Life In China #15 Shopping Malls
Life in China #15 Shopping Malls
In the large cities, there is an abundance of malls. Turn to your left, a mall. Turn to your right another mall. Look up? That towering building may indeed be a mall.
There is literally a mall around every corner, with 3 within walking distance of my university. Back at home, we have one mall in our city and it's a 45 min bus ride to get there.
It's quite a nice mall, but China's 10 floor malls just make my head spin.

Insect season is now in full swing.
Almost every dorm floor has complained about the flying roaches, and now our dorm just issued a notice warning us about ants and to keep everything closed. Fun times ahead.
Life in China #13 Summer
Summer means insect season, which has now apparently expanded to includes wasps as I discovered when walking to pick up my parcel, and having a wasp just randomly crash into my forehead and then nonchalantly buzz off on it's merry little way.
Re: Playlist - It's partly done and avaliable here on youtube for anyone interested!
It's mostly 2000-2016ish songs for now, but my beloved 70s-90s hits will be added once I have some more spare time.
It includes english versions of the songs by the artists, one or two that are a mixture of Russian and another language aka 2003, and a slightly embarrassing amount of Sergey Lazarev songs.
Note: Some songs aka Voyage may include some explicit language, just as a heads up.
Enjoy!
Call me biased but 1970s-2000s was the peak of russian music. Not that there aren't any good songs now, but there's just something about music from time period that really gets me.
