the first dragon age drawing i ever did is a deeply unfinished sketch of a male trevelyan and a female lavellan and in the first panel trevelyan’s got a casual arm around her shoulder laughing as he says “i’m not saying you can’t date the ex templar, just, there are plenty of nice mages...” and she’s replying with a smile “i suppose that’s true” and then in the next panel they’re sitting in dead silence both missing an arm with lavellan visibly crying with her hands over her face and in the third panel trevelyan says “well, first of all, i just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, my bad” and lavellan lifts her hands and turns around to glare at him
