Hi! Thanks for passing by. I'm not an artist but do it as a hobby and I'm more than mildly obsessed with Transformers.

"I'm okay. You're okay. Everything is okay."
I'm almost caught up with Ninth. It is so good. Really recommend anyone who likes a strong/long fic to check it out.

The irony is not lost on me that he’s a robot djhfhfjdjd
More versions and rant under the cut vvv
Woke up in the middle of the night to find out that an official cover artist for Skybound comics, Francesco Mattina, used AI to make his cover. He is apparently known for crappy things like this within the comic community. And next, Brian Tyree, the voice of D-16/Megatron in the upcoming TF:One film was seen wearing what was likely stolen art on a jacket he wore to an event.
I am not the only artist who will say that I’m sick and fucking tired of this shit. I hate that our livelihoods are being threatened and that there are people out there who genuinely believe AI art is ‘real art’ or that it’s somehow ‘better’ than human made art.
I hate that people never credit us and that we get paid unliveable wages, the stereotype of the ‘starving artist’ should not be a reality, but for many of us it is. I shake as I type this out because I’m genuinely so enraged by this type of content and the growing usage and implementation of AI into our daily lives. AI was never meant to replace us and should never replace human work.
The one thing this has inspired me to do is create. I made this piece, as silly as it is, because of the rage I have in my heart and that truly says something that AI could never even hope to replicate. Through my artistic process making this piece alone, there were so many human intricacies I did, like noticing details on the reference photo that I hadn’t seen before and incorporating them as I drew, or colouring outside the lines, fixing incorrect proportions, accidentally colour picking the wrong shade of blue for the shadows because I was working on a multiply layer and so so so many more human habits and mistakes and techniques. All things that while they can be an inconvenience, is what makes my art human, is what makes it unique and what makes it mine.
I will always support real artists and I will always stand against AI and the mistreatment of artists.

I've been mulling over whether to share this or not, bc I don't think I did this very well. Oh well, here it is.
Ok, so Ninth by Kyn has been taking over my brain. At first I was not totally set on the whole theme. But it quickly became very compelling. This scene from Chapter 11 was stuck in my mind for days, so I had to get it out!
I still think I SUCK at coloring. So much more practice is needed. Anyways, I literally have a list of scenes from fics that I would love to reproduce. Let's see if my skill can increase the more and more I keep doodling!

"And that's when I started swearing..."
Sketch turned into this little thing. Sorry he looks small, still playing around with canvas sizes. Plus, this really was just a doodle that got out of hand.

Le Bette, lil'bitty, the babe, das Baby 🦦🎶
I may have fallen into a rabbit hole with this one. I'm anxious, confused, disgusted, and massively falling for many of these characters.
Only on Chapter 27 but I'm already committed to seeing this one through. And hey, I can sketch an Otter! Since this story is so visceral in my mind, I'm hoping to translate those images into some successful sketches? We shall see.
Good luck if you choose to read.

Doodle during Teams call turned into a sketch this evening while casually watching the Olympics.
What's Roddy yelling at? I have a few head cannons, but do any of you have one you'd like to share?

Havent had time for serious drawing, so here's some sketches I doodled during yet another Teams meeting.

Ratchet sketch practice!!!
Starting to get the general shape, proportions, and designs. Honestly, I focus on what I want him to look like. The beauty of the comics is being able to grab references from so many amazing artists you sort of develop your feel as you go.
Anyways, hopefully I'll be able to doodle some cute Dratchet now I'm getting the hang out of these two old men.

Well, looks like Drift sketches were popular. So here's my latest "Teams Call" sketch. Love that my job doesn't require turning our cameras on so I can doodle while listening to seemingly endless meetings.
First LL Drift. Just sort of winging it.

My Drift attempts.
I love him. Most importantly, I love Ratchet, so I need to get a solid Drift down to start making some Dratchet drawings.
Any advice, tutorials, references, etc. would be greatly appreciated. And this is only his MTMTE look! Haven't event attempted LL...

The digital tarot deck is now available to purchase! Get yours here!
And remember, all proceeds from the digital deck go to the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund!

Be distracted during Teams meeting and doodle.
First Prowl and I love him.
I've been reading a lot of Jazz/Prowl fics lately. Shout out to Crimes in Crystal and Mistakes and Mistakes Until.

I consider the song "Could have been Me" by The Struts as Rodimus' life theme song. A must listen while drawing Roddy.
Colored my sketch from earlier.

I like this sketch. Busted it out in 15 minutes during a meeting. I hate that my mindless sketching yields better results than when I seriously sit down.
Anyways, hopefully I can expand this to a finished piece!

Trying my hand at my Spirit Animal Roddy. Hate his face, but pushed through just to get some coloring practice. I like his right hand and legs.....time to keep practicing!
Glad a doodle during a meeting turned into a finished product.
I haven't been able to draw for a few weeks, so I wanted to post this. I was lucky enough to snag tickets to meet Peter Cullen at TFcon LA this year. (Bucket List ✅) I really wanted him to sign a drawing of mine. So after not having even sketched in 10+ years I really started into art again. I was finally able to make this, completing it just in time.

And Mr. Peter Cullen signed it!!
I can't put into words how much this means to me. I'm literally still alive today bc my younger self clung on to Optimus's words to get through each day as my life was unraveling around me.
So to have met Peter Cullen and actually thank him for, well, being him, my heart is able to continue to heal.
I was inspired by MTMTE with this. When the crew visited the Necroworld my first thought was "What would Optimus's statue look like, and how would he react?". My head cannon says he'd have just as many flowers as Megatron. And would probably react even more intensely upon coming to that realization.
I also see the drawing as Optimus literally holding my life (spark flower) in his hands. I'm sure that's something a therapist could spend hours dissecting, lol.
It is now framed, hanging in my reading nook. (I will show the other two amazing commissions from the wonderful Casey Collier at a later time).

Til All are One.

Real quick Drift! Figuring out my style. Figuring out quicker sketching and inking processes. Still want to focus more on figures before finalizing subjects. It's hard for me to just doodle/sketch and not try to keep adding more.
Attaching the drawing process really helps me so I hope it helps someone else as well. Any tips or critiques are very welcome! I'm literally coming off of zero formal training!

Previous Ratchet now colored. Be warned, really basic skills going on here! I promise it will get better soon.
For now I want focus on figure drawing. Gonna try to work on lots of sketches before going all the way through a whole finished work for a while.

The Marshmallow.
Quick sketch from the sketchbook (first Tailgate!) and trying out coloring. Really need to actually learn the software but this is my brute force method practice!
More to come!

Never done any digital art before! Never drew Ratchet before either! Lots of learning and practice ahead!
Need to watch some tutorials to learn shortcuts and tips. I currently don't know how to edit bits without erasing everything.
