is Namjoon,” said man smiled a little at you and bowed his head, “and Taehyung.”

Taehyung simply waved before placing his hands on his thighs, leaning back against the couch. Jungkook curtly nodded his head when you looked at him, continuing to read the documents he was staring at.

“Hello,” you smiled at them.

Namjoon eyed you and the way the blouse hugged your curves. But, Jimin was right. Your eyes, he noticed those first. Though it wasn’t a big deal, it was nice to see someone look at them like they’re normal human beings.

“Okay, you’re all set,” Jimin nodded at you, his hands lingering on your forearms. “Come see me at the end of the day.”

“Yes, sir,” you breathed out, feeling nervous at the intense stare down both Namjoon and Taehyung were giving you. You could feel the way their eyes burned holes into your body and you could see that they wouldn’t look away. “Um, is there anything else?”

“Nope,” Jimin shook his head. “We’re all set for today. Just send up some documents later on. Eunji already knows.”

“Okay,” you nodded. You slightly puffed your cheeks as you glanced at each one of your bosses. “It was nice to meet you two.”

“Likewise.”

You cleared your throat and walked away, immediately hurrying up so you could get out of the hot room that was suffocating you little by little.

You closed the door behind you and walked away towards the elevator, waving at Binna one last time before the doors closed.

As you made it to your floor, Ari was already waiting for you, a smile on her face.

“So?” She questioned, wrapping her arm around yours as she led you towards your desk. “How was it?”

“I met two of our other bosses,” you answered. “They were very attractive but, they made me so nervous. They just kept staring at me.”

“Because you’re beautiful, duh,” Ari commented. “Look, just be careful okay? I heard a couple of… rumors that they might be involved with the wrong crowd. I wouldn’t have cared but, it seems that Mr. Park has taken a liking to you.”

“Yeah, I’ll be careful,” you smiled reassuringly at your friend. “But, hopefully they’re just rumors.”

As the day continued, lunch arrived rather quickly surprisingly. You and Ari were in the lunch room, eating the food Ari’s mother had made you both.

“You should get a cat,” Ari started. “I would definitely go to your house even more if you had a cat.”

“Wow, not even for me?” You gasped dramatically, holding onto your chest. “That’s fucked up. I do nothing but love you.”

Ari snorted. “Shut up.” You chuckled and continued eating as you listened to her. “You give me cat person vibes so, you should definitely get one.”

“I would want to,” you said, “but, I can’t have pets in my apartment. The owner is allergic to every kind of animal so, he’ll sneeze from a mile away.”

“Fuck him!” Ari exclaimed, causing other workers to glance at you out of annoyance. “We’ll keep the cat hidden and when he does a house check, I’ll take her away.”

“We?” You questioned her voice of words, smiling a little at her. “But, I’ll think about it. Having a pet wouldn’t be bad.”

“I’m telling you,” Ari said, standing up as she had finished her food. You followed quickly behind, your tray in one hand and a drink on the other. “Get a cat and name it after Mr. Park.”

You giggled at her choice of words before you were blocked by two people.

“Oh, God,” you sighed, rolling your eyes as you stared at Iseul and Minjun. “What do you two want?”

“Back away from Jimin and Jungkook,” Iseul glared at you. “They don’t care about you so, stop being weird and leave them alone.”

“Okay?” You confusedly questioned before Ari stood by your side. “They’re not yours so I don’t see why I have to “back away” from them.”

Iseul stepped closer. “Stay away from them, you fat bitch. You’re not pretty, you’re not anything. Everyone here hates you and I can’t wait until Jimin and Jungkook see the whale that you are.”

You would normally cower away from her words but lately, you have just gotten annoyed at the way she spoke.

“You bullying me is very elementary school of you, Iseul,” you commented. “It’s embarrassing of you thinking that you can easily insult the way I look and I’ll automatically be on my knees begging to look like you.”

“Minjun, stop being Iseul’s little bitch, yeah?” Ari sarcastically smiled at the man and he stepped forward, too.

“Shut the fuck up, Ari,” Minjun glared at her.

