thoughts on sevika's name. probably has been done before.

it's a sanskrit name, derived from the word "seva", which means selfless service. this is a concept integral to many indian religions, but that is not relevant here.

there was a post, i dont remember who the poster was, that mentioned how they noticed upon rewatching arcane that sevika is extremely loyal. to a fault. she is loyal to zaun primarily, and to anyone who is making actual progress to achieve zaun's freedom. in the show, that's silco. so she's loyal to silco.

from the moment she was introduced, we see her selflessly serving zaun. for her its not about vander or silco, or who dies or lives (whether she enjoys their suffering or mourns them is a different matter), its about zaun. she also hates jinx for the same reason (partially, of course her blowing off the arm is also a reason) but jinx messes up the shimmer shipment in the very first episode after the time skip, and we can assume that is, to an extent, a pattern. when jinx becomes a symbol, a sign of hope for the undercity, shes working with her.

anyways. just my thoughts. not very well articulated, but i hope you get the gist.
