Charles-Henri is shown being uncomfortable with the role assigned to him because he’s born male and he’s quite effeminate. Now, being uncomfortable with killing people and being possibly uncomfortable with getting an erection during corporal punishment are very normal. Even if it might cause issue with self-image, I just cannot see how these are symptoms of gender dysmorphia as opposed to simply having normal morals.
