Y'all ever just wanna cry but you can't 'cause you got too much shit to do?
So... I'm gonna be vulnerable real quick.
As a polyamorous woman, I like looking up relatable content on here. I love seeing all the cute, fun art and reading all the interesting things people have to say on the matter. It's a fun pastime. But I've noticed there are some things that I haven't really found on here.
My fiance and I have been together for over 8 years now- I'm polyam and he's monogamous. I came out and told him I was interested in trying it out about 4 years ago, and he was completely supportive from the start. Hell, he was the one who suggested I try online dating when I was having trouble meeting people. The few times my mother said anything insulting(she was not thrilled when she found out) I had to hold him back from giving her a peice of his mind. I love him so much and he's amazing.
So I find it odd that I never see any posts, art or rants about polyam people being in relationships with people who are monogamous. Is it less common? Am I using the right tags? It would just be nice to see and hear from other people who go through similar situations and have the same worries.
Like dealing with people who ask how the other person feels about you seeing multiple people when they aren't? Or people asking how it isn't cheating? Or people saying your significant other might be faking happiness because they don't want to lose you?
I don't know... I'm probably not looking hard enough. Just something that's been on my mind, I guess.
Such a classic. It was my birthday video toošššš

Me on a spiritual level

Any Undertale fans out there? Iāve got a story with your name on it... if youāre interested. I wasnāt originally gonna post this story, like at all. It was something I used as a way to fight writers block. But, after going over it I figured it was fun enough to put out there. If you read it, please leave a comment and tell me what you think!
Thereās a fic on fanfiction(.)net that Iāve kept tabs on for years to see if itās been updated or not. While Iām no longer even in the fandom itās written for, it just has one of the greatest storylines Iāve ever read. Last time it was updated was 2011.
The other day, I decided to reread the entire thing and leave a very in-depth review of what I thought of each chapter. I also mentioned how I started reading it when I was 13 and am now 21, but always came back to see if it was ever finished because I loved it so dearly.
Today, said author sent me a private message saying that her analytics showed that the story was still getting views even after all these years, but no one ever bothered to leave reviews other than āupdate soon!!!ā, so she never felt motivated enough to finish it. She said that me reviewing every single chapter with lengthy paragraphs made her cry and meant the world to her. She also mentioned that she felt encouraged to write the two remaining chapters needed to complete the story and that she would send me a message the night before she updates the fic.
Iām literally sobbing. Iām so excited :ā)
Please always remember to leave a review when reading fanfiction!!! It means a lot to a writer.
If yāall wanna know the true power of hate, just remember that Alan Turing, the breaker of the enigma code in WWII, was driven to suicide by being forced to undergo chemical castration as a punishment for his homosexuality.
Historians say he saved 14 to 21 million lives.
Iād also like to say in the time we studied WWII in school, the history textbooks never mentioned him. I had never heard of the guy until I watched āThe Imitation Gameā which I 110% recommend you watch if you havenāt.Alan Turing was a blessing to humanity who saved (once again) 14 to 21 million lives, and he is left out of history because he was gay.
And this is just one example?? So many brilliant and heroic people are left out of history because of their race, their gender, their sexuality, their religion, and itās just because some bigots in positions of influence get to decide what parts of history are remembered.
Accurate
fanfic titles be like āwe have not touched the stars (nor are we forgiven)ā and then you look at the tags & the first one is āanal fistingā
