I always thought that it was supposed to be a funny coincidence in PnF that the A and B plot always interacted in the end and canceled each other out. The B plot, for the most part, somehow always made PnF's inventions disappear. A few times the A plot does that to the B plot. The two cancel each other out (except for the episodes where the boys' inventions aren't considered bad enough to get in trouble for).

Even with this new information, I won't really think about when I decide to rewatch Phineas and Ferb since it doesn't really change that the interaction between the two plots at the end of almost every episode is supposed to be a coincidence.

This new fact is a retcon in the PnF universe and I usually don't revisit things with retcons in mind since sometimes other things stop making sense.

Okay it’s official… I don’t like The Phineas and Ferb Effect, because one specific plot point is HORRIFYING.

I still can’t believe that in the last 10 years Superman, Green Arrow, Flash and Supergirl all had live-action shows about them with 100-200 episodes, meanwhile Batman literally didn’t have his own show since the 60′s??

Like yeah he’s definitely overexposed on the big screen, but the fact fact that he (nor any of the Batkids) never had their own TV show is crazy to me.
