ââŠDrew was screaming again, but Jakeâs expression didnât change. He took a few steps forward, closing the distance between them before resting a hand against Drewâs cheek.â

This piece is actually a redraw of a piece I made almost a year ago, just before I started this Tumblr. Itâs also a scene from the next fanfic I have in store, which is probably one of my favorites so Iâm really excited to share it!
Anyways heres the before and after:

(Sorry for all the fanfic-related content Iâve been producing recently. Iâm not really sure if thatâs what a majority of people are interested in, but Iâm just really proud of where my writing is, and itâs something I want to share. Also I want to see how much I can get right about TMF S2 before it releases lol. I have a few more fic-related posts, but I promise I get back to posting more art and headcanons too. And I also gotta few things in store for pride month, I just need more time on them.)

Synopsis: Drew finds himself caught in the rain, and ends up running into possibly the last person he wants to see.
A/N: This takes place after the events in Episode 11. I gave the Drake fans a little treat with this one. (Side note, one of the scenes was heavily inspired by an edit on Youtube, but I donât remember who the creator since the original video has since been made private.)

Drew couldnât remember how he ended up here.
His surroundings were obscured by darkness; he could feel raindrops falling down around him, along with a cool wind which only seemed to send the rain in his direction. Within moments, Drew was already soaked.
He could hear the sound of thunder approaching, but there was no flash of light. No sign of where he could be, or where he could go.
Letting out a small sigh, Drew threw his hood over his head, and began to move forward as he shoved his trembling hands in his pocket. He didnât know where he was going, but hopefully, he could find somewhere to escape the rain.
However, the longer he walked, the more he realized he wasnât getting anywhere. It was impossible to see, and he was only growing colder by the second.
Drew blinked when a light began to flicker in the distance, and he was quick to realize it was an old streetlamp.
A familiar one, tooâŠ
Just underneath was a small bench, big enough to fit about two people. A dirt path led up to it, and surrounding it was nothing but grass and a few small trees. He knew where he was now.
Him, Liam, Henry, and⊠Jake, would sometimes come here after school. It was along the way to Liam and Henryâs neighborhood, so theyâd usually rest here for a few minutes just to get Henry to stop complaining about having to walk.
Drew stopped when he grew closer to the wooden bench, resting his hand on the backrest and noticing a few initials carved into it.
An H and an L were carved along the first plank, and the secondâŠ
A D and a J, with a heart around the letters.
Henry was the one whoâd drawn the heart, and while Jake had simply laughed it off, Drew could recall going off on a tangent about how heâd rather die than date Jake. Or something along those lines.
Jake had teasingly wrapped his arm around him, acting all hurt about the fact Drew wouldnât ever go out with him. Heâd gone on about how charming he was after that, but⊠Drew couldnât remember what heâd said.
What he did remember was the scent of Jakeâs cologne. The way his eyes glistened in the sunlight. His smile, his playful and confident toneâŠ
The soft pink of his lipsâŠ
The idea ofâŠ
Drew shook his head, reminding himself that it was all a lie. Jake never cared about him. He never cared about any of them.
All those little moments of laughter. All those late night calls. All those gifts Drew had gotten him. All those memories. All lies.
âŠHe was a damn good liar, that was for sure.
Letting out a shaky breath, Drew sat down on the bench, forgetting his original mission of getting out of the rain. He was already soaked, regardless.
Instead, he placed his elbows on his knees, burying his face in the palms of his hands.
God⊠why did it hurt so badly? Why did he still want him back? Jake never cared about them, so⊠why did Drew still care about him?
Drewâs hands began to tug at his hair, biting down on his lip as he remembered the way Jake would smile. The way heâd laugh. The look in his eyes when got all smugâŠ
God, what was wrong with him?
âEnjoying the rain?â Drew jumped at the sudden voice, looking over his shoulder to see-
He swallowed. Standing behind him was a man with peach-blonde hair, and a navy blue jacket.
Jake.
He held a black umbrella over his head, and leaned a bit closer to cover Drewâs as well. Drew, however, inched away from him, putting himself back in the rain.
