I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. #AncientWisdom
This video of a Raven, a symbol of Ancient Wisdom, feeding on roadkill carries a profound metaphorical significance. In Ancient Wisdom, Ravens often represented messengers and keepers of hidden knowledge. They were believed to possess insights into the mysterious and unseen aspects of life. Roadkill, on the other hand, symbolizes the unfortunate consequences of life's unpredictable twists.
When combined, this video illustrates a powerful lesson: Wisdom can emerge from the most unexpected and challenging circumstances. Just as the Raven, a creature associated with foresight, finds sustenance in the remains of tragedy, humans can extract valuable insights from their own setbacks and losses.
This symbol encourages us to look beyond the surface, to search for meaning in the most unlikely places. It reminds us that Wisdom is not exclusive to the privileged or the fortunate; it can arise from adversity. The Raven's act of dining on roadkill underscores the notion that, in the cycle of life, we can turn even the most difficult experiences into opportunities for growth and understanding.

#MohawkTerritory

It was only and finally in 1904 that the Tioweró:ton territory was officially designated by Administrative Management of the Department of Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada, as a Mohawk Native Reserve in the Laurentides région of Québec, Canada. They gained a promise that outside people would leave the area and never to return in exchange for not being prosecuted for trespassing by First Nation tribes.

It now officially belongs to the Mohawk First Nation; as it always should have been.

Our Heritage. Our Homeland.

We were at high altitude and he was flying low.
Ok this is a quick side post only between us so no need to reblog but first, I would like to apologies for my colleague reaction who has pratically "peeing" in his pants but at this altitude of 772m (over 2500ft) we were expecting to see some migrating birds to photograph, like big Canadian Geese, but not that big.
Usually he never swears but hey, this chopper was about 50ft above our heads, trees swayed and even the mountain's ground shook. It was like an high speed persuit or something similar at a low altitude. So anyway… It has made a interesting subject to talk about at our lunch time.
Stay safe folks… enjoy your week.
