Professor McGonagall walked through the empty hallways.

Wondering where the students had gone this fine morning.

As she walked through the halls to the great hall, she could hear the busy feets and hands of whoever were inside the great hall.

Curious, she opens the door to the great hall. Only to be suprised with a feast, in honor of her.

Today was her last day as headmistress in Hogwarts. She has been teaching here since she could remember.

"Headmistress!," one student exclaims suprised by her sudden appearance.

They were preparing a suprise for her. Neville Longbottom as the master to this idea.

"Well it's spoiled now... YOU WILL BE MISSED PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL!" Neville exclaimed as he held a banner that looked like it was supposed to be hung up the ceilings of the great hall.

Minerva couldn't hold her tears. She bawled, this was the best gift she could have gotten.

The students were suddenly worried that their preparation was so bad she cried, until she laughed.

"Oh! Goodness me," she sniffled her tears. "Thank you. Thank you everyone. Oh, I apologize for bursting in, Oh!" she laughed as she wiped her tears away.

Everyone joined together to give her a hug. Each one gave her a present of farewell, each one as thoughtful as the other.

She felt loved, cherishes, and remembered.

She then opened her eyes when she felt a tap on her shoulders.

"Minnie? Were going for a walk, you coming?" Severus says as he looks at Minerva with a smile.

Right, it was all a memory now. A lovely memory she will keep in her mind forever, even till death.

"Dumblebores coming?" she stretched as she sat up from her chair.

"Ofcourse, his always joining," Severus rolled his eyes as Minerva chuckled.

"Well, lead the way Severus" as he linked her arms to Severus's and they walked through the light, where everyone was waiting for her. Everyone she loved was waiting for her behind those veil.

And she was happy with that. She just hopes everyone is too.

"Thank you for the memories children. Class dismissed"