Ari shrugged. “You know I’m right.”

Minjun headed towards you, grabbing your arm tightly. “You and your bitch friend need to shut up. Iseul is right. Our bosses do not give a shit about you so stop acting like they do. No one would ever see you as anything but a whale trying to fit into clothes that don’t fit her.”

Every co-worker there laughed at his words and you simply stared at him, knowing that the bruise he would leave on your skin would be an issue later on.

Ari deviously smiled at the way Minjun left his finger marks behind on your skin. Surely now, he would be fired for harassing you.

“Now, you pig,” Iseul smiled at you, “stay away from them. They want me. I’m to be their future wife and my mom is making sure I am. Before you know it, I’ll be your boss.”

She and her minion walked away, leaving you to look at the skin of your arm, watching it turn red.

“Mr. Park is not going to like that,” Ari commented, shaking her head. You two walked away from the lunch room. “Sometimes, I want to punch that stupid mouth of hers. She’s so delusional.”

“It hurts much more this time,” you whined, resting your head on her shoulder. “Kiss it better, Ari.”

“Stop,” Ari chuckled and waved you off, making you laugh with her. “But hey, don’t listen to her. You’re not a whale or a pig and your body looks hot as hell in the clothes you wear.”

You smiled at your friend’s words. “Thank you, Ari. It fucking hurt a lot. Does it look bad?”

“Yep,” Ari nodded, inspecting the new wound. “Shit, you’re even bleeding a little. Mr. Park won’t like that, you know?”

“I know,” you breathed out before shaking your head. “He’s gonna want me to tell him. I can’t…”

“Look, don’t be afraid of Iseul,” Ari tried her best to reassure you. “She doesn’t give a crap about Minjun so, just snitch on him.”

“I can’t just snitch on him,” you told her. “If he gets fired, everyone will know it’s me and then the bullying will get worse. I’m already drained from all of the harassment now, I can’t imagine later on when everyone realizes that I snitched on one of their own, as stupid as that sounds.”

“Hey, if it gets worse, I’m being serious by the way,” she grabbed your shoulder and shook it gently, “tell Mr. Park. You know he already has your back.”

“Yeah, until he realizes that Iseul is the one doing this to me,” you stressed out. “Iseul’s mother is friends with them. It’s scary.”

“Well, she claims they are,” Ari rolled her eyes at the mention of the girl. “We don’t know they’re relationship but, Mr. Park and Mr. Jeon didn’t seem entirely thrilled when she interrupted them when they were with you.”

“Hmm…” You thought about it before slowly nodding your head. “Yeah, I should test the water first. I should briefly mention Iseul to Mr. Park.”

“You should,” Ari nodded, drinking from her water bottle. “Just try to see what their relationship is like. If you get that feeling that they’re friends, don’t say anything yet. Let them catch her in the act.”

“You’re right.”

As the day went on, it was finally time for you to face Mr. Park in his office.

You did the usual routine: heading towards the elevator, pressing the button where Mr. Park’s office was at, waiting anxiously, greeting Binna, and standing in front of the door nervously.

You went in and saw him looking down at his watch before his head snapped towards hearing you open the door. You smiled a little at him.

“I was waiting for you,” he chuckled a little, stepping forward until he was right in front of you. He grabbed your arm, the one that Minjun didn’t hurt, and you felt the way his fingers gave you shivers. They were so cold.

“You shouldn’t be waiting for me,” you told him. He looked at you under his lashes before smirking.

“And I won’t listen to you,” he said, grabbing the other arm. His smirk immediately disappeared as soon as he eyed the finger marks, the ones that been bleeding again after you cleaned them. “Who did this?”

“Look,” you started, not looking into his eyes, “I appreciate your concern but, it will get worse if you do fire that person…”

“Is there a group of people who are harassing you?” He arched an eyebrow at you, his face so serious it scared you. You tentatively nodded. “I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen. I don’t tolerate bullying or harassment in my company, especially my division. If you don’t tell me who it is, I will tell Namjoon.”

