I will try to cut to the chase with this post. I am terminally ill. Right now, my family is struggling to make ends meet due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We owe $3,000 (2 months in rent) due to my parents losing their jobs. I had to drain my savings to pay for the basics for us. I paid one month of rent 3 months ago, as well as the phone bills, food, medications that are no longer covered for my parents, and hydro.
Once we have raised the $3,000, the rest will go towards daily living for us until the pandemic is over and rent if need be. If I pass away at any point, the funds will be able to be accessed by my family. There are several ways you can pay us.
The first option is Patreon. Patreon is a site where you can give monthly payments to your favourite content creators. This would be a wonderful way to support us as we can continue to use the monthly payments to support our wellbeing.
The second option is Ko-fi. This is a site where you can make one time payments to your favourite content creators. This is a wonderful way to support us if you can’t afford a monthly donation of $1 or more!
The third option is PayPal. I can give you this link if you dm me! This option is also perfect for one time payments.
Finally, I wanted to say that no one is obligated to donate, and please only do it if you are comfortable or can afford it. I don’t want to leave anyone short in this tough time.
