It's Fret again, from the side where you can't see his face. I'd been at work all day, I just drew the first thing that came into my head.

This year one ear fell off, but the other hasn't yet. Who knows how long he'll be lopsided?

Sketchavember - Day 18
Behold! A clue as to what Shasta's story actually is! At some point, Jessie gets stuck in his world, which is thousands of years after an apocalypse took place in her time. In her world no such event ever occurred, it's all very perplexing.
...I think I need to add 'heavily shaded pencil drawings' to the list of things I shouldn't start drawing at 9:30 in the evening.

I was very tired on Monday, so in the end I drew Coda sleeping on the floor. She is also very tired.
Fun Sarah Fact: I used to lie on the floor face down in a ball like this if I was really tired. My sisters used to say I looked either like a hamster, or like a bug.

Sketchavember - Day 19
These elves are supposed to look like their environment, so Fret resembles the forest in the same way that Larkspur resembles the marshes. Larkspur has muddy brown skin and reed-like hair, Fret has skin and hair the colour of a silver birch, including the characteristic dark lacerations.