âThe hell are you doing here?â Drew snapped, his voice laced with hostility. Jake shrugged.
âCould ask the same for you,â He answered casually, sitting down on the bench beside him. Drew stiffened.
âDoesnât matter.â He answered. âJust shove off, I donât need you here.â
âI didnât know I needed your permission.â Jake commented, showing no sign of moving. Drew wanted to get up and leave, go anywhere else that wasnât there. But his legs wouldnât move.
âWhat do you want?â Drew asked, dropping his gaze to the ground. Jake was quiet for a moment, before he shook his head.
âYou have a lot you want to say to me, donât you?â Drew paused for a moment, only for a short laugh to escape him. Was Jake being serious right now?
âOh, oh yeah, just a little bit,â Drew forced himself from the bench, running a hand through his hair. He took a deep breath. âWhat the fuck is wrong with you?!â Drew suddenly yelled. âHow can you just sit here and talk to me so easily? Do you expect me to just forget the fact that you spent 3 years just using us?!â He took a step closer.
â3 fucking years, Jake! Did you even bother to think about how weâd feel?! We cared about you, dammit! I cared about you! And the second you found someone better, you left me for dead! You selfish bastard, did I mean nothing to you?!â Drew could feel tears welling up in his eyes, coming dangerously close to spilling over. His chest was heaving. Jake only stared at him, showing no sign of answering.
âWas it all a lie, Jake?â He asked, his voice beginning to waver. âWere you just using me because you thought I was safe?!â He paused for a moment, taking in a breath before continuing. âDid⊠you even like me at all?â
âŠ
âANSWER ME, DAMMIT!!â Drew screamed.
âI think we both know the answer to that.â Jake finally said. Drew paused, his breath caught in his throat. But⊠what did he expect?
âI hate you, Jake. I hate you so fucking much.â
âSo then why do you still need me?â Drew could feel his throat tighten, but despite that, he laughed.
âDid you not just hear a word I said?â Drew huffed. âI never needed you! You were the one who needed me because you were too weak to stand on your own!â Drew was screaming again, but Jakeâs expression didnât change. He took a few steps forward, closing the distance between them before resting a hand against Drewâs cheek.
âThen why arenât you pushing me away?â Jake whispered, and Drew could feel his breath hitch, the words he wanted to say caught in his throat.
âFrom the very start, you thought I was different.â Jake started. âYou thought I saw past what you could offer. You thought I valued you for⊠being you.â
âAnd you were so desperate for someone to care about you. You revolved your whole world around me. I became your Sun. I became your light in the darkness. Your warmth on cold days. Without me⊠you were lostâŠâ
âBut now⊠youâve learned how badly a Sun can burn. Yet⊠you refuse to let me go. At least⊠not here.â
Drewâs glanced to the side, taking in their surroundings as he wondered what Jake couldâve meant. But the blonde tilted his head back, forcing their eyes to meet.
âDespite everything Iâve done, youâre still drawn to me. You still need meâŠâ
Drewâs mouth felt dry, and he could feel his heart skip a beat when Jakeâs eyes trailed down to his lips.
âŠWhat was happening?
âOtherwise, I donât think youâd let me do thisâŠâ
Without warning, Jake pressed his lips against Drewâs, and the magenta-haired man let out a small noise, his eyes widening.
This shouldnât be happening. This was wrong. Jake lied to him. Jake hurt him.
And yet, Drew couldnât bring himself to push him away.
He⊠didn't realize how long he'd been craving this⊠How desperately he yearned for thisâŠ
The tears slipped from Drew's eyes as he kissed him back, his arms wrapping around the blondeâs waist as he pressed himself closer.
This was wrong, this was all wrongâŠ
But it felt so good⊠he never wanted it to stop.
Everything just felt so⊠warm. His body felt weak, his head was light.
But eventually, Jake broke away, leaving Drew stumbling forward and leaning against the blondeâs chest. His lips were parted slightly, his breaths coming out short and quick.
He blinked, and without thinking, he spoke.
âCan⊠we do that again..?â Drew voice was barely above a whisper, he could barely hear it over the sound of his own heartbeat.
âPlease...â
Jake smirked, his hands resting on Drewâs shoulders as he leaned closer, his lips brushing against Drewâs ear. Drew held his breath.
âSee? You still need meâŠâ Drew swallowed, blinking tears from his eyes. He⊠he was rightâŠ
âBut I donât need you anymoreâŠâ
*+*+*
Drewâs eyes flew open, letting out a small gasp as his gaze met his bedroom ceiling.
It was just a dreamâŠ
Drew slowly sat up, staring down at his hands.
âŠWhat kind of dream was that?

