I don't know why I do this to myself, but I have a confession to make.....
I love reading unfinished/abandoned fics. It gives me life to read the snippet of art that was bestowed to us by the author.
The only reason why I haven't written my own ending/continuation of the story is because I know that I can never live up to the original author.
I will never know how they would’ve continued the story and I know for a fact that I will finish the fic the exact same way I would with the other 1000 unfinished fics that I have read.
Every person is unique and their mind even more so and trying to figure out what they would have wanted from the story while being constricted by your own mind is pure torture. The knowledge that one can not become better while relying solely on themselves is the brutal reality of being human.
