“-When you gave your heart to me-” Jake continued. “You gave it in hopes I’d return my own.” It wasn’t a question. It was an observation. As if Jake could see right through him.

“Was that… so much to ask for?” Drew asked, and Jake took a moment before answering:

“I’m glad I could… be there with you, you know?”

Drew didn’t respond, but Jake could still hear his heart racing.

Slowly, he lifted his head from Drew’s shoulder.

“Are… you sure you’re okay?”

“Yeah…” Drew answered, before finally turning to face him.

“Jake?”

Jake tilted his head, and Drew’s eyes searched his expression, opening his mouth to speak before deciding against it.

“You’re really cheesy,” He eventually said.

Sleepy boys

You cannot tell me these two wouldn’t have awful sleep schedules. Sean has to deal with parents arguing all the time, and Drew’s just a nerd who’d be up until like 4am on his PC

(I also kinda headcanon that Drew has depression, and I doubt that’d help his sleep schedule either. Lots of nights overthinking and all.)

These two better receive lots of hugs in S2 I will cry if they don’t
