how did your parents react to your relationship with John? How did his react?

Hello.

John's parents' reaction was pretty cold, which isn't surprising—they’re both dead.

My parents—well, I think they always had a sense that I'd one day introduce John as my partner. Even though we didn't spend much time together, they noticed a change in me after John came into my life. I suppose parents just pick up on things like that. Naturally, they had their reservations, especially given John's history of violent behaviour. Once, during a visit, my mother pulled John aside for a private conversation. I could have deduced what they discussed, but I chose not to. After that, my mother seemed more at ease around John, and neither of them ever questioned my relationship with John @johnhwatsonblog . I think, for the first time, they saw me genuinely happy.

currently reading the original Sherlock Holmes stories, but would it also be worth it to listen to this podcast series I keep seeing everyone excitedly talk about (at some point)? The hype for the podcast is insane

I’m like slowly losing my mind tryna get as much Sherlock content as I can, I can’t even begin to describe my immense fascination with these characters and how I can relate to some absurd aspects of them 😭

John (Sherlock TV Show version) PLAYED CLARINET??

has anyone written or drawn FanArt about this?? I had no idea until I read this Sherlock nonfiction book my mom got me (it’s basically a bts of the show and the thought process when writing it with some little Easter eggs) and they mention that John played clarinet in school. Ngl I wanna make FanArt of this some time now, I had no idea, and as a clarinetist THAT IS SO AWESOMEEE
