I was simply going to post this, but then I thought, there's more to it than that.

I don't so much love being lesbian as I love my lesbian relationship. I love my girlfriend, I love being in love with her, I love the way she snuggles, the way she feels, the way we mesh, the way we are compatible. I love the way she loves me.

Yes, there are certain aspects to the relationship that I love that are unique to being lesbian-- it is 100% true that lesbian sex is better. I think she fits me and fills my personal needs better partly because she is a beautiful woman (inside).

But what I really love is my girlfriend.
