God I remember the first time I read this.

The horniness that quickly morphed into unease and then full on panic but also still being kinda into it??? I feel like that says a lot about me😭 but that’s besides the point. This fic is AMAZING. The build up is perfect and the twist is revealed so beautifully that you feel like you should’ve seen it coming but you DONT because you don’t notice all the signs until it’s too late (much like our dear reader)

I cant praise this fic enough. This writer never disappoints EVER and everything they write is a delight! God I want another fic in the cloud nine universe just to see the dynamics of Jimin and Jin more and how this plays out through Jimin’s POV. Now that I am not sleep deprived I can rave over this fic because it had me about to fall out of my bed at 5 am. 

Ashley you’re such a talented writer and all of your work proves it but THIS?? Only 3 chapters in and I’m already so invested in this. You know a fic is good when it includes a kink you’re indifferent about but suddenly reading it is making you vibrate and you start questioning yourself. 

I literally said fuck sleep to finish all the chapters and have no regrets about it! My favorite part is the characterization between all the boys. They all have their own personality that’s so distinct and I love it because it makes encounters with all the boys (Kims and Jimin) so exciting because you get to see how reader’s personality meshes with all of them and see how they all handle her (which is well. they handle her amazingly but in their own ways) I was cackling throughout the whole fic (especially when reader was planning her life with Seokjin post-orgasm because what a BIG mood). Not only is it hot, it’s a feel good fic and makes you smile.

Overall, I am in love with this fic and I can’t wait to see where it goes! 10/10 will reread <3

I knew Bee was going to blow me away with this before I even read it but she really blew it out of the water! I love how in 3k words she was about to give us a tale about two characters’s relationships in a way that was kinda heartbreaking and sad but also fueled with so much emotion that enhanced the smut even more and made the forbidden aspect just THAT much hotter. God I wish it was a full blown series, it would be so amazing. Daechwita floored me and I knew it would inspire some gold and this is the exact gold I was talking about.

OH MY GOD.

Okay so. Lord have mercy, let’s dissect this amazing fic. 

I love the characterization of Hyungwon (and every other member of MX tbh) because it feels SO spot on. The texts between reader and him from the beginning of them being friends is SO endearing that it made me cackle and my heart swell. The pacing was perfect and I always found myself wanting more as I kept reading (I wanted more even after the fic was over but I won’t be greedy). 

The way their unconventional anonymous relationship blossomed so naturally. The pining of wanting their sworn enemy was also so hot, the whining of each other's names while sexting someone they didn’t think was the person in their minds simultaneously killed me and gave me life. Hyungwon going from not knowing how to sext to sexting GOD threw me for such a loop and honestly when they finally meet up and figure out who the other person was at the grad party I was so close to screeching. I ALMOST COMBUSTED WHEN HYUNGWON SAID “what are you wearing?”. The ending smut was S O satisfying in that they finally were getting together and it was also just really fucking hot and a huge turn on.

I haven’t been able to get Hyungwon out of my head since I read this fic last night. 10/10 will DEFINITELY read again. An absolutely amazing job and one of the best Hyungwon fics I have ever read.

“You’ve been asleep for fifteen hours, I came to check if you were still alive.” Kihyun explains, walking towards you and holding out what you’ve made out to be a single pill of tylenol and a glass of water. “I told you to be careful with your drinks last night, you know.”

You slowly sit up, rolling your eyes as you leans against your headboard, graciously accepting the pill and water and downing it in one gulp. Your esophagus feels less dry and you relish in the fleeting moment of peace before another strike of pain emits in your skull and sends jolts of agony down your bones and nerves. You wince once more, closing your eyes.

“What happened last night?” you ask your roommate, attempting to recollect your memories of the night before in the darkness behind your eyelids but coming up blank.

“You got drunk,” Kihyun answers you, hands shoved into his pockets as if he were looking for something. “Then, after your 5th shot or whatever, you told me you were going to the bathroom. You were gone for, like, 50 minutes, so I tried phoning you to see where you were, but my phone was gone! Luckily, I found you on the floor next to the ladies bathroom,” he pauses and then lifts up his phone - his shattered phone - to your face. “Next to this.”

His eyes are sharp, pointed directly at you as you gulp and shrink down in confused guilt before an apologetic smile attempts to stretch on your face. “I’m sorry?”

“You should say that to the people you texted,” Kihyun shrugs, shoving his phone back into his pocket and crossing his arms. “You messaged every single person off of my contacts list. Your phone’s been going off for the past fifteen hours while you’ve been asleep.”

Your eyes widen. “Oh shit.”

“Oh shit, indeed.”

I had the pleasure of beta reading this for Ani and let me just say, this story takes you for a loop. I can’t wait to go through it again. You feel all the emotions: anger, sadness, joy, confusion. The world is built beautifully and you can picture your surroundings in your head. You can see the mythical creatures, the woods around you, little Tata and the fierce protector Taehyung. Absolutely worth the read. I love Fantasy AUs as well so this is the perfect little fic if you want to paint a pretty mental image and go on an emotional journey with a cute protector and an even cuter dragon.
