i've been reminiscing about when i was 11-12 years old. my little pony hit the internet and i caught wind of it. after having watched all of season 1 somehow, i had heard there was a season 2 premiering.

my aunt let me stay over at her house and stay up early in the morning to catch the premiere. lately i've been remembering it. the dangerous yet comforting darkness around me as the hub network began its broadcast. an event that would hit me with such calamity, waking my brain up to something i didn't understand at the time.

i realized just now that i quite literally saw the tv glow, in the most horrifically literal context possible.