His gradual emotional decline throughout the series hasnât left my brain since the release of Episode 11.
đZoey + Maria Canon: Zoey is a total bitch who treats her friends poorly. Maria mildly tolerates her.
đ©·Zoey + Maria TO ME: Bickering is their love language. Maria's the only girl Zoey doesn't view as incompetent or annoying or beneath her. They're best friends. Maria's absolutely smitten for Zoey. And Zoey would be the same if Maria wasn't a girl. Zoey's never once considered them as anything more than best friends. Maria thinks about Zoey constantly. The two snuck a few drinks one time during a sleepover, kissed, and refused to unpack it the next day.

đ©·ANYWAYS ZOEY/MARIA HEADCANONS!đ
đZoey spends about half an hour on just her makeup every morning, and consistently touches it up throughout the day.
đ©·Maria hates when people call her emo.
đZoey often helps Maria with her makeup.
đ©·Maria meanwhile loves straightening and styling Zoeyâs hair. (And Mariaâs own hair is definitely suffering from burn damage from how much she straightens it.)
đZoey is always inviting Maria over for sleepovers.
đ©·Maria and Zoey share clothes all the time as well.
đZoeyâs incredibly two-faced. She acts sweet with everyone, but has a habit of back-talking almost everyone she encounters.
đ©·Maria, meanwhile, is much more laid-back. She wonât say anything herself, but she has no problem listening to Zoey complain about everyone.
đZoey knows almost everyone in the school, and keeps note of everyoneâs gossip.
đ©·Mariaâs gotten very good at listening to Zoey ramble on and on about all of her problems. She doesnât talk about much of her own, though.
đPretty much the only people Zoey genuinely tolerates is Maria and Lia. Everyone else she finds mildly annoying at best.
đ©·Maria was very jealous of how close Lia and Zoey got. (In a perfectly normal and hetero way of course.)
đBoth Zoey and Maria are known for always having a stash of gum on them. (Zoey prefers mint gum, Maria likes bubble gum.)
đ©·Maria almost always has iced coffee in the mornings.
đZoeyâs always stealing Mariaâs food and drinks.
đ©·Maria and Zoey go shopping together and helps her plan outfits.
đZoey definitely tried out for the cheer team at one point, failed to make it in and cried.
đ©·Maria has been Zoeyâs shoulder to cry on countless times.
đThe two can argue for hours about their ships in shows. (And Zoey wonât shut up until Maria admits sheâs correct.)
đ©·Mariaâs always finding new shows for the two to watch.
đZoey showers Maria with compliments. (And may or may not have platonically kissed Mariaâs cheek several times.)
đ©·Maria has a very good poker face. (For no reason in particular.)
đExtremely fruity with Maria, but means absolutely nothing by it.
đ©·And Maria is absolutely down BAD for Zoey. (And was SUPER jealous of Drew lol.)
(I know these two will never be canon but please just hear me out theyâd be so cute I love them I love me some sapphic relationships.)
Hello I need to talk about these stinkers again.

Specifically, I need to talk about the fact that they are BULLIES. Because I feel like a lot of people (including myself) fall into the trap of ONLY focusing on either their dynamic with each other, or their dynamic with others in a world where everyoneâs friends. Nothingâs wrong with that, I love focusing on those aspects as much as the next, but I also feel like the fact these 4 are bullies gets kinda glossed over, and itâs something I want to talk about. Because theyâre stinky little shits. Who do stinky little things.
(FYI I do not condone these boysâ actions, but I will analyze the hell out of them because character studies are my favorite thing.)
Anyways with that out of the way I am now going to break down how they bully others, and why they bully others.
First, these losers. Their actions can be summarized in a single sentence: They act like Freshmen.

