Here's a warning, since this has happened a few times already. If you're trying to follow me and you've got AI generated "art" as your profile, you're about to speedrun yourself into getting blocked.
You don't get to enjoy my art while using the exploitative tools that have stolen from so many creatives already.
To all my regulars though, I appreciate you guys :) sorry for the serious post, the regularly scheduled funnies will be back.
I want you all to know that I posted this, hopped on Destiny to do some fishing, and proceeded to catch two exotic fish in a row so I now consider this post good luck

So has anyone else been catching this weird fish recently? It keeps promising fame and glory while eating all my bait :/

(credit to @sylenth-l for making me a felwinter fan and being inspiration for fels design, along with d1 in-game material)

Nimbus knows the Last City doesn't have the same dazzling entertainment options as Neomuna does, but they're still ready to support the City's many bars and... uhhhh.... Guardian maid cafes?
(does the Vanguard know about this..?)
Why is it that the only spoiler I've seen for Lightfall are appreciation posts for Nimbus' ass

Don't worry guys the Witness was just chopping up some ingredients for a nice soup, def nothing sinister or evil going on in that trailer

Instead of working on Destiny WIPs, I keep getting dazzled by Castlevania posts (and I blame Samuel Deats for them too). So take this Trevor Belmont as an offering and let me work on my WIPs in peace.

My gift to @wrenandthemachine for the Dawning gift exchange! She requested Cayde and her guardian Wren :)

I feel like the start of this season is a good time to mention that my fish is named AI-COM/RSPN and he threatens me with orbital death from above if I don't give him his fish flakies

Alas, our brave adventuring heroes must once again do battle against their mortal enemy, the Indifferent Worm.
A little something for this seasons plunderzine event.
Oh definitely! I'll be vague for the people who haven't seen the cutscene yet, but the implications behind what the liquid could do, and what its already done is so important. From what the Destiny Showcase talked about, Osiris seems to play an important part in moving the story forward.
A full cutscene for the Eliksni portion would have been very cool, but I think I'm still preferential to the comic style animation for the second half. The range of facial expression with the balance of lighter and darker tones in the scene were just *chefs kiss*
I'm so glad we have solid and consistent queer representation from Bungie, but it's also so disappointing that we can't even get something as basic as "gay couple existing" in similar media without a meltdown. I'm already braced for the inevitable news articles and "this isn't even relevant to the story!" comments from the larger Destiny community like what happened with Robert Brookes' original tweet. There's already been folks saying the scene wasn't narratively a good ending for all the work we did this season, without realizing just how important the scene is for the video game industry as a whole. Bungie is a big player despite its comparatively smaller size, to have them defend their queer characters (especially outside of June) is monumental.
Please... just let us be happy with this scrap of good representation in the wild west of video games...

So turns out my dumb ass saw a spoiler, thought it was some cool fanart, and didn't piece together that it was legitimate for more than an hour. Cheers to other D2 artists who posted about it because I would've absolutely not realized it wasn't fanart

Well I, for one, welcome our new Telesto overlord
alright destiny community, i've cracked the system, my most popular posts on Tumblr are all worm related

The Bungie architects remain the most powerful enemy in the game, we never stood a chance.
Day 18 of Destinytober - Killed by the Architects

Going outside is good! Fresh air, sunshine, a nice calming trip to the duck pond to feed them some tasty greens and seeds. What could go wrong?

Day 13 of Destinytober

Mithrax is beginning to think he needs to keep a closer eye on who the hatchlings see in the Eliksni Quarters. Some of them are developing rather... morally ambiguous attitudes.
Day 12 of Destinytober - Eliksni/Fallen

Day 11 of Destinytober - Sparrows
Bit of a break from the regular, it was nice to experiment with some pattern brushes and pretty colours. Maybe I'll come back and add some proper shading and highlights when I have time.
I used the Sparrow models for my top 3 favourites, the Undefeated, the Micro Mini, and the classic Tumbler from D1. The crab sparrow and train sparrow are easy fourth and fifth place 🦀 🚂

"Can we talk about this at a different time Eris??"
Day 10 of Destinytober - Defend/New Mission
Eris's rock kitty face idea is from @haykebyr
