Krigg actually quite enjoys the warmer months of a given planet on visits, within reason. Her specie originates from a mostly tropical planet, with dense vegetation and varying degrees of humidity, despite them having gone the way of most sapient species and colonized most regions of their planet. As such, she tends to feel naturally comfortable in places with similar weather conditions, ranging from temperate to tropical. Plus, Krigg actually quite enjoys vegetation, and sees spending time in forested areas to be a pleasant experience.

Conversely, her specie does poorly in cold climates. They have long appendages, relatively little subcutaneous padding, and no fur to speak of. Not to mention, they're kind of just... Unfortunately small. Krigg herself would absolutely love frolicking around in the snow, seeing as most species manage to make it look very fun, but... It's so cold it is hard for her to really focus on the fun.

She would still punt someone with a snowball if given the chance.

Rex was floating out in space,tethered just beside Krigg's ship. Trying to fit some replacement part on her ship last minute. They're in the middle of a trip and can't afford to stop.

He's pressing a button on his tether-belt to ping Krigg for her attention so she can see if he's got it fitted correctly. Without a spacesuit he can't really use a communication device... This trip was full of inconveniences like that so far.

"Hyuuuu..." Krigg sighed, head propped up lazily on the palm of her hand by a lone elbow, fingers from her free hand idly drumming on the ship's dashboard. The screens were displaying Rex's advancement with replacing the thruster to the Revenger's damaged wing, but she barely paid it any mind, busy staring off into the vacuum of space.

They'd found out the hard way that the piece was faulty and required replacement... in the middle of her doing Rex a favor and driving him a few light years away for the sake of his own affairs. And before that, they'd had to deal with the problem of some space barnacles trying to invade the airlock. And even before that, the same kraken that had chased her planetside had come back, forcing them to run laps around the solar system's asteroid belt to shake it off.

If she didn't know any better, she would have theorized that Rex's propensity towards attracting dumb fits of bad luck from the universe had somehow leaked into their brief road trip. Oh, who was she kidding - she totally could believe that.

A soft beeping alarm from the screens had her returning her attention to the situation at hand. Fingers flew over the ship's controls, pulling up the images from the outside cameras to check for the proper attachment of the thruster, and running the ship's diagnostics to check that everything was properly attached.

After a few seconds, all results returned to her green, and she pressed a small button by one of the screens. In response to it, the tether-belt started buzzing, signalling to Rex that he could return to the airlock.

Hopefully, they'd then manage to complete their trip without too much trouble.

Yes, hello everyone. Due to the dreaded thing that is ~having relatives~/j, I’ll be away from home for roughly a week as I go visit family with my mother and grandmother, starting on the 24th and returning late on the 1st. I most likely won’t answer threads, since I don’t have mobile Xkit to crop it, and mobile is generally a wee messy, but asks are fine.
