I made my own pain and fatigue scale charts. Because I'm so adept at overcoming my symptoms the normal pain scale doesn't really work for me. I adjusted my numbers so that I could change the number into something I could tell a doctor when they inevitably ask me to rate my pain.

Pain Scale Chart with rainbow gradient background for each row, starting at red and ending at blue.

Row 1: Mine Drs Pain Scale Description
Row 2: 10 X I am not leaving my bedroom or bathroom, someone needs to bring me food and I need something to dull the pain or the pain will cause tears.
Row 3: 9 X I am not leaving my bedroom and bathroom for anything other than food.
Row 4: 8 10 Speaking is difficult. It is no longer practical to do activities outside of the bathroom or bedroom, but they can be done with assistance.
Row 5: 7 9 Necessary care activities are sacrificed. Academic activities and social activities can no longer be tolerated.
Row 6: 6 8 My pain is tiring. Paying attention is difficult. All activities require pacing and extra effort.
Row 7: 5 7 My pain is so distracting it is making me tired. It is hard to think. Necessary care activities are no longer all doable.
Row 8: 4 6 My pain is so distracting it is making me tired. It is harder to think. Necessary care activities are starting to be limited.
Row 9: 3 5 I can continue to do most activities
Row 10: 2 4 My pain bothers me but I can ignore it most of the time
Row 11: 1 3 My pain bothers me, but I can ignore it most of the time.
Row 12: 0 2 I am aware of my pain only when I pay attention to it
Row 13: X 1 My pain is hardly noticeable
Row 14: X 0 I have no pain.

So y'all know how there's a way to search multiple tags at the same time on a blog? (https://[blogURL].tumblr.com/search/%23[tag1]%2C%20%23[tag2]) well i got the wonderful idea to Frankenstein that^ bit of url with the tumblr dot com slash tag url, and it worked

https://www.tumblr.com/tagged/%23[tag1]%2C%20%23[tag2]?sort=recent

Some notes:

1. If you remove the first %23, instead of showing posts with only the specified tags, it will show posts tagged as as either [tag1], [tag2], or [tag1] + [tag2] (also, if you keep it, the side bar will say ##[tag1] instead of just #[tag1] for some reason)

2. The comma (%2C) doesnt seem to effect this at all and is purely visual

3. You can add more than two tags as long as you have %20%23 in between each tag (i tested with 3, havent tried anymore though i assume it will work with reasonsble amounts of tags)

4. If you try to follow the two tags page, the button will change, but if you refresh it will go back to saying follow instead of followed

Take this knowledge and go wild with it

tiktok has me STRESSED with their “cleaning aesthetic” vids, so here’s some things you should NOT mix when cleaning, and keep in mind that these can be components in cleaners that should not be mixed (for example, windex usually has ammonia in it and thus should be treated the same way):

bleach and vinegar: creates chlorine gas

bleach and ammonia: creates chloramine gas

bleach and rubbing alcohol: creates chloroform, hydrochloric acid, and chloroacetone

bleach and toilet bowl cleaner: if you’re using an acid-based toilet bowl cleaner, combining it with bleach will create chlorine gas

bleach and mold or mildew stain removers: acid-based stain remover=same as above

bleach and oven cleaners: many oven cleaners contain sodium hydroxide, which creates chlorine gas when combined with bleach

bleach and lysol: chlorine gas once again

(really just never mix bleach with anything other than water) (please stop fucking around with bleach)

drain cleaners: if you use one drain cleaner, do NOT follow it up with another. follow package directions on the one you’re using. you could cause an explosion that could also blind you if it gets in your eyes.

hydrogen peroxide and vinegar: you can spray these on the same surface and wipe down in between and make sure it’s dry before applying the other, but don’t combine them in one container bc you’re going to make peracetic acid.

surface cleaning powders: products based on oxalic acid-based cleaners (Bar Keepers Friend) and products based on trichloroisocyanuric acid (Ajax/Comet powders) create chlorine gas

source 5

good rule of thumb: always stick to one cleaner per surface/item that you’re cleaning to avoid interactions

btw I've found these stretches from the WAK blog very helpful when knitting a lot:

Btw I've Found These Stretches From The WAK Blog Very Helpful When Knitting A Lot:

Plus make sure to take breaks regularly - and stop if anything starts to hurt!

especially with gift knitting I know it can be tempting to push through it for a deadline, but it's really not worth causing long term injury. (And anyone knit-worthy should be understanding of that, imho.) Stay well :)
