I Finished The Picture Of Dorian Gray Yesterday

i finished the picture of dorian gray yesterday

everyone only ever talks about the picture, and yet nobody talks about dorian's soul and the consequences, or his morals

is it so wrong to feel the yearning desire to live our life to what we consider is the fullest? i can't blame dorian, he was willing to sacrifice his soul to live like he wanted and i would too

he was an awful human being, a hypocrite, and he never actually regretted his actions

but do we have the rights to judge him?

"Klance wasn't queerbaiting" my ass

Edit: Since people are misunderstanding my comment on queerbaiting, I'm not saying crew members who shipped Klance are individually or personally responsible for the queerbaiting of Klance, I'm saying that this makes it more glaringly obvious that one can't deny that queerbaiting happened with Klance due to its prominent shipping by artists on the show, as well as the fact that the official art of it made fans even more expectant that it would be canon and I do not doubt that the crew members who made ship art of it were used to further queerbait even though they simply wanted to ship Klance and also wanted it to be canon.

You can also check out this fan website for Klance that will have even MORE official Klance art added soon: https://klanceiscanonking.neocities.org/ ! Note it isn't designed for mobile view.

James is the first to notice that someone has stepped in Sirius' room.

Any other day he's sure Remus would've been the first to notice, but the guy has quite literally just murdered James, proving his suspicion that he was one of the impostors all along, so James supposes that Remus has better things to do than go to Sirius' stream and pay attention to his setting.

Sirius, like the rest of them, is muted on their call, and James wonders if he's also one of the killers. If he is, chances are he'll get his partner voted out for killing James, not out of loyalty for his best friend, but because he always saves James for last so he can enjoy fucking with everyone around them.

Also, James is a great alibi in general, impostor or not, they often fuck around the map together just to mess with their friends.

His curiosity about Sirius being one of the impostors gets him where he is now: watching his friend's stream, noticing that someone has just entered the room. Sirius glances to the side so fast it would be easily missed, but his lips twitch up, and soon after he's leaning over his right and pulling a chair close to his own.

It's not as fancy, but then Regulus Black shuffles behind him, towards the chair, a pout on his face as he sits down, his knees to his chest as the oversized hoodie he's wearing engulfs him completely.

He looks tired, and something must've happened, because Sirius bumps his shoulder against his, nodding towards the screen before briefly reaching over to pet the back of Regulus' head.

"Say hi to the chat Reggie, c'mon." Sirius' voice isn't as loud as it would normally be, which can only mean that James is right, again, and that something has happened to the younger one. Regulus waves at the screen, and if they were actually face to face, his eyes would've met James'.

He doesn't think about how that makes his heart skip a beat.

"Hi chat," he murmurs, softly and sleepy, and Sirius does a little dance at that. "Who's the other one?"

James snorts. Sirius is the other killer. Fucker.

Regulus rolls his eyes when he reads the chat. "Great, so I won't see my brother pull any kills, uh?"

"Hey!" Sirius scoffs at that, elbowing Regulus. "I'm an amazing killer!"

"Not when Remus is your partner, you're not." Regulus whines and his pouting comes back with a force. James can't help but smile ignoring the ghost chat. He's so glad he's not streaming today, just so he can watch Regulus without any of his followers calling him out. "You always let him get all the kills! I get you've got a weird thing where you think it's hot and he likes to do that, but I came here to be entertained!"

The chat goes wild, Sirius blushes and the flicks his brother square in the forehead. "Oh yeah?" He says, eyes narrowed. "You want to be entertained, little brother?"

"I would've been watching James, but he's not streaming today, so..."

James blushes, and that does it for Sirius, who only ever remembers that first moment of dislike that happened between himself and James when they first met when Regulus is around.

The game ends at record speed, Sirius muttering here and there about stupid younger siblings, and how cool he is, all the while Regulus oooohs and claps and giggles right by his side when he manages to murder the whole crew.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" Peter screams when they're unmuted. "WHAT JUST HAPPENED!"

"Sirius!" Remus sounds a little bit feral; he's been impostor once too many times this day, let alone the entire week... that changes him, they've noticed. "I only killed James!"

"Yeah," James cuts in, "thanks about that, mate."

"Hi, James!" Regulus laughs, the sound of his voice mixing with the rest of their friends' noises of understanding. "You've been avenged."

"My hero-"

"Alright, alright, we see how it is, Sirius wanted to show off, Regulus wanted James to be able to play again."

Regulus shrugs, and yes, James is still watching Sirius' stream. "It's only fair!" He exclaims. "He died first last round, too!"

"Aaw, Reggie!" Sirius pulls Regulus in with one arm. "You watch my streams!"

"Actually, I was watching Marlene's." Regulus deadpans, making Sirius sputter and James groan. Regulus covers his face with his sleeve, his fingers barely poking out. "Well, I'm sorry the one day I want to do nothing but lay down is the same day Jamie is not streaming!"

Sirius throws his hands in the air. "Sorry guys, we'll be right back, I need to lock my brother in his room and then go murder Potter, I guess."

Regulus laughs again, the sound a bit more full than before, a bit more genuine. James grins, tapping his finger over his mouth. "Death won't keep me from Redge, Sirius, I thought we'd been over this already."

And there it is, Regulus ducks his head, the movement not quick enough to hide the bright flush of his cheeks. Regulus blushes beautifully, so bright, and James has accidentally managed to find out where the blushing stops once it reaches Regulus' neck. Sirius had promptly kicked him out of the bathroom and onto the balcony, not listening to James screaming about it being an accident, but internally he had considered it a win, even as he waited to be let in again on Sirius' balcony at 10pm in the middle of winter.
