alright listen, in all my days of knowing about this funky little game, i have not once ever seen this specific piece of promo art where Barry looks like this!! like, that's unbelievable!! i'm so into older versions of MD and i've never seen this before!! is it new? it appears to be the same art we're used to where Barry has the brown hair, but his head's edited to have an appearance more akin to the old app icon with the black hair. i found this on MD's app page preview trailer and deadass got jumpscared seeing this new promo art. not too sure how i feel about Barry's bloodshot eyes, but he is rockin' the hairdo and i'm likin' the color :) kinda wish we kept the black hair Barry sometimes, or at least a mix of black and brown. he looks nice!!

does anyone have any information about this "Age Of Zombies Beer Stein" that was mentioned in a contest Halfbrick did for the game's iOS release? it's mentioned in this page as one of the first place prizes, but i've never seen a single image of it anywhere, and searching for it yields no results.

it's not on their Cafepress so it must have been something exclusive. i'm just curious to know what it looked like because you'd expect something like this to pop up as a photo somewhere. the section screenshotted seems to imply that there was a photo of it up on the page at one point, so i thought i'd look on the Wayback Machine to see if it was archived, but the one snapshot from 2020 has nothing. is this like, a piece of physical lost media or something? why is this so interesting?

(important note: i tried to have a look at the page announcing the winners to see if there was any info about the mysterious stein, but for some unknown reason, the link keeps redirecting to "Dog playing Fruit Ninja" which i find to be both kinda annoying and extremely funny. i keep getting my path blocked by some dog on an iPad and i don't know how to get around it....)

it's a bit late, but here's the finished art for Jetpack Joyride's 13th anniversary! i can't even begin to tell you about all the memories i've had with this awesome game! here's to another decade of jetpack-related chaos!!

(i gotta clarify that the champagne bottle is referenced from an official JJ artwork for the apple soda jetpack and that the 13 might look a little wonky because i'm not very good at lettering,,,)

today, September 1st 2023, is officially the 13th anniversary of Jetpack Joyride! to celebrate one of my absolute favourite mobile games, i drew a little sketch of Barry and Craig partying the night away together with some good ol' fashioned totally-not-champagne apple soda :)

i was planning to do a digital drawing, but because i totally definitely didn't forget that JJ's anniversary was today, it might be a bit fashionably late :) happy 13th anniversary Jetpack Joyride!

p.s. ignore the fact that i completely forgot to draw the big crack down craig's visor ssshhhhh i'll fix it later ;) just pretend he got it fixed kk lol
