What irks me about being asked in a group setting to share my pronouns is that I know that, in gender ideology circles, people will see my identity as a woman (female) as a voluntary agreement to align with the set of stereotypes that are typically assigned to women (female people). They pay lip service to abolishing gender roles, sure, but the facade shatters as soon as they say that they identify as trans because of their masculinity/femininity/lack of them/etc.

aka “I can’t escape sexism” vs “no matter how gnc I am I’ll always be a woman and that’s awesome”

since I have seen quite a few in rad spaces believe in the Goddess I wanted to make a poll out of curiosity.
