I REALLY hope in season 7 we see Tim really upset about losing Lucy. Since the breakup he seemed unfazed, and I get it, he hides his emotions and will lie to himself and to anyone else about his emotions but now that he’s been in therapy and has more of an understanding… I wanna see HIM hurt over losing her. Like his life is genuinely so effected by this loss, that his life is not the same and I wanna see him grieve it.

I wanna SEE IT. Not just assume he feels it. I wanna SEE.

I feel like we all didn’t understand it the same way, and that’s fine so I guess I’ll explain my perspective bc this is interesting…

I can’t understand why some of you genuinely think it was supposed to be them getting back together…? Like …? She couldn’t be in the same room as him just 2 episodes ago …?

Some people are saying it was “too platonic” ….

UM. Yeah!? It’s supposed to be platonic. He doesn’t have the right to insinuate anything romantic bc HE broke up with HER. You guys seem to be forgetting their friendship was severely damaged by all of this and THAT has to be repaired before ANYTHING romantic happens again. Tim is still in early stages of therapy, it would make NO SENSE for him to insinuate romance. Especially when we got him acknowledging “I ruined everything so I will make it up however YOU ALLOW” shows he knows it’s at HER PACE bc she was the one who was wronged and RIGHTFULLY SO, now has boundaries up around him.

Maybe I’m still too pro Lucy rather than Tim for this breakup but this is REALISTIC for how they’ve written the breakup…

Lucy DESERVES to put up walls with Tim and have her space. He SHATTERED HER HEART GUYS. No he doesn’t get to kiss her or say I love you or anything right now.

Tim ACKNOWLEDGED he ruined everything (which HE DID) and then said he will spend THE REST OF HIS LIFE making it up to her in whatever doses SHE allows, bc he KNOWS she can only take him little by little right now (I mean she couldn’t even be in the same room as him)

He KNOWS he screwed up AND that it’s HER decision now how they move forward.

We obviously know they’re gonna make them endgame, so this is the right direction.

What’d y’all expect??? Her allowing him access to her after he shattered her heart??? Nah huh. Doesn’t work like that.

I REALLY HOPE Lucy starts dating someone new season 7. Let Tim cry about it idc but I hope Lucy falls in love again and she’s happy finally
