Special Operations

You seek a challenge on the side? Eager to earn some cash for causing some mayhem?

Then we suggest you visit the new Special Operations board at the Bridge and pick a mission you feel up to! CAUTION: most of these missions are dangerous, but as the saying goes: no pain, no gain, right?

With the Starforce Delta stretched to its limit, Admiral Lancer has announced that mercenaries should take over more and more risky operations. Starfleet command will update the Special Operations every 2 days and trusts in your commitment to help hold the line. That means the burden of victory lies upon your shoulders, mercenary! So check the board every second day for new missions!

Mercenary Profile

To keep track of all the heroic acts, small and epic, GORE is introducing the Mercenary Profile.

Here everyone can see your progress, your victories, your ship and all hell unleashing firepower that is equipped on it. To further determine the effectiveness of every single mercenary, GORE is ranking them according to their Combat Power. (the value of your Combat Power is determined by several of your key metrics).

To view your profile, just check your Mercenary Handbook and click on “Mercenary Profile”.

Custom Paint Jobs

Admiral Lancer, commanding officer of the Starforce Delta, has fully acknowledged the value of mercenaries at an overstretched frontline. So he hereby permits the full customization of all mercenary fighter ships- you have earned it!

All you have to do is visit your fighter on the hangar and click on “Paint Shop”. For starters you can choose between 4 custom skins in the coloring of your choosing. Feel like dominating space in a 'Red Baron'-like design, or should it rather be a cute pink paintjob with little hearts on it? The choice is yours!

The gloves are coming off, let us bring peace to this star system, with rocket-launchers if necessary!

Reinforcements have arrived - Veterans take the lead!

The Starforce Delta keeps advancing deep into Shar’dal controlled territory. Our overstretched frontlines are now entirely held by mercenaries like yourself. More and more new recruits from all parts of earth are joining our ranks and the Starforce Delta now solely depends on selfless volunteers like yourself to keep the supply lines, our lifelines intact.

To adjust to the challenging situation G.O.R.E. High Command has issued the following new combat features:

Veteran Package

To easily distinguish between battle hardened veterans and greenhorns still in factory painted fighters, G.O.R.E. has issued special fighter markings bearing the insignia of G.O.R.E. special forces -  this is the highest honor ever given to mercenaries. These markings are hard-earned as they are only available for veterans at level 25 or above. Those chosen few among you, who qualify for this highest honor are called to pick up their Veteran Package at the Paint Shop. We all salute you!

Defense Systems Upgraded

Many of you choose to test their combat effectiveness by raiding fellow mercenaries in the ongoing PvP Tournaments - G.O.R.E. High Command highly recommends that approach. “We need battle hardened pilots and battleships to support the Starforce Delta. The more combat experience everyone gathers - the better” - quote Admiral Lancer.

To beef up mercenary frigate defenses G.O.R.E. has updated the “Frigate Defenses” interface on the Bridge. All turrets can now be upgraded simultaneously! All you have to do is click on the “Research Upgrades” Tab and choose what kind of defense turrets you want to be upgraded.