You gulped. You knew Namjoon and your other boss, Jin, were the main bosses. Yes, there were the other 5, but they had much more control and superiority over every worker since they were much more serious. Namjoon took care of the company well and the workers, and Jin had the idea of creating BTS Inc. which then expanded to an idea helped by the others.

“Fine,” you breathed out, not wanting the issue to get any bigger. You sighed, closing your eyes, before opening them to make eye contact with Jimin. “It’s Minjun.”

“Mmm, that asshole,” Jimin chuckled lowly before pressing on the phone by his computer. He tapped some buttons before it rang and Binna’s voice was heard. “Call security and tell them to go to Eunji’s floor. Then, call Eunji and tell her that she needs to let Minjun know he’s fired.”

“Yes, sir.”

He hangs up and you look at him nervously. He sighed at the way you played with your fingers and he grabbed your hand, making you sit on his chair even though there were others.

He grabbed the same box he had grabbed the first day you met him, taking out a wipe to wipe away any remaining blood on the wound. You scrunched your nose in pain and watched him place a bandaid on it. The Barbie one.

“Can I ask you something?” He hummed in response, staring at you. “Are you and Mr. Jeon friends with Iseul?”

Jimin made a thinking face before shrugging. “She’s… the daughter of someone we know. Her step-dad is one of our great friends, she just… associates herself with us since she’s seen us so many times. Why?”

“I was just curious,” you shrugged next. “Especially since she approached you and Mr.-”

“Just call him Jungkook, flower,” he chuckled at your words, smirking in satisfaction as he heard the way your breath hitched at hearing the name he gave you. “What? You like that name?”

You cleared your throat softly and ignored the way your body warmed up at the name. “Um, but yeah, I was just asking since she approached you two.”

“Mmm,” he grabbed a chair and placed it beside you, taking off his blazer. “Well… I can’t say much but, Iseul just associates herself with us when we don’t want to… associate with her, you know?”

“Yeah, I get you,” you smiled a little at him and he smiled at you, too, his head tilted to the side a bit. “I’m sorry for asking. It’s none of my business.”

“Don’t worry, I don’t mind answering,” Jimin leaned back. “Iseul is not exactly one… for this type of work, but her dad wanted her to experience hard work and to be paid, and he asked a favor. I just wish she tried at least, to put in the hard work. But, are you friends with her?”

“No?” you squinted your eyes at him, making him raise an eyebrow at the way you sounded unsure with your own answer. “Complicated.”

“Listen, if she’s doing anything to you, you tell me, okay?” He grabbed your hand and you looked at your hands, feeling the coldness of his fingers and rings. “Her father might be a friend of mine but I won’t hesitate to step my foot in if she’s doing anything damaging.”

You gave him a tight-lipped smile. “Thank you. It means a lot.”

He smiled at you as if you two have been friends for years.

“I’ll let you go,” he whispered in a way that if he spoke any louder, he would give away any shared secrets. “I’ll expect the same routine tomorrow, okay? I’m checking your arms again.”

You nodded. “I’ll be able to do that. In the meantime, as much as I love the Barbie bandaids, get new ones, please, Mr. Park.”

“Y/n,” he gave you a playful look, “call me Jimin, and I’ll buy you new ones since you asked so nicely.”

You smiled at him and stood up from his chair, turning to leave. He grabbed your wrist before you walked any further.

“Yes?” You turned to face him.

“Have you ate?” He asked and you hummed, nodding.

“My friend Ari makes me eat so I ate lunch, don’t worry,” you reassured him, confused as to why he was asking.

“She makes you?” He raised both eyebrows, almost as if scolding you. You sheepishly smiled. “You better start eating well, flower, I can’t have you fainting on me.”

You wondered if he heard the way your heart sped up, hammering against your chest rather quickly at the way he called you flower. Was this even appropriate? You just enjoyed the moment. You’ll ask Eunji and Ari later.

“Yes, Mr.—” His lips opened, about to correct you again but you immediately caught on to your mistake. “Yes, Jimin…”

“Much better,” he smiled. “You can go now. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“See you tomorrow, Jimin.”

“See you, flower.”

