How Prince and B.E.N. met

Late at night, Prince was walking back to his house after having closed his restaurant, passing by the usual, dark and boringa alleyways. Until suddenly

Soft rumbling could be heard between the various trashcans. He didn't pay too much attention to it, considering the amounts of rats there probably were between all that trash, noise was expected.

As he started walking away, he heard pained whines from the same alleyway. Definitely not a noise a rat can make.

Prince made his way back, reluctantly checking between the trashcans, until a bright orange hit his vision.

And there he was

A big, void-black demon, his face painted with blood, tears and ink. He didn't seem to care about the blood itself, but the ink, he kept looking at his hands, arms and body. Weird.

The demon looked at Prince, his pupil quickly narrowing as he bared his sharp teeth with a soft hiss.

Prince carefully stepped toward the figure, holding his hand out like one would do with a feral cat (ironic innit)

"Hey...mister. You seem hurt. Do you need help?"

The demon quickly snapped and latched on Prince's arm, jaw pressing down, his teeth cutting through the flesh, the other let out a sharp hiss of pain, trying not to tug his arm away as it'd hurt more.

"GOD FUCKING- HRGH- OH YOU LITTLE-"

The demon stayed there, sobbing softly as his tears went down his cheeks and onto the others arm. He also seemed shocked at his own action, his instinct overpowering thought. He really didn't want to hurt the kind toon, what if he also rejects him now...?

Prince slowly and carefully guided the demon so they could both sit against the wall behind them, letting out a deep sigh. Still throwing hisses of pain, he forced a slight smile and spoke

"Let's stay here until you've calmed down...i'll make you something to eat after we get home. And maybe give you a bath. Looks like you need em."

Hey guys! Still pretty unable to draw at the moment, so I'll totally take suggestions to draw my fellas for when I can!

And, whilst I'm just here, I'll give you guys a bit of lore!

So, in that note, here's how the dorks met!!

Bourbon was out at a bar for the first time since a rather bad incident, obviously quite out of it and panicking a little. Stoli would find the only open stool was next to him to sit down and get himself a drink.

He'd notice how the wolf is just downing a couple shots then just sitting there looking off at nothing.

Stolis not one to really be concerned for people but it did worry him...

So the demon would give Bourbon a drink and try to strike up a bit of friendly conversation.

Bourbon would be generally unresponsive at first but start ranting about how his last partner basically left him all alone at the worst time possible. He'd still take the time to listen as Stoli ranted too about his dumbass boss.

But here's the thing... As Stoli was listening he'd remember how he was there to pick someone up for interrogation, something about their connections to a crime boss... and upon asking the wolf his name he'd realise it's him...

Shockingly though, after a while of talking to and eventually joking with the guy, he'd feel kinda bad about it and decide against it.

Even as Stoli just walks him home to make sure he gets there safe, although the thought of his job was still there... he wouldn't do it.

By this point Bourbon was too wasted to realise Stoli had been drinking water the last five rounds. But when they reached his cold empty house, with police tape still strewn about the door, he'd turn back to Stoli and thank him for helping and said it was nice to be less alone. At least for a moment.

Stoli, who did think of Bourbon as good company at this point even though he did still feel bad for him, would tentatively ask if he wanted him to stay the night. Bourbon would try to play it cool but there would be a small light in his eyes that had been absent the rest of that evening as he shrugs and says

"Sure w-whatever you wanna do..."
