Christmas Sentence Starters @phantomik

“ thank you.. i think. “ as usual, he was never sure what camie was trying to say, but at this point, he figured that he should only be concerned if by some miracle he ever understood her. but shoto was quickly finding out that there were a lot of aspects of christmas that he’d missed out on during his childhood, he hadn’t even heard about this apparent ugly sweater tradition until earlier that month. though he hadn’t really meant to participate.

☹ for kiri u__u
Send me “ ☹ ”, and I’ll generate a number between 1-75 to see where/how my muse is injured. 46. internal bleeding

eijiro wasn’t one to hide injuries, he’s seen others do it and he knows that it always ends up making things worse. the thing is, he hadn’t thought that he was hurt. a cannonball quirk had seemed a little like overkill, but if any of the 1A students were equipped to handle it, it was him. he can stop bullets, break steel blades, and take a 10 story dive without a scratch, a cannonball to the stomach wasn’t going to stop him. and it hadn’t, he had jumped right back up, dodged another two cannonballs shot his way and punched the guy hard enough to throw him off his feet. it was a success all around as far as eijiro was concerned.
the soreness that he’d felt for the rest of the day wasn’t unheard of either, especially after a direct his like that. his quirk itself often left him with painfully sore muscles if he’d had it on for extended periods of time, but it would go away before too long. a bit of dizziness had acted up once or twice, but he’d honestly figured that he’d gotten up too quick or just needed a snack. he had even still come to get ready for the training session that he had promised bakugou earlier that week. it wasn’t until a particularly harsh dizzy spell had him staggering to stand back against the wall of the changing room that he and bakugou had just walked out of, that he realized something was really wrong. the pain in his stomach seemed more localized now too.
“bakugou.. i don’t... i feel..” as his vision steadied up again he looked to the blonde, only to see bakugou looking in horror at his bare torso instead. he frowned momentarily in confusion before looking down at himself to follow his friend’s gaze and... oh, that didn’t look good. if it weren’t for the slow but steady spread of it, eijiro would assume that the dark discoloration on his stomach is a bruise, not that that would make much more sense to him than the fact that he was apparently bleeding internally. but as he whipped his gaze back up to bakugou, the dizziness threatened to overtake him as the pain that had been aching in his stomach all day pitched infinitely sharper, and he was in his friend’s arms before he realized he was even falling. but bakugou always had been impressively quick. he barely had time to slur out a quick “ thanks kat.. “ before everything went black around him and he went limp in bakugou’s arms.
@shehorned gets a sort of plotted starter!

it takes longer than it should for eijiro to notice that he’s being watched, or rather that eri is. he wants to blame the fact that he’s still recovering from the attack two days prior and that he’s just relieved to have eri safe beside him, but he knows that neither of those are excuses to get complacent when there are still so many terrible people that want to use the white haired girl tucked into his side.
he can see three men that seem to be getting closer and keeping eyes on them, and there may be more, but eijiro doesn’t want to tip them off to the fact that he knows by searching too obviously for others. and with the way they’re getting closer, he knows that there isn’t much time to decide what to do. this is the quickest way back to UA, but that won’t help them if they’re nabbed before they get there. he knows that it’s eri they’re after, and he isn’t fighting on 100%, so the best thing to do would give the girl time to get away and call a pro while he stalls as long as he can.
“ hey eri. “ he starts softly, leaning down to speak to her. “ i need you to get off at the next stop and call aizawa... can you do that? ” he hates asking her to go off on her own again when she was so scared before, but he doesn’t really think that he’ll actually be able to beat these men in his current state. still, if he can buy her time to get to safety, then he would do it without question.
Denki jumps as Ojiro’s tail slams into the wall behind him before turning to face them all. A quick and startled glance at the others show him that he wasn’t the only one to do so. Guilt sets in quickly however as his classmates begin to yell at them.
If anyone should know how this feels, it’s Denki, not because his quirk is plain, but because he is so often laughed at for the way he acts after frying himself. But Ojiro had never joined in on making fun of him, so what was his excuse? Taking advantage of the fact that it wasn’t about him this time and laughing along with the rest of them was a terrible excuse and Denki knew it.
He shared a guilty look with the others once Ojiro moves away and bites his lip before hurrying after the other blonde. Whlie Denki isn’t always the best with apologies and isn’t sure he’ll be forgiven- if he even deserves to be- he knows that he owes one.

“ Ojiro... I’m really sorry! I don’t think you or your quirk are boring I swear... We were just.. poking fun I guess. But that’s not an excuse, we should have said that stuff... I’m sorry..” He feels terrible to have made Ojiro feel bad, though at this point he wouldn’t blame his classmate for not forgiving any of them. He really needed to learn to shut up. “ You do belong here.. “ he adds softly.

It had just been one offhanded statement during training. A joke? Maybe. An overused joke that hurt? Absolutely.
‘Plain as always!’
Tail twitching, it slams into the wall of rock, breaking it into pieces on impact, and he twirls on his classmates. He’s aware the pain is obvious on his face, the hurt from the words clear as day. He’d taken so much of their “teasing”, dealt with their words so often, but he couldn’t do it anymore.

“ I GET IT, OKAY?! ” His voice comes out as a yell, something he never does. “ I’m PLAIN, I’m BORING, someone with a boring quirk like mine doesn’t deserve to be here, I fucking GET IT! ”
It felt like he was going to break, body trembling, and not even he was aware of the damn that finally broke. Nearly a year of being classmates and they still viewed him as this plain, boring guy who was so predictable. He couldn’t take it anymore.

Tail thumping against the ground, he bares his teeth at them briefly and turns his back on the class, storming to the other side of the training area.