It's Not Sylus' Fault That He's So Big And You Cry At The Smallest Things

big bad bully sylus with his crybaby kitten when you can't give him a handjob or a blow job because sylus is so big! not only that but he's condescending about it and he gets harder when he sees those pretty tears streaming down your face because you just want his cock so badly. sylus just chuckles right in your face as he nudges his fat tip against your lips,

"open up, kitten"

and you just whine as more tears appear in your eyes because youre trying!! can't he see that? the answer is yes, sylus does see that but he just finds it humorous and endering how much you want him. and lets not talk about how he treats you when you want to ride him (or in this case, try to ride him).

Sylus just coos at his darling kitten while he looks absolutely bored. his back is against the headboard with his legs spread open, eyebrow cocked and all. you're just squirming with furrowed brows while hovering on his cock, trying to get his puffy tip past your cunny.

"sweetie, you don't have toー"

cue the waterworks from his crybaby because you feel super bad that you can't fuck him and you really want to pleasure him and he's always so sweet and understanding eben though he's such a bully sometimes but you know he means well and now here youre crying your eyesout because he does everything ー

and the next thing you know is that those tears of sadness are turned into tears of pleasure becaus sylus quickly flips you around on the bed and starts eating your cunny out!! but don't be fooled because he's still big bad sylus because he keeps pleasuring your cunny past overstimulation.

Plus size reader who is out on a date with Sylus at a nice restaurant. You are still hungry but you feel uncomfortable with ordering an appetizer or desert so you just mentally decide to get a snack when you get home later but he can tell that you're uncomfortable. That something is on your mind.

When the waitress comes by to ask if you need anything, you say no but he interrupts you.

"We'll take two orders of the chocolate lava cake as well as a side of vanilla ice cream."

You felt strangely emotional. You didn't say anything, you didn't have to. But every relationship you've been in before, you had to curve your hunger. Hide your cravings and pretend that you weren't hungry. And here this man was, built like a brick wall, ordering you dessert without you even asking.

He seen the emotion in your eyes and he gave a soft chuckle, shaking his head.

"Kitten, if you're hungry, eat. Anyways, you're cute when you eat sweets."

Witch Reader attending the same college as the werewolf frat roped into becoming their personal cheerleader. The year's been pretty tough on the wolves apart of the football team.... Okay, that's a bit of a stretch, but a decent amount of them have lost what matters most - the passion. Sure, winning the game and knocking around the opposing team is the highlight of their time there, but after the rush and the celebration there's an empty hole in their chest that needed to be filled.

Preferably with the embrace of that loner witch all of them have come to fancy.

Witch Reader is left puzzled by the wolves obsession with them. It's true they've taken care of the beasts in their true forms from time to time, but that was mostly so they could collect their saliva for spells and whatnot. Them? A cheerleader? Those wolves must be out of their minds. They do have access to a lot of ingredients Reader could use in their magic, though. It couldn't hurt to humor them for a little while if there's something for them to gain out of it.

-

Werewolf: Please? 🥺

Witch Reader: No.

Werewolf: Please? 🥺

Witch Reader: No.

Werewolf: You do this for us and you'll have an entire goat skeleton on your doorstep by night.

Witch Reader: ....[sighs]

Witch Reader: Alright, give me the skirt.

im not sure if hybrids are considered monsters (personally i dont. they're too cute), but any thoughts on hybrid cows and bulls? i just live the idea of either being a hucow and being cuddled and taken care of (soft sex?) by fellow hucows after being used and knocked by the bulls through the breeding program 😋 or being the farmer the is running the program and playing match maker and assigning a bull or two to my lovely hucows.

Content: gender neutral reader, mildly NSFW

Moving into a cozy cottage to get away from the city and discovering that your neighbors are a group of hybrid bulls and cows living together. So, you do what every good neighbor does and introduce yourself.

They quickly become very protective and caring of you, offering to help with errands and keeping you company. Despite your protests, they insist it's only natural. You're now part of their community. Of course the cow hybrids will prepare you meals, and tuck you in, and massage your back after a long workday. Why, it's undoubtedly a bull's duty to look after you and keep threats away.

