NOTE: reader and characters relationship is around 3 months?? view it however you wish though, the 3 month time thingy doesn’t really matter.

you were spending time with your partner, just talking and basically enjoying each others presence. you planned to do that for the rest of the day, until you remembered you had an important matter that you had to attend, and if you were late, you’d be in huge trouble.

so, as much as you hated cutting your time short with your partner, you told them you had to go somewhere, promising you’d make it up to them next time or even later. they were understanding. but you couldn’t leave them without any type of goodbye hug or any of the sort!

which is exactly why you went close to their face, kissed their cheek, and ran off to your important meeting, leaving your partner stunned.

☆ very understanding when you said you needed to go somewhere and had importsnt matters to attend, is willing to reschedule your guys' date if what you’re going to do is that important.

☆ once you kiss his cheek and run off into the distance with a cheeky grin, knowing what you had just done, he just.. stands there. doesn’t know what to do other than stand there and cup the cheek you kissed, a small smile growing on his face.

☆ he doesn’t think about it that much for the next few hours, but he does like the gesture. a little cute goodbye gesture, and he remembers it every once in a while when you’re at your important meeting.

☆ when you come back, he doesn’t bring it up. Zhongli only asks if you’d like to continue your date with him, already holding up a cup of tea with the flavor you prefer inside.

☆ Venti lowers his head and pouts, “but what could be more important than our date??” you deadpan and think that you would probably be stuck there forever if he got a hold of your arm. so, you did the only logical thing!

☆ which was to quickly kiss his cheek and sprint out of existence.

☆ oahahha he wouldn’t let you live this down. Venti considers the idea of summoning his powers of the almighty wind and chasing after you like it’s some fucking horror movie, but thought it’d probably give you a heart attack and it’d maybe give him a breakup so he decided to just give you tons of unexpected cheek kisses when you get home.

☆ it is definitely not forgotten when you’re back from the important meeting, because as soon as you arrive he pops out of nowhere, gives you a cheek kiss and his signature “ehe” before disappearing into the wind (aka the wind blew him away).

☆ gets a little upset when you say that you have to interrupt your date for something :( but understands nonetheless, and (sadly) allows you to go where you need to go.

☆ her frown doesn’t go unnoticed by you, of course not! what kind of partner would you be if you didn’t notice the Ei frowning, unlike her usual neutral expression with a sprinkle of depression?

☆ so... you decide the best thing to do is peck her cheek, run off before she can send you to that scary shit place called Plane of Euthymia! well uh, thing is, you could literally just walk away from her and she’d do nothing because of how shocked she is.

☆ she isn’t used to physical affection if that wasn’t somehow super obvious, so she doesn’t have a clue on what to do next when you kiss her cheek and disappear into nowhere. does she run at you and do the same thing? does she thank you once you’re back from the meeting?? Ei may or may not ask Yae Miko about this :,)

☆ once you come back, she brings the “incident” up. she elaborates on what this incident is (because you were kinda confused like wtf what incident???) and you only laugh it off, reassuring her that it’s not a super big deal. she becomes confused now, asking you what you did it for then.

☆ “out of curiosity,” you shrug. now you have an insanely confused Electro archon girlfriend because she doesn’t understand the concept on affection, but that’s just the usual /hj

☆ Paimon suddenly yells for you when you run off but you only look back at them and wave, then continue sprinting like there’s no tomorrow.

☆ Aether is just 🧍‍♂️ when you leave and then grows a huge smile. he then proceeds to smack Paimon in the face because she’s attracted tons of attention to them by yelling.

☆ he’s basically stuck in that state for the rest of the day, he has a stupid smile on his face all the time like his crush just told him they liked him back. he has become highschool girl Jay except he doesn’t scream as loud.

☆ Paimon bugs Aether all day about his smile though so his daydreaming often gets interrupted by this weird floating thing >:( he gives her that one expression and goes back to thinking about you :D

☆ when you get back, he’s like, clingy. when you do little types of affection like these he gets very giddy heheheshsg

~ lumine !

☆ she has the full set. mouth agape, standing still emoji, and slowly brings her hand up to her cheek where you just kissed it. Paimon loses it when Lumine starts mumbling about it to herself the whole day.

☆ i have this headcanon where Lumine is the sibling who often messes with her nails or starts mumbling to herself about a certain topic when they think about it too much, so she’s just “wait did they really do that?”, “oh my god they did that” while messing up her nails or just biting on them (Paimon tries to stop her btw).

☆ Paimon tries to distract her from the topic so she kinda uh, looks for more quests to do (aka people to help). it works, although exhausting, distracts the traveler and she forgets it, but it doesn’t last long. the memory comes back soon enough.

☆ oh but when you return, her cheeks are dusted a light pink and she has a light smile on her face ASYSGSTSTSHSG

☆ so you kiss his cheek to (hopefully) make him more happy before you run off to your important meeting, and it works like a charm! a large smile grows on his face at what you just did, and the upsetness that was once there was now replaced with insane joy :D

☆ then he thinks about what you did.

usually, Baizhu was calm with most of his clients and never freaked out, he always kept his composure as to reassure his client in a way. before this incident of course. in fact, he seemed to have blanked out.

he saw you, who looked quite similar to The Creator, missing an arm and gold blood furiously dripping out of the missing arm. you were also accompanied by a panicked Zhongli, and a genuinely scared Electro Archon who was practically crying. oh, and Venti, who was also crying his eyes out, begging for forgiveness.

you looked at Baizhu with a blank expression, shrugging and trying to kick the three Archons off of you. "hey, so, i kinda need a favo—" "i'm sorry, i'm— sniffle please execute me i'm so— sniffle so sorry pl—" sighing, you grumbled and tried kicking off Venti again. "get off." still sobbing, he let go and sat on the ground.

"uhh..." sensing Baizhu's confusion, you walk towards him holding out the arm that wasn't cut off, and gesturing towards the one that was currently missing. "so, those three and a few others," you nudged your head to the three Arxhons behind you, "tried murdering me and then Ei... or the Raiden Shogun? whoever it was, cut my arm off with The Musou no Hitotachi and here we are. the other Archons were present at the execution but i have no idea where they are right now, actually..."

"so, do you think you can help me?"
