Just a ramble, but
Ink sans really does mean so much to me.
He’s one of my longest standing favourites/comfort characters. Though not the longest ever, but still pretty resilient.
The thought of him encouraging and believing in me to do my best in my creative pursuits, and being proud of me when I succeed, really helps.
I once pretended to have a conversation with him when I was getting discouraged about drawing, and it actually genuinely helped me draw better.
Ink’s just magic like that.
I mean, how often do we get a character that literally does their in-lore job of inspiring others IN REAL LIFE by simply existing??
I guess Splatter and Splattertale have kinda become a sort of “thank you” for him, in a way. Even though the guy isn’t real.
Just goes to show that art really is all about how it makes us feel, not what’s physically there (though that part is still valuable and important ofc).
I mean, idk it’s kinda cheesy but it feels like he sorta raised me in my art journey? I’ve known about him since I was 12, and I’m 20 now. I remember the reason I started taking my art improvement seriously was because I wanted to make this fictional skeleton man proud.
And even when I… took a bit of a break from this fandom for a bit… I never truly forgot about him. I don’t think I ever will. They literally altered my brain chemistry lmao, I think it would be hard to forget such a character after that!
Idk, I just felt like talking abt how much this silly is important to me and the reasons why they now own a piece of my soul for eternity. Truly living in my head rent free. And, tbh, I don’t think Ink ever needs to pay that rent to stay here.
tumblr is filtering out all of the posts that have images on it in the #ink sans and #inktobertale2024 tags. I've already made contact to the tumblr support network, it would be nice if more people contacted them too!

I'm 18 days late but happy two year anniversary to comyet calling ink a whore (it was iconic)
Transcript: I wish more of the fandom did things with Ink's dads and family. Where's the stories and fanart where Error, Swap, or Dream meet Top and Aster? Or the Nightmare Gang finds out about Ink's dads and tries something, played for laughs or seriously depending on the gang's characterization? Or where PJ and Gradient are babysat by their grandads and Uncle Sans and Uncle Papyrus (Undertop Sans and Papyrus)? I'd love to see more with Ink's family.
Transcript: Words can’t describe how much I love undertale as a whole. It got me through the worst times I had, and now that I am free from my old situation I can’t help but be happy I found the game and the fandom. I wouldn’t have met the people I know nor even be here had I not been in this fandom.

Ok ok so hear me out: imagine making matching bracelets with Ink!!!!!!! That's it that's the post my brain is melting over this, it would be so funnnnn and Ink would add a ton of silly stuff to his and aaahhhh maybe there's silly moments where one bracelet almost falls apart but one of you manages to save it somehow or AHHHH idk I just. I just want quality time with Ink y'know