You know, perhaps it's better for everyone if you just move in with them. They can't help but wonder whether you get lonely whenever you fall asleep by yourself. Moreover, you probably have certain needs that could use assistance; truth be told, they recently heard your whines one evening and had to hold back from breaking your door in that instant.

You're not one to refuse, are you? You couldn't be in better hands. The bulls are in desperate need of a partner, and if their rough handling wears you out, you can always find shelter in the soft embrace of the cow hybrids. They'll make sure you feel better in no time. Maybe even go for another round.

Im Not Sure If Hybrids Are Considered Monsters (personally I Dont. They're Too Cute), But Any Thoughts

Orcs who can’t reproduce on their own as they’re a mono-sex species. There’s no real concept of gender in an orc village, and how humans, elves, and minotaur have different gender expectations baffles them. There’s work to be done! Who cares what’s in your pants when there’s chores that need doing!

Reproductively speaking, it does mean that in order to have kids orcs need people from other species will to carry their kids.

Usually this manifests in two ways. 1) members of a village go out into the world, explore, fall in love, and bring their spouse back to their village to start a family (though some won’t return to their village and will just start their family with their new spouse whenever they are). 2) it’s pretty common for a village to offer someone an easy life of being doted on an pampered in return for bearing the next generation of kids with them.

In these villages kids are raised communally, orcs maybe have a guess which kids might share their blood, but it doesn’t matter, all kids are theirs.

It’s a soft free use sort of set up. If you say no or not now it’ll be respected, though you really will be disappointing all those orcs who just want to spoil you and love you and see you round with their kids. Gently being passed around, fawned over, some days your feet never even touch the ground because they insist on just carrying you anywhere you want to go.

You never have to life a finger, constantly attended to, though they’re also so happy to teach you any skills you want! Always wanted to learn to sew clothes? There’s a tailor teaching you and fawning over your messy stitches like it’s the most beautiful thing ever created? The potter shows off the terrible plate you made with pride, just happy that you wanted them to teach you? Blacksmithing? Hunting? Anything you want.

A pampered life where you’re so deeply loved and treasured.

It takes a little time to get used to all the fucking though. They do their best to let you have time to yourself and enjoy being spoiled, but you did promise that they could have you whenever they want. You don’t know the last time you had a night where you weren’t fucked to sleep, taking load after load in your cunt, ass, and mouth from whoever wanted to fuck you until you were so sleepy you couldn’t keep your eyes open. Your last partner still hard inside you and pumping a few more loads while you rested and then cockwarming them all night. Gently being woken up in the morning because they just couldn’t wait any longer and needed to fuck you again or a new partner sliding into easily as you’re still slick with cum and your own juices.

Walking through the village to be tossed over someone’s shoulder and brought home for them to fuck, or if they’re impatient just being bent over the nearest surface and being fucked in the middle of the village.

You’re rarely with one partner at a time. If you’re being fucked publicly several other orcs quickly join in. Even if you’re in your own home or behind closed doors at someone else’s you’re always quickly overheard and more join in.

You’re always kissed and snuggled after, and usually during. They’re very affectionate and just adore everything about you!

NSFW

I just saw the cutest video of foxes doing little puppy head tilts… they’re just too cute.

So imagine a kitsune watching you from the forest. He’s been interested in you for a while, unable to tear his gaze from you.

Him mounting you the second you’re close enough, tilting his head curiously as you moan while he knots and your fat cunt.

His tail sways and his eyes focus on you, watching as you struggle to take his thick knot. You’re just so soft and fat and he loves how he can grab a handful of your hips while he pounds into you!

Little squeaks and whines leave his mouth, and he yips while his leg twitches, cum pooling into your warm cunt as he fills you up!

He’s so happy, nipping at your skin and trying not to eat you… you’re all his now, his mate! His!

Just… silly guy.

anything about having a ghost bf? :(

If you’re ever dying from the summer heat, ghost bf is there to caress your body, gently opening your legs and sinking his pleasantly cold fingers into your warm cunt.

