Hey Bro,

Hey bro,

Do you have any tips on how to start working out? I've looked up transmasc workouts, but they all seem super hard and I end up giving up after a few days. I have pretty bad chest dysphoria, so I feel like if I work out and get more muscles it will help because a) my chest might get smaller, b) the shape of my chest would probably look more masculine if it's more muscular, and c) if I have big arm muscles then it's more believable to say that my chest is just big pec muscles

So yeah, if you have any advice for something easy I could start with, that would be awesome. If not that's also fine, and have a nice day dude

This is a response to an ask I answered awhile back that is a good starting point (link)

The unfortunate reality is: workouts are supposed to be hard. Muscles don't grow unless you push them. What you can do though is make sure you're pushing them in the right way by knowing your limits, starting with low weight and once you can do 15 reps on that weight, moving up by no more than 5 lbs.

If you're asking more routine wise, what I would do on an easy week is

Day 1: Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps, one exercise each for four sets

Day 2: Rest

Day 3: Back, Chest, two exercises each for four sets

Day 4: Rest

Day 5: Abs, Legs, two to three exercises each for four sets

Day 6 and 7: Rest

Yet another disclaimer that I am not a professional, just some guy on the internet. Check with a professional if you can.
