Random thoughts about Ashley and Andrew's sleeping habits.

Ashley mentions multiple times that she has no trouble sleeping. Her dreams are plagued with trauma, and Ashley wouldn't hesitate to have one more reason to be clingy and garner some sympathy. Despite that, its one of the few areas she seems to show some level of independence in. She's getting 8hrs+ easy most nights.

Andrew on the other hand is always tired, struggling with nightmares, insomina or both! He is probably getting like 5-6hrs every night, waking up constantly to smoke or disassociate.

This brings me to my soft hc. I think Ashley is used to being woken up by Andy in the middle of the night. It probably started years ago, her holding him close after he had a particularly bad nightmare.

The two of them wrapped up under the covers, safe from the rest of the world. Ashley recounting one of their adventures like a bedtime story until her Andrew drifts off into sleep.

She cherishes each and every time this happens, and Andrew barely remembers when they do.

Sometimes he wakes up happier though, with a little less weight on his shoulders and Ashley in his arms.