He kisses along your neck, his cool body like a soothing balm to any sunburn or sweaty skin as he stretches you out on his thick cock.

Loves to spurt his cum into your fat cunt, leaving a trail of ectoplasm kisses on your shoulders and neck as he fills your womb.

Солнышко (Little Sun)

Yandere x reader (Part 1?)

—————————————————————————

An idea I have had for a while now.

So imagine yourself on a team. Except you’re not a player, no.

Actually..you’re technically not on the team because you’re one of a few people who rotates your position. You’re the mascot.

The beloved silly mascot of your team. The logo, the literal image of your hockey team. And you’re damn good too!

You get the crowds roaring, positively pumped-up for the game! And whether your team wins or loses, the highlights are always the silly little mascot who throws popcorn into the crowd or tosses shirts at unsuspecting families.

From time to time during the game you’d make your way onto the ice. Play fight with the team, steal a puck, steal a stick. Toss them to a crowd member. It was always in good fun, and the audience loved it!

And you weren’t just beloved by the fans, oh no no no, you were beloved by the team too.

So much so that at some point, the demand for your specific “mascotting” was so great, the other workers had to find a new career path. Damn shame too, you happened to like them quite a bit. But extra pay right? And it’s hard to deny how flattering it is being the fan favorite.

Of course it didn’t even cross your mind to question these circumstances, nor did you think to question the sudden increasing interactions you had with the team. Publicity, you assumed.

From number 47 dragging you onto the ice for some impromptu lessons. Still in costume might I add. Mid Play.

To number 13 laughing joyfully as he shoved you into the locker room after an intense game, and offered to wash your back for spending so long in such a sweaty suit. You denied him of course, the locker rooms weren’t meant for you! Duh.

You didn’t even question when number 1, the captain and goalie of the team, braced you against a barrier during half time, when your mask had precariously been knocked off by a rowdy fan. Nor did you see the viscous scowls directed at said fan. It was probably just keep your identity safe after all.

The score was 7 to 0 that game, in favour of your team. You weren’t sure what had pumped them up so much but whatever works right?

Course, you did get a puck to the cheek at one point and had to sub out for a bit. The players were non too happy when they discovered a different worker under your special suit. They were in a bad mood for the remainder of the game.

Number 19, who had a pension for bad behavior on the ice, sought you out specifically after the game too.

———-47—————19————1—————13———-

Your shoulders sagged tiredly against the cool wall of the changing room, blessing the AC that pumped through the units. Your jersey stuck sweatily to your skin, and you gasped with a dry mouth before a gloved hand appeared in your vision, a water bottle covered in condensation presented before you like a holy grail.

“You look like shit.” A scratchy voice scolds lightly by your ear, your eyes fluttering to glance at the rugged features of one of the team players settled besides your face, wedged deep into your personal space. The scent of sweat and body spray (axe probably) wafts into your nostrils, causing your nose to scrunch instinctively before you give a lopsided smile.

“Hey Donovan, s’nice to see you. How’s the play been?” You gratefully take the cold bottle from his grasp, finger tips grazing the rough and warm texture of his gloves before meeting the cool plastic of the team merchandise bottle. Your little mascot stared back at you in a 2D style.

“Shitty. You’re supposed to be out there, not some random loser who can’t even get the crowd excited right. Now the teams pissed and it’s your fault.” His words end in a sneer, despite the attentive way his eyes are raking across your figure for injury beyond the welt on your cheek bone. His body near touches yours and causes another wave of sweat to seep into your skin.

With a thoughtful hum and a sip of refreshing water you push yourself from the locker, stepping into the more open air and cooling yourself off, while dark brown eyes watch you beneath a furrowed, displeased brow.

“Your guys’s concern flatters me. It’s nice having such thoughtful co-workers.” Your lips smile thoughtfully, glancing at him from your shoulder.

He looks incredulous, which somehow lands on being the least aggressive expression you’ve ever seen on him.

“Co-workers?” He echoes, like the word is the most foul tasting thing that’s ever touched his tongue. “We’re teammates. Not co-workers.”

