It has been established, here on Tumblr, that O’Knutzy are Swifties. It is also known that Logan lives a lot in his own head. When Midnights comes out, he can’t help but feel that Bejeweled is how Finn must have felt about their situationship before they were officially together. So, of course he has a little fun playing with the lyrics as he mentally tortures himself about possibly having mentally tortured Finn. So, picture Logan in the shower, singing out random snatches (in bold) of these lyrics, with a very confused Leo and Finn overhearing the snippets as they do important stuff in the kitchen (and wishing they could join him in the shower):

Meanwhile, Finn, in his first year with the Lions, adopted Bulletproof as his bop, because he missed hearing Logan call him Roux, and if this was all he could get, then by d*mn he was going to take it. Plus, that song slams. Finn wants to make one of La Roux’s outfits his next Hallowe’en costume, but he also doesn’t want Logan to listen to the song too closely. He doesn’t want Logan to start having a conversation with the-Finn-in-Logan’s-brain about why Finn identified so strongly with the song.

Finn O'Hara grabbed the body wash bottle, spun around on his heel, brought the container up to his mouth, and started belting, "Res-sur-rection TIME! Come on!" A deeper, false-baritone voice comes out of the guest bedroom, "It's a resurrection." "Yahoo!", yelled two voices in near perfect unison and harmony. In the kitchen, Leo looks over at Logan with a look of shock. "Alex est ici? Depuis quand?" Logan replies, "Hier soir. C'était presque minuit. Il n'a pas voulu resté à l'hôtel avec Haley et Ramsey."

Head canon that Finn randomly singing bits of church songs or playing with lyrics is so normal that Leo doesn't even bat an eye at that, he just thought he would have heard Alex come in. All of the O'Hara's are lovely, but none of them are what you could call quiet.

Y'see, Alex and Finn would get packed off to their church youth group as kids to expend any extra energy, and also sang in the choir until they left for college. Alex sang in the choir at university each year when the hockey season had ended. The youth group songs being catchy as heck, the greatest hits would inevitably get air time when Finn and Alex were together. Their rendition of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus would bring you to tears. On the other hand, OKN was a bad influence on Finn, and the first time he came home and sang Res-erection-time in the shower over Thanksgiving break, he had to clean up all of the coffee Haley spat out over the breakfast island. Logan helped.

Snippet - Remedial movie night @ Dumo's

Cap and Loops join James and Lily on an excursion, taking not-quite-3-year-old Harry for his first visit to the zoo. At the zoo shop afterwards, Harry doesn’t want a little lion toy, but instead hones in immediately on a giant stuffed red panda. “Sweetie, it is bigger than you, you won’t be able to carry him home.”

"‘Sa colour ‘a punkin spice. ‘Sa best spice. Like Momma's hair. Gonna call her Pie." Sirius and Remus sneak the purchase through while James and Lily are preoccupied with getting Harry to use the bathroom before they head back to the car.