Anyone whoâs gone to a public high school can hopefully understand what I mean. Freshmen boys tend to be the oneâs who cause the most trouble. The ones who mess with people purely for shits and giggles. And despite Liam and Henry being Juniors, theyâre so Freshmen coded itâs not even funny.
I feel these two lack the self-awareness to truly understand how their actions affect other people, so theyâre constantly finding new ways to mess with people and get on their nerves. They donât care if someone gets upset or uncomfortable. They donât care about invading peopleâs privacy. They donât care how their words affect others. Because itâs not hurting them. And as long as itâs not hurting them, itâs funny.
Drawing from my own experiences with Freshmen, I feel these two would follow behind strangers uncomfortably close. Theyâre the type to go up to random people and say âHey, rate my friend.â Or âHey, my friend thinks youâre cute.â But do not mean it in the slightest. Theyâre the type to throw random snack bags at kids purely for how they dress or act. Because they think itâs funny. And they donât care what otherâs think.
Now for Jake, the victim of bullying himself. Hot take: Heâd be the WORST out of the four.

Because Jake knows what hurts the most. He knows how to cut deep, because otherâs have cut him deep. He draws from his experience. He says stuff that he remembers otherâs saying to him. And heâs does this all for the sake of his friends approval.
Because these are his first real friends. And without them, heâd go back to being a pathetic loner no one else wanted. Heâs so desperate for the approval of his new friends heâs willing to abandon his own morals for them. But I do believe he has a limit. Heâd never actively invade someoneâs privacy. (Considering how he prevented Liam from doing so in the Comic Episode.) And I also cannot see him harming someone in any form. But other than that, Jakeâs arguably the scariest out of the four.
I feel like this aspect combined with his charming playboy persona kinda gives him this âillusive bad boyâ reputation, even if thatâs not who he truly is. So heâs essentially trapped parading around as someone heâs not.
Finally, Drew. Infamous for his ability to turn the word âfreakâ into a slur.

I donât view Drew as the meanest of the bunch, nor do I view him as some intimidating final boss either. To me, heâs more of a ringleader. Someone who controls the others, while doing very little himself.
Heâs typically the one to instigate, then sit back and laugh as he watches the others do the rest. Heâs eggs the others on occasionally, but ultimately, heâs more like an amused bystander. Consider the way he sat back and watched as Liam and Henry messed around in the clubroom in Episode 8, and consider the way he essentially did nothing but laugh as he watched Henry and Liam throw Haileyâs book around in the Comic Episode. Both times, he set the target on Hailey, only to sit back and watch as Henry and Liam did the rest.
However, Drew can absolutely be ruthless when he wants to, at least verbally. Because I believe what Zander said in Episode 2 holds a lot of truth to it: âTheyâre a walking reflection of their insecurities.â
Iâve already made several posts about Drewâs family issues, his codependency, and his overall lack of self-worth and loneliness, so I wonât be repeating them but my goodness is this boy an insecure mess.
He calls Hailey a control freak, yet is constantly shown trying to control Jake by pushing him away from the club. He tells Hailey to âget lost and know where sheâs not wantedâ likely because he struggles feeling unwanted. He calls Haileyâs whole music concert worthless without Jake, because he feels worthless without Jake.
Drew and Jake are actually rather similar if you really think about it. Both are implied to have low self-esteem and abandonment issues, and both mask it by pretending to be more confident. But how they deal with their issues is where they begin differ, and this further reflects in their reasons for picking on others.
Jake is always changing himself for others, because he doesnât know if heâll truly be accepted for being himself. And the only reason he bullies others is because he feels he has to. Drew, meanwhile, finds ways to make himself seem like the best option. Heâs constantly buying his friends expensive gifts, and talks down others to make himself look better by comparison. He does nothing to change himself, unlike Jake.
TLDR: Henry and Liam are Freshmen, Jakeâs scary and I clearly cannot talk about Drew without spreading my Druffering propaganda. Have a good day. :3
Anyways Jomies shit-posts I made in 10 minutes featuring my âštraditional artâš wowwwww
