Award-winning Palestinian Children's Illustrator Baraa Awoor Writes:
award-winning palestinian children's illustrator baraa awoor writes:

"what use is it to be an illustrator of children's books when the world has sentenced the children of your country to the death penalty, to vanish, to genocide?"
some of baraa's illustrations:

this is an illustration for youssef, whose mother is remembered running desperately into the hospital asking if anyone had seen a "small white boy with beautiful curly hair, his name is youssef," a description which was remembered by millions when she finally identified his body:

this illustration is for young omar, who was hugging his little brother and teaching him how to repeat the shahada after him (a prayer spoken by muslims before their death) as he lay on his hospital bed:

"we want a new year that doesn't kill us or our children, we want it a year without blood, without screaming, without pain, we want a new attempt to get our lives back, or something that resembled our life, even if life is a lie we still cling to it, return life to us—a new year's card unlike any other year:"

Cry me a river to the sea

Márah, @freepaleatine95, is a computer science major who loved being a student but the IOF destroyed that for her just like they destroyed her home and families store. Just like they martyred her brother back in 2006.

Her parents were already chronically ill prior to the brutal increase in genocidal activity by israel and the weather is only making that worse. The rain seeps into their make-shift tent and destroys their remaining possessions, including the very precious flour they had been able to retain.

They've currently raised $13,755 of $50,000
Please share and donate so we can work to keeping her and her family safer and drier than they are currently.
Vetted by 90-ghost back when she was on a prior blog, but tumblr is a zionist hell hole and her blog was deleted. Please help her keep up momentum for her campaign
🇵🇸🍉🚨🚨🚨
My name is Khalil from the stricken Gaza Strip I live with my family in miserable conditions that lack the basic necessities of life. Although I am embarrassed to ask for help and donations, unfortunately I have to. My mother was killed in this war😭😭, and my brother Muhammad and my brother Muayad were wounded. My brothers, the children are suffering from the scourge of displacement.
Please don't make us feel like we are alone in this tragedy🥹🥹
Please please please🙏 donate any amount to us or post and share my campaign
All along history, millions of innocent people, civilians, were killed in order to reach the opposite government. During world war one, bombs were thrown and massacres happened where civilians, who had no political power, lived. The same thing happened during world war two and is still happening. Regardless of the nation and of the "side", innocent people were and are being hurt and killed.
People are losing their lives only because they were born in a certain country.
Civilians have no blame on what's happening, yet they're the most affected by it.
The Israel/Palestine territory was not defined by Israel nor Palestine or even an asian entity, it was an arbitrary decision made by the UN based on English interests and it caused lots of issues to Palestine and other Islamic countries.
I want you to imagine yourself, fifty years from now, sitting with your grandchildren. Imagine them asking you “what did you do during the Gazan Genocide?” What will you say? Will you say “I did nothing?” Will you say “I did what I could?” By donating to this fundraiser, you will be able to say “I saved a man from cancer.” I’m sure many of you have seen the fundraiser for @mohiy-gaza2 . What you might not know is that Mohiy himself is very sick. He told me himself that he recently had an MRI to diagnose a tumor in his pancreas, and now needs surgery to remove his spleen. Dealing with these illnesses is difficult enough for those of us lucky enough to live in peaceful countries; in a warzone Mohiy’s task is nothing short of horrific. I know pancreatic cancer is a difficult disease, but with our help, I believe Mohiy can beat it.
I know there are other fundraisers on your dash. I’m sure your bank accounts are already low from the donations you’ve already made. All I can do is beg you, from the bottom of my heart: help Mohiy and his family. I’ve already donated; please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can. To quote Mohiy himself:

Thank you for reading this. I know Mohiy and his family are grateful for anything you can give.
Help save an infant's life!!
We're almost at the year mark for the current Israeli aggression, and my friend Dina ( @dina-my-family ) has been living in a tent with her two young children for this entire time. Her oldest, a beautiful little girl, is 2 years old, and her son, a miracle of life brought into the world in the midst of war, is under a year old.
Her family has been displaced several times, and she's had to run from bombings with her terrified children. Dina's had little access to medical care for herself and her children, including when she was pregnant, and it's difficult for them to get food and water. On top of this, their tent provides little protection from the elements, and with winter coming, the cold will be incredibly dangerous.

Recently, her little son has developed a fever, and we are both scared for him. She needs medicine to help him get better, but as most things in Gaza, the medicine is incredibly expensive. It's incredibly URGENT that she is able to get proper care for her son, a fever can be so so dangerous if left untreated.

All Dina wants is for her children to be safe and happy again.
Her campaign has been struggling terribly, and it's difficult for her to hold onto this dream. Her children deserve better lives, Dina deserves a better life. Her campaign is their only way to achieve this. She NEEDS your help and your continued support to see the campaign completed. My heart can't stand seeing her campaign continuously go ignored. Please, I am begging you, do better for my friend. Help her children.

$7,998 / $50,000
Dina really can't afford for her campaign to stall like it has been, so please help her. She needs consistent support. The best way to help Dina is to donate to her campaign. She needs the money for food, water, clothes and blankets, and medicine for her little son. Even just a diaper is $70, to put into perspective just how expensive things are getting. If you don't have anything to donate, I understand, but please consider other ways you can help her. You can make your own posts, repeatedly share her and my posts about the campaign, talk to your friends about it, there are many things. All I ask is that you do SOMETHING! Don't be complacent, and don't give into inaction!
Dina is vetted by association, please see here.