You wave your hand dismissively, back turned and unaware of the tall figure that approaches your bubble again from behind. “Well, you and the guys definitely are. Maybe even the ice scrapers, though I’d argue they’re in the same realm as me to be honest. More staff than anything yknow?” Your tone is light, you know what your position is. And of course you’re grateful to be the main mascot, but you’re aware of your replacements that stand idle at the food stands, handing out popcorn between half times.

“I mean I’m just the person in the suit, anyone could play that part. I just hope I could train the next guy that signs up for the position, gotta make sure they do my legacy justice right-“

Big hands, no longer covered by scratchy material grip into your hips, swallowing the skin in raw heat and tugging you backwards. Your feet stumble and trip for less then a second before you’ve collided into a broad chest. The feeling of a hot breath condenses on the back of your neck, covering up your barely escaped laugh and choke.

Hair tickles the side of your forehead, as Donovan leans over your shoulder. His eyes set forward to the opposing wall lockers just like your own, his thumbs rubbing thoughtless shapes into your skin. He exhales, like he’s just spent the last four hours dealing with an ill tempered toddler that he’s finally reached his wits end with.

“You’re stupid.”

Your lips part in offense, ready to defend your intelligence before you’re prematurely silenced by a new hand that joins the mass of limbs, and rests gently across your dry lips.

“Let him finish, Солнышко.”(Solnishko)*

A thick accent reverberates into your ears, your eyes darting up to meet pale blue ones that gaze back at you so sternly. White teeth peer past his lips in what was probably a smile, but looked like a show of dominance with the way his canines sunk into the bottom of his lip.

“Don’t you have a team to manage, Cap?” Donovan snarls, teeth bared with displeasure at his private time with you being interrupted. With his arms circling more around your figure in a loose version of a back hug. You stay trapped between the two behemoths that cease every noise and shift of your joints with careful hands.

Carlson smiles, a thoughtful one that softens at you, his eyes never leaving yours now that he has your full attention, something that raises Donovan’s ire significantly. “I heard our little mascot wasn’t doing to well. I wanted to check up on them. I may have heard your little conversation as well.”

The word “little” always manages to filter into Carlsons sentences. And while one could blame it on English only being his second language, his reputation for being the teams most well spoken member speaks volumes otherwise. No, the real reason would have to be the sheer height he holds above all others. The authority he possesses that seeps into the rink and every room he walks into.

It’s not a simple slip of the tongue. It’s a reminder. That he is above every one he meets. He is the captain, and what he says is absolute.

Even the way he gazes down at you screams this thought, bullying its way into your skull as your brain refuses to acknowledge the sheer possessive, demeaning energy that seeps from his figure into yours, despite the alarm bells it rings through your system.

“It breaks my heart, Солнышко. You should know better.” His thumb curves along your jaw, thoughtful again, and practiced, engulfing your entire chin in what could be a crushing grip. But it isn’t, and it never will be. Not to you anyway. “Have we not shown you how much we adore your support in the rink? Have we been too dismissive of you?” He continues, though the mocking edge is nearly unnoticeable.

Donovan’s breath huffs into the shell of your ear, his figure hunched over you like a protective cloak, eyes still staring daggers at the taller man. “You think the team can we wait for us to…help remind our dear mascot how much we care about them?”

There’s a thoughtful hum, eye contact still unbroken through each word. “I’m sure they’ll be mad they didn’t get to join…but their forms were lacking today. They could use the extra practice.”

Carlson leaned forward, sky like eyes darkening like the sea as his nose hovers mere breathes from your own. “And I’ve heard that teaching in…more intimate settings, can lead to greater success in many fields..”

.

.

.

.

.

“Again.”

“I will not think lowly of my position on the team, I will not think of myself as replaceable, because I am the best-“

“Fucking.”

“….the best fucking mascot in the world. I am irreplaceable. I am the best.”

“Very good. Again.”

“It’s been 30 minutes!”

“Well last time we did 15 and that still wasn’t enough, so now we must double our efforts, Солнышко. Again.”

“Afterwards I’ll buy you one of those pretzels you like. If you want, I guess.”

“…….yeah okay.”
