My first entry into this years Fright-Fall art challenge! Today's prompt is "Rot", and I took the chance to play with a bunch of duplitone brushes by RetroSupplyCo.

Harvest

“Harvest” is today’s prompt, and I loved the idea of a no-nonsense farmer telling Death “I don’t care who you are the rest of the year! You’re here now, so get helping!”

Especially given Death has the kind of scythe that’s used for harvesting wheat!

Beheaded

 I think this one was a case of my vision being beyond my skill level! But nevertheless, I did my best and am not too disappointed with the result. I wanted to do something that had Anne Boleyn with the spectre of the future looming over her, still somewhat murky and not visible to her, but becoming more and more so as the time draws near.

Anyway, I had to learn how to draw a slack jaw for this. It wasn’t easy!
