Botan!

Behind the scene:

Botan is always the one most excited when one of her friends stars at the cover of the renowned publication, but when turn came up she actually find it awkward and she froze up in front of the camera. She was trying really hard but the staff noticed her having a hard time, so they let her take a break while they take the photo of Kuwabara and Hiei instead.

The girls comforted her and told her she was really pretty, and they know she can do it. Botan thanked them but deep inside their words actually had the opposite effect and somehow made her feel even more pressured.

She was really nervous when the guys finished their turn and she had to return to the stage. As she approach the guys who were on their way down Kuwabara pat her on the shoulder and told her if someone like the shrimp can do it then she definitely can. Hiei on the other hand retaliated with 'If you are worried of looking ugly, I can assure you the oaf already got that completely covered. So get your head out of the gutter so we can get this cursed photoshoot over woman.'

Kuwabara got offended as usual and told Hiei that is not the way to comfort a woman. Seeing the familiar sight of her friends bickering with each other, some of the tension she was feeling dissipated and a soft smile grazed her lips. Hiei's brand of comforting might not be the conventional one, but at that time it was exactly what she needed. Unknown to her the photographer is capturing every moment.

Later that day as the staff is selecting the final photo they will use for the cover, a red haired man sneaks his way into the photographer and chief editor's office. He places a box of cheese cake beside the computer monitor. He had to take a half day at work today just to line up for 3 hours to acquire the confection.

"Kurama in case you haven't realized it yet you won't be able to bribe your way out of this magazine business."

"Good evening to you too, Elia. And here I am going through so much trouble just to get Hiei to participate. Guess not all hard work gets rewarded."

Looking at the screen he saw the picture of Botan softly smiling while looking at Kuwabara and Hiei. It was a picture taken without his friends noticing. He takes a seat next to Elia.

"Your friends are all very interesting people." Elia leans her head to his shoulder the exhaustion from today's photoshoot finally catching up on her.

"So I really can't get exempted? I can-"

"No."

YU YU HAKUSHO SEQUEL 

Chapter 1 - “A New Beginning”

A group of enthusiastic Yu Yu Hakusho fans got together to design a sequel to YYH and asked for help to share and publicize it.

It’s a non-profit doujinshi, made for fans by fans. Please, support them and read the first full 50-page chapter “A New Beginning” on their blog (note: it’s western reading: left to right).

I really enjoyed the plot! I’ve been reading so many YYH doujinshi about yaoi and couples these last few decades that a sequel caught me off guard. I hope they continue this project and release new chapters soon. Yu Yu Hakusho fandom, you are amazing!   

The next demon world tournament is fast approaching and the gang is back on training, but Kurama seems to have a special little guest who wants to join him!

It's been a while since my last post, have been busy on real life with holiday approaching and many other stuff! But guess who's busy too? Kurama and Jr. are back!

Can I get a headcanon of the main four sleeping habits?

Yusuke:

Sleeps like the damn dead

Had to be a heavy sleeper to not be woken up by his mom coming in drunk at odd hours of the night

Moves around in his sleep

Not just some subtle shifting around, this guy flops around and rolls over and has probably punched/kicked some holes in the wall before

I sincerely apologize to anyone who has to sleep within combat distance of him

Blanket stealing? You bet your ass

Snores at two distinct levels. Light snoring or freight train, no in-between

Kuwabara:

Surprisingly a lighter sleeper than Yusuke

Usually will wake up if Eikichi jumps up onto him while he’s asleep

The only time he sleeps heavily is when Shizuru is yelling at him to wake up for school

Tosses and turns but won’t have a cage match with anyone in his sleep

Occasionally snores, doesn’t always though

Will steal blankets but will give them back if he’s woken up by something

Also drools

His pillowcase is usually damp when he wakes up because of it

Kurama:

Light sleeper

Literally almost anything will wake him up

Floor creaking in another room? He’s awake

Still manages to sleep soundly despite that

Doesn’t move much, bar the occasional toss or turn

Probably the best to share a bed with; he won’t kick or steal blankets

Also probably a sleep cuddler; he likes warmth when he’s sleeping and people are warm

Doesn’t snore, but he talks in his sleep sometimes. His mom has a recording of it

Hiei:

Incredibly light sleeper

Ends up waking up frequently during the night to make sure he’s not being attacked

Literally sleeps in trees so he doesn’t move around much

He’d fall if he did, and he’s fallen before and doesn’t appreciate the rude awakening

Usually sleeps in a semi-upright position so his back sometimes hurts when he wakes up

If he were to share a bed with someone, he wouldn’t steal blankets

He’d probably kick them off of him

Sometimes will snore very faintly

In the spirit of all those great anime getting sequels staring their kids (whether or not they're actually good is a matter of opinion and time), I would like to propose YYH getting a sequel with Yusuke/Keiko's kid (I vote daughter because I can and because the son thing is being overused right now) being the main.

Things I would very much like to see in said series:

- The kid (if a girl, please god be a girl) taking after Keiko more, with bits of Yusuke's personality sprinkled in

- Kuronue making an appearance (and his pendant because they can honestly do a lot with those two things

[(My idea is homie is not actually 100% dead but his soul is stuck in the pendant, which YKChild wins at some festival they attend at start of series, but, you know, I'll take what I can get)]

- SHOW ME YUKINA'S CHILD (whether she actually hooked up with Kuwabara is up for debate in the fandom so it's a toss-up over whether she would have a single daughter or a set of twins)

- I will only accept a popular boy if he's related to Kuwabara in some fashion

- Kurama planning on moving to the Demon World now that his mother is much older

- BORDER PATROL HIEI

- Give me demons having issues with how no-killing the Human World is when trying to adjust to everyday life

- Give me demons in high schools having accidents in hiding their horns/ears/tails for whatever reason

- Give me RETIRED YUSUKE PISSING OFF KOENMA STILL

- I will accept divorced Yusuke/Keiko only on the grounds that it makes sense (I'm of the belief that she'd just get sick of putting up with him after several years and then them getting back together at the end of the series like last time)

I had more ideas but this is what I got so far! I just - I WANT A SEQUEL! I WANT A SEQUEL!
