I ended up writing on a whim a whole long fic based on a scene i couldn't get out of my head after catching up on the owl house today. It's a meager thing, but i hope you enjoy it.

Summary:

A glimpse into one of the nevitable rougher patches for Hunter with his new friends in that week Luz was missing, there's no way they would simply leave him to his own devices living out of the school or worse out and about on his own. He was scared, he was hurting, and he was their friend. Of course they'd be there for him.
