What I post:

Mostly edits, however, I will post the occasional text or opinion. Plus, I have sometimes done polls.

Warning:

I often go through long patches of time where I do little to no posting due to lack of motivation or the inability to think of any ideas. This also can often be because I move fixation from one thing to another. For example, my main fixation was Red Dwarf and then moved to Gotham so I focused on posting to that, I am now fixating on Portal and Portal 2 (plus mods) so my focus on posting to this account is often is limited. For this I apologise for any times I just disappear. I do try and make something at least once a month.

Spoilers for 'Red Dwarf: Last Human"

I have just finished last human for a second time and I am newly remembering how much the ending irritated me. Like, this man who just found out he is a father and saved all your lives, is dead and when you figure out that you have another luck virus serum you don't think that perhaps get that luck to save your friend. Instead they choose to use the luck to have children. Which sure, it is important but that doesn't change the fact that they took A SIP EACH! They didn't both need luck, Lister just needed the luck that he would still be able to have kids. They could have had another sip of luck and found perhaps a spare light bee OR even a way that they could fix the mauled light bee, because that would be incredibly lucky. But no, they use both the sips for kids.

I guess they could have done that afterwards in the story but they didn't tell us that so all we can do is theorise and not have it confirmed whether they did or did not save Rimmer.

I am very upset with how it ended, so know I'm going to reread 'Infinity welcomes careful drivers' for the third time.
