But seriously I really have thought of a funny lil AU idea - it’s a 50s Showa era one that suddenly popped into my head one day

Anyways here’s a select few of the pieces I made for said AU, and I’ll announce what the AU is supposed to be for in the tags, though it will probably quite a surprise because it looks nothing like its source media lol

Maturing is asking myself:

WHY THE FUCK DID I NEVER FEEL ANY SORT OF ATTRACTION TO THESE PRETTY LADIES WHEN I WAS IN MY ZELDA PHASE?!!?!??!????? AND WHY DID I HAVE THE AUDACITY THEN TO SAY THE FEMALE CHARACTERS (adults mostly) FROM TWILIGHT PRINCESS WERE UGLY?!?!!?!?!! YET SOME ANTHRO BUNNY FROM SOME SILLY STAR GAME DID IT FOR YOU?!? Was I really made to be that queerphobic back in the day?

I hope I can get back into my twilight princess phase sometime, but do it right this time

It’s easy to lose sight of some of life’s simple pleasures when you’re mired in the politics of a land you’re forbidden to enter. But every now and again we deserve to be reminded of just how beautifully the sea sparkles in the Gaza Strip, or just how high the rainbows over the West Bank’s grassy hills can go, or just how easy it is to visualize the earthy way of life in villages wiped away in 1948.
