I am honestly so mad about the lack of respect the nhl has for the black lives matter mouvement. THE OTHER TEAMS IN OTHER LEAGUES LITERALLY BOYCOTTED/STOPPED THEIR GAMES, and what does the nhl do. Oh, well they decided putting something up on the big screen would be the best thing for them.

Well on that note I say shame on the nhl, shame on them, shame on the players who aren’t helping what so ever(which most of them have particularly large platforms to share information on about this mouvement). I’m not one to be this mad and disgusted with the league but this need to stop.

The nhl need to see what they are doing. They need to understand the severity(seriousness) of this mouvement. I really hope they figure their sh!t out, because as of now I will stop watching and streaming their games until they do something about this.

honestly at this point I'm fed up. nhl does nothing. players do nothing. they will let anything happen and never address real problems. this goes for everyone. this goes for those who spoke out at the beginning of the movement and have done nothing to back it up. this goes for captains who are supposed to be leaders yet don't have the spine to condemn racism and police brutality. this goes for everyone who hasn't spoken up because they don't think it's their place or important enough to comment on. this goes for everyone who uses the excuse that others have already said something and therefore they don't need to. the nhl and its players do not care, let's make that very clear right now. they don't care, they never did care, and they continue to not care. no one gets a free pass, this applies to all teams, and it applies to my teams as well. it applies to your favorite player. staying silent in times like these says more than saying nothing. nhl and its players are complicit. they're all chicken shit bitches and I'm tired of this bullshit day in and day out.

boycott the nhl. they don't deserve your support. I will not be posting anything regarding games for the rest of the stanley cup series or discussing them. black lives are more important than any game or sport. supporting the nhl right now sends a message that you care for entertainment more than you care about social issues.
