If Dabi had been in his right mind last night, he probably would have patched the girl he now knows as ‘Toga' up as best as he could be bothered, dropped her off at one of those homeless shelters —preferably one in the Red districts where they were underground and more tolerant— and then slouched off into the night, hopefully to never see nor hear about her ever again. Instead Dabi is sat on a warm, ratty couch, swaddled in blankets, bracketed by two insane children doing crafts —using Sharpies to scribble thunder-clouds onto the back of Chaser’s hoodie at Toga’s request—, feeling like he’s in the rec-center of some kind of home for the self-preservationally challenged. And the worst part is… its kind of… not terrible.
