I'll never understand why Ren and Nora are such a popular couple.

I mean, yeah, Nora is blatantly crushing on Ren, but the impression I got from canon is that Ren DOESN'T view Nora as a potential romantic partner (with "A Night Off" even implying he's deeply uncomfortable with the idea of dating her), to the point I figured his love for her was FAMILIAL rather than romantic.

Add in the "Please do nothing to the cook." apron, and he just strikes me as being extremely aroace.

Like, every moment that's implied he's reciprocated her romantic feelings just feels like "Oh, they're a boy and a girl who've known each other for years, of COURSE they're gonna date", when like...

The idea of Ren in a romantic relationship with ANYONE just doesn't feel right to me.

Add in that Nora based her entire IDENTITY off of being Ren's future wife, and uh...

Yeah... I don't think any romantic relationship between the two of them would ever be healthy.
