Finally done with the snippet for the Twin Max AU: (P.S. mentions of death, leukaemia and unhealthy coping mechanisms! I also might be changing the name, but for now, it's Nova)

The video starts with the interviewer sitting on a couch, smiling and waving to the camera before starting to speak.

"Good night lads and gents, I'm your host Thaddeus Talia and I welcome you to our speed talk - today, we've got a special guest with us. Born in 1997 in Hasselt and 2021's world champion in the masterclass of Formula One - Max Emilian Verstappen!"

Applause can be heard and the mentioned Dutchman, dressed in what can only be described as techwear, walks into the frame, sitting down next to Thaddeus and smiling. "Thanks for having me here, Thad."

"Oh, no, you don't have to thank me, I have to thank you. It's an honour to have you here today, Max. Which is also the perfect transition for my questions. I believe you're familiar with our format?"

"I can't not be familiar, can I? Your channel has been going through the roof recently. So, shoot out your questions for me.

"Thaddeus also smiles, seemingly pleased with the relaxed man next to him. "First question - best race this season and why?"

A short pause from Max, as he has to think deeply. "It might sound cliché, but I loved Zandvoort. My family was there, the fans were amazing and just everything else was perfect. So, Zandvoort is the answer."

Thaddeus laughs and nods, noting down Max's answer, before biting his lips. "Ouh, the next one is tricky - would you rather fight Lewis Hamilton in equal machinery or would you rather fight your father in a burning car?"

"Pff, what?" Max laughs, his eyes crinkling slightly and he throws his head back, while Thaddeus grins sheepishly. "I rather fight Lewis in equal machinery, I don't think I'd like the heat of my dad's car."

Questions continue to get asked while Max answers them truthfully until the end is near.

"So, Max. Now that we're done with our part, is there something you want to tell us?" Thaddeus leans back, his head full and empty at the same time, just awaiting the answer and minding his own business.

"Yeah, I've got two things, actually. Firstly, I'm not Max Emilian Verstappen, but rather Nova Nora Verstappen, which leads me to number two. This title doesn't belong to me, but to Max, who aspired to this achievement since he was a child."

Now interested, Thaddeus leans forward, putting his elbows on his knees and looking at "Max". "Who exactly is Max Emilian Verstappen, if you're Nova Nora Verstappen?"

A sad smile is on the Dutchman's lips, he leans back and closes his eyes briefly. "He's my older twin brother, the one who wanted to live my current life since we were small. However, at barely five years old, we were told that he never could drive in a single kart, fuck, not even an F1 car in the future. The diagnosis of leukaemia shook our whole family, causing our lives to change. We had to adapt to him getting weaker, losing weight and being in and out of hospitals for his treatments. But, well, everything wasn't of any help, so my parents told me to be him, to live his dream for him. They were still my parents, they just saw me as a healthier Max instead of Nova."

The Dutchman sighs deeply, tears pooling in his eyes that he blinks away. "Max lived on, being the only one who called me by my real name instead of Max. He was also my biggest supporter, always making sure I know how proud he is of me, of my accomplishments, never talking about how it's his name that will be famous one day, but mine when the time is right. His only wish was for me to win our first title, as Max and Nova, not as one, but as both. He also made sure to somehow engrave it into my head that after this title, I'm allowed to be me again. Fuck, sorry."

Tears now roll down his cheeks and he wiped them away in a furious way. "I didn't know I'd get this emotional, sorry."

"It's alright," Thaddeus smiles through his own tears. "You need a moment?"

"No, it's fine again," the Dutchman smiles and takes another deep breath.

"I wish he could be here right now, but it's not a dream. The world has lost him on July 18th this year, just when Sunday rolled around and the Silverstone GP was there. My family didn't notify me, so I only knew about it after I was in the hospital due to the crash and the 51 G impact because my parents decided to break the news to me then and there. Max has left everyone something, but he left a lot to me - multiple handwritten letters he never sent, our first shared drawing, pictures we had of us, everything. It's what he valued the most - the moments we shared together, not having his illness in mind and just enjoying our times together."

A cut disrupts the video, before cutting back in when the Dutchman smiles with wet red eyes and Thaddeus holding him in a half hug.

"He's very dear to you, hm?" the calm and quiet voice of Thaddeus is almost inaudible, but "Max" heard it and nods with a smile.

"He's too dear to me, had always been. Without him, I don't think I'd have fallen in love with F1, creating lots of beautiful moments and now having those moments ready to be inked into my skin. I hate needles and that shit, but it's for him, for us. Without him, I wouldn't have been able to endure my father's words and actions, and wouldn't have pushed through pain and feelings to be better. If he couldn't live his dream, I'd live it for him, take him through every corner, over every curb and straight. I don't believe there's someone out there who loved me as much as he did. It won't be the same without him, but I know that life goes on and that he wouldn't want me to mop around after his passing, he'll still be able to annoy me or at least find a way to get to me."

Another cut and Thaddeus is now full-on hugging the champion who hid his face in his neck, shoulders shivering and sniffles being heard.

"He's proud of you, Nova, I'm sure of it," he tells the Dutchman, looking at the camera and signalling the filming person to end the video.

The video went viral fast, with many people sharing it on the internet and calling out the Verstappen family for staying quiet the whole time and using one twin for the other's dream while also defending the late Max, admiring him for his unconditional love and support for his younger twin.

It got so viral that at the beginning of the new season, nineteen drivers sat together and watch it again, even though they'd already watched it, when the champion walks in, arms exposed and dipped in beautiful black ink, dancing over his skin in words and motives.

"Welcome to the grid, Nova," Sebastian is the first to stand up, walking up to the champion and opening his arms for a hug. "I'm Sebastian and those others behind me are your crazy competitors and teammate. Let's have a fun year, yeah?"

OR Biker Max (really strong and big man) driving by a crashed car and looking what happened, only to find a terrified child and an unconscious man, most likely the father of the child, behind the steering wheel.

He helps them out and waits until the ambulance is there but rides after them since the child would be alone otherwise.

In the end, he gets told that the man he saved was Sir Lewis Hamilton, 7-time world champion in F1, and his son. They also start to hang out and later on date 🥰

I'm actually excited for Nyck and Logan (but because Nyck drove one race last year, it's more Logan)

Most likely Red Bull and Ferrari, but Merc is also maybe in on the game? I have no idea yet. Oh, and if Oscar can deliver, it can also have McLaren.

First DNF? Hm, maybe Nico? I really don't know TT

Most DNFs will either be Alosno if he has this bad luck again or Nico because that man is unlucky

I think we all hope for a maiden win of other drivers, and with a good car, I hope it'll be Lando

If we look at the last season, I think we only get a reserve driver iff the others are fucking sick (which I'll never hope for) but if that should happen, I hope Mick can jump in to show what he can actually do in a good team with good ethics

I have to say Max, just because of his strength, but we also know the curse of F1 XD

If Red Bull has another strong car despite the penalty because of the cost gap infringement, I strongly believe in a third title for Max

As much as I hate to say it, Lewis could retire if he has yet another year full of struggles with the Merc. Or maybe Sergio, seeing as his contract ends after this year (I believe I interpret it correctly and it means that UNTIL 2024 he's at Red Bull) and the rather "poor" performance last season (2022 season!)

Wildest prediction? Max will slowly hate the media and forget all the media training he had to go through. So maybe Mad Max Era 2.0 with a more mature but wilder Max🥺👀
