they'd have met while she was working at the aquarium and he's there to drop off the fish he caught bc...that's how he gets paid lol.

john b sees her and is like instantly in love and doesn't realize she's now come up to him and started talking to him.

"how do you always bring this many fish in? you must have really great technique!" smiling brightly at him with big eyes, and he's like

"uh, nah...j'us you know normal stuff..." all awkward, trying not to blow it.

"you smell like sea, like salty n fishy!" you beam and he's now like
