It’s that time of year again: Royai Week is soon upon us!
The week will run from Monday the 6th of June until Saturday the 11th. Each day has a prompt, bar Royai Day itself (June 11th). This is so even if the prompts don’t inspire you, you can still participate in the week if you wish to. The sky is the limit when it comes to creations: you could write fic, draw art, compose a song, create a gifset!
We will be tracking the tag #royaiweek22, so remember to put that in your first five tags when the week begins so the mods can easily find and reblog your creations! We are also on twitter as royaiweek, so if you wish to crosspost there as well, you just need to tag us! Make sure to check out our FAQ if you have any more questions, or flick an ask to the mods. We’ll try and answer as promptly as we can.

Wheeee. I’m feeling real shy about this. I’ve never tried a gofundme before, much less posted something like this on social media.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer last summer. It’s been a whirlwind of medical procedures and very high medical bills covering costs over 2021 and 2022. I’m grateful to have finished the most intensive part of treatments (double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation), but I’m struggling with the financial side. It’s been hard to work steadily while recovering health-wise (though I’m trying my best!). I never had much money to begin with, and cancer expenses have become overwhelming.
You’re free to reblog and spread this around. I’m truly grateful for support of any kind.

Mustang and his team have been sent to help fight a terrible factory fire in East City. Of course, it’s tragically traumatic to the victims, but the rescuers have their own issues with flames.
This year's Mom's Made Fullmetal Week takes place from December 20th to December 24th.
The prompts are:
Day 1 - Snow / It’s cold outside
Day 2 - Egg-nog / Hot cocoa
Day 3- Snow Angel/ Snowman
Day 4 - Fireplace/ Family dinner
Day 5 - Gift giving/ Tradition
Rules and Guidelines:
1. Please tag this page, your type of contribution (art, fic, song, edit; etc) and any appropriate triggers. Please try to include moms-made-fullmetal-2021 in your first five tags to help me find it. Please be patient as I will be doing this on my own and after work
2. If for any reason your contribution is missed, please send a message or ask. Please wait at least 24 hours as between work and time zone differences it won’t be possible to reblog everything immediately.
3. The only rule regarding the theme is that the work has to be about a mom or honorary mom in any of the Fullmetal Alchemist universes. It’s okay to mention a romantic ship, but the main object of the work has to be about being a mother or motherly relationship.
6. Feel free to be imaginative with the prompts. Take them any way you wish.
4. No NSFW, Major/Minor ships, incest or paedophilia.
5. Should be Teen rating, go by what you see in show or read in the manga.
7. If you miss a deadline for one of the days, feel free to contribute at any time. Once it’s midnight in your timezone it’s fair game.
8. Abuse to and from any of the participants will not be tolerated. This is a feel-good week, and we don’t want to ruin it with negativity. You will be blocked and your work won’t be shared.
9. If you wish to post elsewhere and post a link on Tumblr, that’s fine too. I will be setting up a collection on AO3. If you don’t have a Tumblr, that’s ok, I will share a link to your work.

What is Equivalent Exchange?
Equivalent Exchange is a low-pressure Fullmetal Alchemist fanwork exchange for fanfiction and fanart of any character or ship from all existing FMA canons. Now back for the fourth year!
Each participant will create a piece of fanfiction (500+ words) or fanart (a clean sketch), and receive one fanwork in turn. Participants are matched based on their sign-ups, so you will choose what kind of content you’d like to make and receive.
What are the rules?
The full list of rules can be found here. We ask that participants read all the rules before signing up, but the most important ones are these:
Don’t be a jerk – no exceptions.
Use appropriate tags and warnings for the content of your work.
What can I make?
The sky’s the limit! You can make content of single characters, romantic or sexual relationships, or platonic relationships; gen or ship content of any rating, whether SFW or NSFW; and content featuring characters from all iterations of FMA, including movies, games, and light novels. All content is welcome in this exchange, as long as it is properly tagged.
You said all romantic and sexual relationships are welcome, but does that include –
Yes. Questions asking whether specific ships are eligible will be deleted. The answer is “yes” across the board.
Okay, how does this work?
This exchange is hosted at Archive of Our Own (so you will need an AO3 account to participate). The exchange occurs in three stages: nominations, sign-ups, and creation. The 2021 schedule can be found here.
Nominations: This is when participants decide what characters and ships will be eligible for the exchange. When nominations open, you will be able to submit a list of what you want to receive and/or create. If there’s something you might want, be sure to nominate it! Nominations for the 2021 exchange will be open August 7 - August 21.
Sign-ups: This is when participants narrow down their options. From the list of nominated tags, you’ll offer the types of fanworks you want to create, and request the types you want to receive. You will have the option to clarify additional details here, such as any content you do not want to receive. Sign-ups for the 2021 exchange will be open August 14 - August 21.
Creation: After sign-ups close, participants will be assigned a gift to create based on the offers in their sign-up. The identity of everyone’s gifters and giftees will remain secret as you work on your creation. (The person who’s making your gift will probably not be the same person you’re making a gift for!) The creation period for the 2021 exchange will run from August 22 - September 25. After that, everyone will get to open their gifts on October 3!
