My nervous ass : Okay so I was busy tonight, but I can answer threads tomorrow!
Tomorrow : -Also packed with plans-
My nervous ass : - STARTS SWEATING -
“You shouldn’t be here.”
Send “What happened here?” to find my muse after they’ve finished fighting a brutal fight.
Alternatively — send “You shouldn’t be here.” for my muse’s reaction to stumbling upon yours post-fight.

It was Krigg's firm, yet somewhat humble opinion that finding out what kind of violence someone was capable of without being involved in the act was never a pleasant, or recommended experience. Not mixing work life and common, mundane life was easier on the brain for most people she found. It could bring its own sort of comfort to know the abilities of someone you fought alongside of, but not if it was jarringly shoved into your face.
Krigg, for one, didn't particularly enjoy being made actively aware of the fact that Rex was perfectly able to punch something into a fine red mist if he got his back into it. Which he'd very much done, if she considered the ruined surroundings situated about the unfortunate Nypardian. The street level was ground zero for a mean sort of scrap - wrecked building faces, crushed cars that looked like tin toys, smashedand levelled pavement... plus a few smashed water mains, spewing small geisers up into the air from massive cracks. And what she thought were the remains of a battlesuit filled with jellied gunk and no pilot in sight.
And of course, Rex. Looking worse for wear, and decidedly not relaxed about the whole ordeal, if the tension in the arch of his back was any indication. The perturbed look slowly bled out of Krigg's features, replaced by a neutral, somewhat stony expression of calm. Nevermind the fact she felt a part of her twinge uncomfortably at the thought of the usually relaxed, rather sweet-mannered Nypardian being dragged to that kind of extremity. Her own reserves could wait.
"Uhhh... Rex?" A call, somewhat tentative - not too loud, not too harsh on possibly frayed nerves.
"...You wanna' bounce on outta' here?"
[ GO ] ( green five)
[ GO ] for the taller muse to pick up the shorter one and carry them away from a potential/just started fight.
One second, Krigg was reaching for her pistols, ready and fully willing to dismantle some... large centipede-esque arm clamp robot, probably escaped from some form of factory after gaining sentience or some such. The next second, she was forced to register the loud plodding of a heavy metal frame coming in her direction from an adjacent street and react accordingly - in her case, by drawing her weapon.
Mercifully, she witheld from pressing the trigger just long enough to catch onto the fact that Green Five, one of the more freshly renovated units of the Fivemind squadron, was the being sprinting her way. Not some random ennemy attempting an ambush, just an acquaintance that happened to be there.
Unfortunately, that left her very unprepaired for what happened in the second AFTER that, which involved Green five wrapping their whole hand around her torso, picking her up like a stray hamburger. Followed by them tucking her under their elbow, still very much as though she was such a stray hamburger.

It took several more beats before the information that she was being carried reached her brain.
"What the- HEY! I'M NOT A HANDBAG, LEMME' OFF THIS RIDE!" Came Krigg's rage-squeal of protest, the diminutive extraterrestrial kicking and squirming to her heart's content, to ridiculously minute effect. Green Five, unfortunately for her, was just too big to care.
5mind:
The hound froze. Angular ears perked up at the whine of metal. They hoisted themselves over the railing of the fire escape, already halfway up the building.
A heat signature was detected, too large to be a mere stray animal. Almost..humanoid. The hound did not move, all their attention honed in on the speck of warmth by the rooftop.
Another groan of strained metal. Then a snap that almost made the hound jump. Something fell. No, the hound figured, it was probably someone. Unlike the way up, the way down was much faster. The hunter leapt back down to the street with a considerablly loud glunk before making their way towards where Krigg fell.
“Krigg? Krigg..what is going on there.” Red One, fortunately, had the sense to keep their voice low. Or maybe the unit was just getting even weaker. “Hm..Never-nevermind that. I- we- see him.”
The approach of an engine and the sound of wheels screeching to a halt broke the silence. The hunter swerved around.
Fivemind never did specify who Yellow was coming to pick up.
Further down the street, Blue Two trotted over to where Red was. Her cooling fans were turned up as high as they could go without being too loud.
Krigg groaned quietly, slowly lifting her face off the garbage bag to rest her chin against the slightly smelly plastic, a dire expression of annoyance plastered across her face. Well, what a way to give away her position - one too many donuts, and all the strategic advantage was well and truly gone. She should have KNOWN that gutter wouldn’t hold her weight. Stupid, stupid, stupid-
A loud GLUNK made her antennae jump up straight on her head, and she scrambled to her feet like a startled cockroach with a string of “Shitshitshitshit-” swears spilling from her mouth, practically tripping over herself in hopes of getting away. Bipedal posture be damned for the time being, she had places to be, short legs, and no time to bother getting upright! She could worry about stained gloves another time.
“I friggin’ fell off!” She squeaked into the microphone, scurrying pointedly away from the noise - only for her to freeze and throw a look over her shoulder as a fresh new noise reached her delicate antennae. The rumble of an engine, followed by the whine of wheels screech-skidding to a halt caused Krigg’s stomach to drop the slightest bit.
“Welp. The cavalry’s arrived.” She uttered nervously, before glaring pointedly at her microphone, still very much not getting back on two limbs. “Hey, remember, we're supposed to boogie Red-one out of trouble - don’t start a fight now that we’re getting in the clear!” She groused, not very much appreciating the prospect of sudden, unexpected, and in her opinion slightly unnecessary rescue. She was NOT that squishy!
pzfr:
“It’s always nice to have a look around, explore a bit. And good on ya! Public transportation could be better, but it’s one of those services I’d rather not try to pull ‘evasive maneuvers’ against, right up there with the mail carriers.”
Rex nodded. He was just glad Krigg opted for the bus. Save the ship for emergencies. And hopefully not to steal a vehicle, but he could only keep up with so much all at once if she picked a busy day of his to do that.
“When we get there, maybe I could give you some pointers. I’m not in the part of town too often– I mean, I know how to navigate the whole of the city, but all the hotspots, best shops, offices to sort out this and that, I’ll have to dredge up some memories and ask directions.”
“Ah, yes. Don’t be a dick with public goods and services - that one lesson every reasonable adult should learn, but that is somehow missed by more people than you know.” Krigg pointed a finger at Rex, clicking her teeth with a cheeky little grin, leaning back just enough to be comfortable and sling one leg over the other. She shot the Nypardian something of an amused side-glance at the mention of offering pointers for a part of the city he... himself didn’t know much about.
“Mate, you don’t HAVE to act as a guide for random lost space drifters on your off day, you deserve to chill a bit. Enjoy yourself a little, don’t worry about me, I’m not going to blow up anything, promise.” Krigg waved a hand in the air along with the playful little jab, before folding it behind her head as a cushion. “...As long as I know how I can go back to port, I’m basically set. Unless you just wanna’ come with, in that case, I don’t mind!”
