Today was your wedding day, soon you were to rule Devildom alongside with Diavolo. When it was your turn to walk down the aisle, mostly everyone stared at you happy for you. Diavolo was staring wide eyed blushing, how can you be this perfect?.. he thinks to himself.

You soon are in front of him and as you both say “I do.” Diavolo and you share a sweet kiss, one of his hands on your waist , the other on your head pulling you closer. You guys smiles as everyone cheers for you two.

   It hurts, doesn’t it? Having to easily see the brothers you so desperately wanted attention easily flick away from you. It does not help that the girl you were talking about prided in basically everything. She had everything in her fingertips, while you nothing in your cold hands. It was depressing. Having to love someone who doesn’t love you. It felt toxic. It felt saddening. It felt….tiring. It was exhausting. You still wanted them. You still acknowledged them. You think the wails of a mortal child can bring him down?

Intense staredown

The child probably shuts up once it notices the burning coals in the Morningstar’s eyes

Not a word had to be spoken, and now the child’s too scared to even breathe

Ah, the melodious sound of peace and quiet

Wait MC what do you mean that wasn’t what he was supposed to do―

MAMMON

Contrary to popular belief, he knows exactly what to do

He’s raised five demons you think he can’t manage another one?

Watching him coo and coddle the baby melts MC’s heart

His go-to strategy is to wave Goldie in front of the kid; the glimmer from the diamonds on the card is a good distraction

If he’s in luck and the child takes the bait, he’s best friends with them now

The parent probably has to promise the child that they will meet Mammon again because they won’t let his jacket go

If MC decides to become all cheesy and tease him about his amazing ‘parenting’ skills, someone might see the wisps from his exploded head three aisles down

“I-It’s not like I like it or anythin’! I-I just did it cause...ya know! They were crying and all! Y-Yeah, that’s it!”

Yeah right it’s not like you were making heart eyes at the kid or anything

Look, it was upsetting enough to come out of the comfort of his room for something non-anime related anyway

No way he’s going to get involved in something that way out of his field of expertise

But the child’s cries are giving him a pounding headache now, and he has to do something

Tries to approach the child, but ends up stuttering a lot because he’s got no idea what to do

The kid set their sights on his DevilSwitch and now he is the one who wants to cry

The device had to be forcefully snatched from them by their parent

On top of an unwanted social interaction, it had to be this nerve-wracking

Yeah, he’ll stick to ordering from Akuzon the next time

Just like Lucifer, he isn’t all that keen on interacting with the child unless absolutely necessary

It’s not that he doesn’t care, it’s just that he thinks he might lose his cool if the child annoys him too much

Doesn’t stop him from sighing like a 9-5 office worker after a long night of paperwork though

Scoots away silently to find whoever he was accompanying so that they can help him find the parent

Probably gives them the most diplomatic earful about leaving their child unsupervised

Needs a lot of alone time with his books and MC later to detox from the stress of the entire situation

ASMODEUS

Ugh, too much noise isn’t good for his skin

He’s the Avatar of Lust; he makes babies, not handles them

He can’t for the love of himself think of a single way to calm the baby down

For him, the kid is stupid because they would rather waste their time tearing up than bask in the radiance of his beauty

Tries to move away from the site of damage as quickly as possible but too late

The kid spotted Asmo and kinda just gawked at him, forgetting what they were crying about in the first place

OH HELL YES IT’S HIS TIME TO SHINE

The kid was just wondering why his skin was so shiny

But Asmo ends up walking him through his entire routine and now he’s confused

The kid probably runs back to find their parent themselves

It’s canon that he loves kids, so watching one bawl their eyes out irrespective of their age makes his heart clench

Offers them some of the food he was having, and if he’s in luck the kid accepts it and goes quiet

But if they don’t, he’ll try to pacify them with his words while crouching down

He isn’t the best with his words and expressions, and he also has a big frame so...

But with the help of MC he could probably make it work

Shopping forgotten, they’re looking the kid’s parents first

Beel just trails behind MC who has the kid clinging to her, knowing there isn’t much he can do to help

Happy Beel noises when their parent(s) is/are found

All in all, one of the most mature reactions out there

Mammon’s days as the Avatar Of Greed are over

It probably wouldn’t even matter in the royal treasury, but now he’s got a very confused and flustered parent eyeing the mountain of random stuff in front of them

Even when the kid togs at his sleeve only to ask him to buy them something, he’s just happy that they’re getting along

He’s too wholesome someone help or he’ll buy the whole store just to make the kid smile

BARBATOS

Like Mammon, he knows what to do

But unlike Mammon, he’s a lot more straightforward and better at it

Sexy demon butlers, amirite?

Puts on his best soft smile as he approaches the kid, and their human nature makes them immediately fall for it

Succeeds in putting a halt to their temper tantrum without having to actually buy them anything

Barbatos talks to them like he would talk to an adult, but there’s a gentler tone to his scolding

He escorts the child back to their parent, and even they are charmed by Barbatos’s amazing personality

MC now wants to marry him much to the dismay of the demon brothers
