↳ one year anniversary:  a date with markiplier.

you look so familiar, have we met? must be destiny. –– i can’t wait to get to know you, but it feels like i might’ve known you for a long time. either way, i can’t wait to see what this date has in store.

Can we take a moment and just look at the development of Adam Driver/Ben Solo/Kylo Ren in the Star Wars sequels?

Boy looks super young and fresh at that emo phase. Power is everything to him and he just wants to be like Vader.

Has grown into a man now who has met his match in the Force. Has become more stone like rather than an angry emo mess. He has seen his match and because of her, he has started to feel a pull to the light. She became his beacon. But still, he wanted power. He wanted her to rule alongside him.

Has officially become the man. The Ben Solo. He has gotten rid of his mask, he has synced with his soulmate. No longer is he on a quest for power, he is there to save the one person who has finally shown him love and care and even through the awful things he did, she still wanted him. So he comes to her rescue. He becomes Ben Solo.

I just think it’s interesting to see how much Adam as an actor and Ben Solo/Kylo Ren as a character have grown over the course of the sequels. It’s nice to see the difference because in The Force Awakens, he looks so completely different. Comparing him from TFA to The Rise of Skywalker, you can see the difference and the development that the character and the actor go through. And I just think that’s cool.
